Dva igrača Los Angeles Lakersa su pozitivna na koronavirus, objavila je ta NBA momčad u četvrtak navečer, dodajući kako su obojica u karanteni i pod skrbi timskog liječničkog tima.

Lakersi, međutim, nisu otkrili identitet dvojice zaraženih, ali su rekli da su svi igrači testirani zbog domaće utakmice igrane 10. ožujka protiv Brooklyn Netsa čija su četvorica igrača Netsa zaražena virusom COVID-19.

"Danas smo saznali da su dvojica igrača Lakersa pozitivna na koronavirus. Obojica trenutačno nemaju simptome, u karanteni su i pod skrbi timskog liječnika", navodi se u priopćenju Lakersa.

"Svi igrači i članovi osoblja Lakersa su i dalje u samoizolaciji te prate svoje zdravstveno stanje, savjetuju se s osobnim liječnikom i u stalnom su kontaktu s momčadi", dodaju Lakersi.

NBA se našao na udaru kritika jer je omogućio svojim igračima testove za koronavirus koji nisu lako dostupni javnosti, čak ni pacijentima koji pokazuju simptome respiratornih bolesti.

Lakersi su objavili da su im zdravstveni djelatnici savjetovali testiranje zbog utakmice protiv Netsa.

Nekoliko je NBA momčadi objavilo da su nabavili testove za koronavirus privatno i da nisu koristili javne resurse iz Centra za kontrolu bolesti i prevenciju.

NBA je prošli tjedan suspendirala sezonu nakon što je otkriveno da je centar Utah Jazza Rudy Gobert zaražen, a nakon njega ih je još nekolicina potvrdila da su pozitivni na koronavirus.

Nakon što je jučer objavljeno da su dvije osobe u Detroit Pistonsima zaraženi koronavirusom, NBA je poručila klubovima da zatvore dvorane, prostorije za trening, te ostale klupske prostorije do daljnjeg. Prije toga je bilo dopušteno da igrači i zaposlenici mogu boraviti u klupskim prostorima pod određenim uvjetima. Ali od sada igrači mogu vježbati jedino kod kuće.

NBA također potiče igrače da ostanu izolirani u svojim domovima, a da kuće napuštaju samo kad im je potrebno da nabave namirnice ili lijekove, izvijestio je ESPN.

Dva igrača Los Angeles Lakersa su pozitivna na koronavirus, objavila je ta NBA momčad u četvrtak navečer, dodajući kako su obojica u karanteni i pod skrbi timskog liječničkog tima.

Lakersi, međutim, nisu otkrili identitet dvojice zaraženih, ali su rekli da su svi igrači testirani zbog domaće utakmice igrane 10. ožujka protiv Brooklyn Netsa čija su četvorica igrača Netsa zaražena virusom COVID-19.

"Danas smo saznali da su dvojica igrača Lakersa pozitivna na koronavirus. Obojica trenutačno nemaju simptome, u karanteni su i pod skrbi timskog liječnika", navodi se u priopćenju Lakersa.

"Svi igrači i članovi osoblja Lakersa su i dalje u samoizolaciji te prate svoje zdravstveno stanje, savjetuju se s osobnim liječnikom i u stalnom su kontaktu s momčadi", dodaju Lakersi.

NBA se našao na udaru kritika jer je omogućio svojim igračima testove za koronavirus koji nisu lako dostupni javnosti, čak ni pacijentima koji pokazuju simptome respiratornih bolesti.

Lakersi su objavili da su im zdravstveni djelatnici savjetovali testiranje zbog utakmice protiv Netsa.

Nekoliko je NBA momčadi objavilo da su nabavili testove za koronavirus privatno i da nisu koristili javne resurse iz Centra za kontrolu bolesti i prevenciju.

NBA je prošli tjedan suspendirala sezonu nakon što je otkriveno da je centar Utah Jazza Rudy Gobert zaražen, a nakon njega ih je još nekolicina potvrdila da su pozitivni na koronavirus.

Nakon što je jučer objavljeno da su dvije osobe u Detroit Pistonsima zaraženi koronavirusom, NBA je poručila klubovima da zatvore dvorane, prostorije za trening, te ostale klupske prostorije do daljnjeg. Prije toga je bilo dopušteno da igrači i zaposlenici mogu boraviti u klupskim prostorima pod određenim uvjetima. Ali od sada igrači mogu vježbati jedino kod kuće.

NBA također potiče igrače da ostanu izolirani u svojim domovima, a da kuće napuštaju samo kad im je potrebno da nabave namirnice ili lijekove, izvijestio je ESPN.
