Završilo je 29. izdanje Prve HNL. Po mnogočemu bilo je ovo čudno i nadasve atipično natjecanje. Igralo se u tri dijela, pred praznim tribinama... Završnicu je pak obilježilo dramatično nadmetanje za drugu poziciju čak četiriju klubova.

No, ovo će prvenstvo ostati upamćeno i po bizarnom rekordu: čak osam klubova (dakle, 80%) smijenilo je trenera tijekom sezone! Dinamo, Hajduk, Varaždin i Inter učinili su to – dva puta. Sveukupno je 21 trener vodio nekog hrvatskog prvoligaša ove sezone. Jedino je Samir Toplak vodio dva kluba: nakon smjene u Interu vratio se nogometnim korijenima – u Varaždin.

Sve ovosezonske nedaće, od korone do klupskih turbulencija, preživjeli su jedino Goran Tomić (Lokomotiva) i Ivan Prelec (Istra 1961). A od ukupno 12 trenerskih promjena samo je u jednom slučaju raskid suradnje inicirao – trener. Zbog latentnog izostanka potpore od strane navijača, klupu Rijeke napustio je Igor Bišćan.

Loši rezultati nisu bili razlogom micanja niti Nenada Bjelice. Prema službenom priopćenju maksimirskog kluba, Dinamo i Bjelica sporazumno su se razišli. Naprosto, maksimirski su poslovni partneri imali drugačija razmišljanja u svezi prevladavanja koronakrize, odnosno smanjivanja primanja.

Početkom aktualne godine, pod nadasve čudnim okolnostima, u Zaprešiću je smijenjen najdugovječniji trener HNL-a, Samir Toplak. Na zahtjev novog klupskog investitora (koji se tri mjeseca kasnije povukao) za trenera je postavljen Željko Petrović. Prethodno je Toplak momčad Intera vodio pet i pol godina, u 160 utakmica!

Iako su čelnici hrvatskih prvoligaša iskazali veliko nepovjerenje spram trenera svojih klubova, odnosno vlastitih odluka, razvidno je kako preferiraju domaće stručnjake. Od 21 trenera koliko ih je ove sezone prodefiliralo HNL-om samo su trojica stranci. Pritom, jedino je Crnogorac Željko Petrović bio poznat hrvatskoj nogometnoj javnosti. Ponajprije zbog činjenice da je uoči raspada Jugoslavije igrao za Dinamo (u generaciji Bobana i Šukera).

Prije dolaska u Rijeku, Simon Rožman trenirao je slovenske klubove – Celje i Domžale. Njegov je odabir nakon odstupa Bišćana predstavljao nemalo iznenađenje. Predsjednik i vlasnik HNK Rijeka Vlatko Mišković angažirao je Rožmana zacijelo na preporuku Matjaža Keka (čija se riječ na Rujevici i dalje štuje).

Prije nego je postao trenerom Gorice malotko je u hrvatskom nogometu čuo za Valdasa Dambrauskasa. No, bilo je dovoljno da je za njega znao sportski direktor velikogoričkog kluba, također Litavac, Mindaugas Nikoličius.

S obzirom da će voditi momčadi Rijeke, odnosno Gorice i u novom prvenstvu, možemo zaključiti da su Rožman i Dambrauskas opravdali očekivanja. Oni su ovoga trenutka i jedini strani treneri u HNL-u. Činjenica da 80% klubova u HNL-u predvode domaći stručnjaci ne predstavlja (preveliko) iznenađenje. Poglavito u kontekstu spoznaje da u hrvatskom nogometu egzistira 200-tinjak vlasnika UEFA-ine Pro licence (koji su završili Nogometnu akademiju HNS-a). I svi se nadaju pozivu s neke od deset prvoligaških adresa...

Završilo je 29. izdanje Prve HNL. Po mnogočemu bilo je ovo čudno i nadasve atipično natjecanje. Igralo se u tri dijela, pred praznim tribinama... Završnicu je pak obilježilo dramatično nadmetanje za drugu poziciju čak četiriju klubova.

