Rudy Gobert i koronavirus.

Baš se nekako ne vole. A čini se kako se francuski košarkaš po treći put zarazio zlosretnim virusom. Opet na njega... Američki ESPN objavio je kako je centar Minnesota Timberwolvesa ušao u takozvani „health and safety protocols”. U prošlosti je to u pravilu značilo kako je igrač u tom protokolu gotovo sigurno zaražen.

Upitan je bio Gobert za utakmicu svoje momčadi protiv Milwaukee Bucksa u subotu. No, ipak je zaigrao, kako su izvještavali tamošnji mediji, usprkos bolesti. Odrazilo se to na njegovu igru. Zabilježio je samo sedam koševa, uz 13 skokova. Sljedeći susret je preskočio, onaj protiv Houston Rocketsa. Uspjeli su Wolvesi pobijediti i bez njega. Isti izvor navodi kako će Gobert konkurirati za sljedeću utakmicu s New York Knicksima.

I ne bi tu bilo išta čudno. Nema ga nekoliko utakmica, pa što sad? No, vratimo li film dvije godine unazad, sjetit ćemo se njegovih eskapada u jeku pandemija koronavirusa. Trostruki dobitnik nagrade za najboljeg obrambenog igrača 2020. nemilo se sprdao s virusom. Na jednoj konferenciji za medije govorio je o tome kako koronu baš ne shvaća ozbiljno. Čak je i djelom potkrijepio svoja uvjerenja.

Dobro igra i u Minnesoti

Naime, na kraju, dok je odlazio, namjerno je dirao sve mikrofone koji su se našli ispred njega. Želio je Francuz svima dati do znanja da se ne trebaju bojati. Kad, gle čuda, svega par dana nakon toga, Gobert je „popasao” upravo koronu. Dobio je pozitivan nalaz i izbivao s terena neko vrijeme.

U međuvremenu mu se to dogodilo još jednom, a sada evo, prema svemu sudeći, virus ga je pronašao i treći put. Nije to, srećom, ostavilo traga na njegova izdanja na parketu. I dalje je riječ o jednom od najboljih obrambenih igrača, ako ne i najboljem „rim protectoru” lige.

Prošlog ljeta zahvalio mu se Utah Jazz, njegov dugogodišnji klub. Egzodusu iz Jazza pridružio se i on. „Spremili” su ga u Minnesotu. Tamo se pridružio još jednom jakom centarskom imenu – Karl-Anthonyju Townsu. Zajedno čine možda i najmoćniji „twin towers” lige.

Nije se to dosad previše odrazilo na igru. Na devetom su mjestu Zapadne konferencije s omjerom 5-5. S druge strane, Utah je najveće iznenađenje na otvaranju sezone. Na drugoj su poziciji sa sedam pobjeda i tri poraza, usprkos renoviranom rosteru i rješavanju glavnih igrača.

Gobert ove sezone opet bilježi dobre brojke. U prosjeku zabija 12,6 poena, te hvata gotovo 14 skokova što je najviše u ligi.

Rudy Gobert i koronavirus.

Baš se nekako ne vole. A čini se kako se francuski košarkaš po treći put zarazio zlosretnim virusom. Opet na njega... Američki ESPN objavio je kako je centar Minnesota Timberwolvesa ušao u takozvani „health and safety protocols”. U prošlosti je to u pravilu značilo kako je igrač u tom protokolu gotovo sigurno zaražen.

Upitan je bio Gobert za utakmicu svoje momčadi protiv Milwaukee Bucksa u subotu. No, ipak je zaigrao, kako su izvještavali tamošnji mediji, usprkos bolesti. Odrazilo se to na njegovu igru. Zabilježio je samo sedam koševa, uz 13 skokova. Sljedeći susret je preskočio, onaj protiv Houston Rocketsa. Uspjeli su Wolvesi pobijediti i bez njega. Isti izvor navodi kako će Gobert konkurirati za sljedeću utakmicu s New York Knicksima.

I ne bi tu bilo išta čudno. Nema ga nekoliko utakmica, pa što sad? No, vratimo li film dvije godine unazad, sjetit ćemo se njegovih eskapada u jeku pandemija koronavirusa. Trostruki dobitnik nagrade za najboljeg obrambenog igrača 2020. nemilo se sprdao s virusom. Na jednoj konferenciji za medije govorio je o tome kako koronu baš ne shvaća ozbiljno. Čak je i djelom potkrijepio svoja uvjerenja.

Dobro igra i u Minnesoti

Naime, na kraju, dok je odlazio, namjerno je dirao sve mikrofone koji su se našli ispred njega. Želio je Francuz svima dati do znanja da se ne trebaju bojati. Kad, gle čuda, svega par dana nakon toga, Gobert je „popasao” upravo koronu. Dobio je pozitivan nalaz i izbivao s terena neko vrijeme.

U međuvremenu mu se to dogodilo još jednom, a sada evo, prema svemu sudeći, virus ga je pronašao i treći put. Nije to, srećom, ostavilo traga na njegova izdanja na parketu. I dalje je riječ o jednom od najboljih obrambenih igrača, ako ne i najboljem „rim protectoru” lige.

Prošlog ljeta zahvalio mu se Utah Jazz, njegov dugogodišnji klub. Egzodusu iz Jazza pridružio se i on. „Spremili” su ga u Minnesotu. Tamo se pridružio još jednom jakom centarskom imenu – Karl-Anthonyju Townsu. Zajedno čine možda i najmoćniji „twin towers” lige.

Nije se to dosad previše odrazilo na igru. Na devetom su mjestu Zapadne konferencije s omjerom 5-5. S druge strane, Utah je najveće iznenađenje na otvaranju sezone. Na drugoj su poziciji sa sedam pobjeda i tri poraza, usprkos renoviranom rosteru i rješavanju glavnih igrača.

Gobert ove sezone opet bilježi dobre brojke. U prosjeku zabija 12,6 poena, te hvata gotovo 14 skokova što je najviše u ligi.

Baš se nekako ne vole. A čini se kako se francuski košarkaš po treći put zarazio zlosretnim virusom. Opet na njega... Američki ESPN objavio je kako je centar Minnesota Timberwolvesa ušao u takozvani „health and safety protocols”. U prošlosti je to u pravilu značilo kako je igrač u tom protokolu gotovo sigurno zaražen.

Upitan je bio Gobert za utakmicu svoje momčadi protiv Milwaukee Bucksa u subotu. No, ipak je zaigrao, kako su izvještavali tamošnji mediji, usprkos bolesti. Odrazilo se to na njegovu igru. Zabilježio je samo sedam koševa, uz 13 skokova. Sljedeći susret je preskočio, onaj protiv Houston Rocketsa. Uspjeli su Wolvesi pobijediti i bez njega. Isti izvor navodi kako će Gobert konkurirati za sljedeću utakmicu s New York...