No, ovo će prvenstvo ostati upamćeno i po bizarnom rekordu: čak osam klubova (dakle, 80%) smijenilo je trenera tijekom sezone! Dinamo, Hajduk, Varaždin i Inter učinili su to – dva puta. Sveukupno je 21 trener vodio nekog hrvatskog prvoligaša ove sezone. Jedino je Samir Toplak vodio dva kluba: nakon smjene u Interu vratio se nogometnim korijenima – u Varaždin.

Sve ovosezonske nedaće, od korone do klupskih turbulencija, preživjeli su jedino Goran Tomić (Lokomotiva) i Ivan Prelec (Istra 1961). A od ukupno 12 trenerskih promjena samo je u jednom slučaju raskid suradnje inicirao – trener. Zbog latentnog izostanka potpore od strane navijača, klupu Rijeke napustio je Igor Bišćan.

Loši rezultati nisu bili razlogom micanja niti Nenada Bjelice. Prema službenom priopćenju maksimirskog kluba, Dinamo i Bjelica sporazumno su se razišli. Naprosto, maksimirski su poslovni partneri imali drugačija razmišljanja u svezi prevladavanja koronakrize, odnosno smanjivanja primanja.

Početkom aktualne godine, pod nadasve čudnim okolnostima, u Zaprešiću je smijenjen najdugovječniji trener HNL-a, Samir Toplak. Na zahtjev novog klupskog investitora (koji se tri mjeseca kasnije povukao) za trenera je postavljen Željko Petrović. Prethodno je Toplak momčad Intera vodio pet i pol godina, u 160 utakmica!

Iako su čelnici hrvatskih prvoligaša iskazali veliko nepovjerenje spram trenera svojih klubova, odnosno vlastitih odluka, razvidno je kako preferiraju domaće stručnjake. Od 21 trenera koliko ih je ove sezone prodefiliralo HNL-om samo su trojica stranci. Pritom, jedino je Crnogorac Željko Petrović bio poznat hrvatskoj nogometnoj javnosti. Ponajprije zbog činjenice da je uoči raspada Jugoslavije igrao za Dinamo (u generaciji Bobana i Šukera).

Prije dolaska u Rijeku, Simon Rožman trenirao je slovenske klubove – Celje i Domžale. Njegov je odabir nakon odstupa Bišćana predstavljao nemalo iznenađenje. Predsjednik i vlasnik HNK Rijeka Vlatko Mišković angažirao je Rožmana zacijelo na preporuku Matjaža Keka (čija se riječ na Rujevici i dalje štuje).

Prije nego je postao trenerom Gorice malotko je u hrvatskom nogometu čuo za Valdasa Dambrauskasa. No, bilo je dovoljno da je za njega znao sportski direktor velikogoričkog kluba, također Litavac, Mindaugas Nikoličius.

S obzirom da će voditi momčadi Rijeke, odnosno Gorice i u novom prvenstvu, možemo zaključiti da su Rožman i Dambrauskas opravdali očekivanja. Oni su ovoga trenutka i jedini strani treneri u HNL-u. Završilo je 29. izdanje Prve HNL. Po mnogočemu bilo je ovo čudno i nadasve atipično natjecanje. Igralo se u tri dijela, pred praznim tribinama... Završnicu je pak obilježilo dramatično nadmetanje za drugu poziciju čak četiriju klubova.

No, ovo će prvenstvo ostati upamćeno i po bizarnom rekordu: čak osam klubova (dakle, 80%) smijenilo je trenera tijekom sezone! Dinamo, Hajduk, Varaždin i Inter učinili su to – dva puta. Sveukupno je 21 trener vodio nekog hrvatskog prvoligaša ove sezone. Jedino je Samir Toplak vodio dva kluba: nakon smjene u Interu vratio se nogometnim korijenima – u Varaždin.

Sve ovosezonske nedaće, od korone do klupskih turbulencija, preživjeli su jedino Goran Tomić (Lokomotiva) i Ivan Prelec (Istra 1961). A od ukupno 12 trenerskih promjena samo je...
