Vodstvo hrvatskog nogometnog prvaka Dinama potvrdilo je Igora Jovićevića za novog trenera. Jovićević će za kormilom "modrih" naslijediti Nenada Bjelicu s kojim je klub prošlog tjedna raskinuo ugovor.

Najveći uspjeh u karijeri stigao mu je svega deset dana nakon velikog gubitka, smrti oca Čede Jovićevića koji je preminuo u 68. godini.

"Emocije su pomiješane. Roditelji mi znače jako puno, gubitak tate ostavio je velikoga traga, moram se s time suočiti, sjećanje na njega nikad neće izblijediti. Ponosan sam na njega, na sve što je učinio u karijeri i na sve što je dao Dinamu u tih 10 godina. On je moj heroj, moj idol, uvijek mi je bio parametar kako se treba ponašati i koji su putevi uspjeha," kazao je Jovićević koji je do sada uspješno vodio mladu momčad Dinama.

"Ovo je ostvarenje mojih dječačkih snova, doista je neizmjerna radost koju osjećam, ali isto tako i velika odgovornost koju sa sobom nosi dužnost prvoga trenera. U mladim danima bio sam jedan od navijača sa sjeverne tribine. Prije svega sam Dinamov navijač. Dakle, prije nego što sam trener, ja sam navijač. Volim Dinamo od malena, cijeli život sam tu, tata me u ove prostorije doveo dok sam imao četiri godine. I želio sam biti trener Dinama, nije mi bilo važno kad. Samo da budem," dodao je nakon potpisa ugovora.

Jovićević je rođen u Zagrebu, a svojedobno je bio najbolji kadet Europe. Sa 17 godina, u ljeto 1991. godine, potpisao je ugovor s Real Madridom, ali je teška ozljeda križnih ligamenata zaustavila njegov igrački uspon. Nakon toga igrao je u Japanu, Brazilu, Francuskoj, Kini, Ukrajini te je završio igračku karijeru ponovno u Kini, s novom ozljedom koljena, u dobi od 32 godine.

Nakon umirovljenja počeo se je baviti trenerskim poslom. U lipnju 2014. godine postao je privremenim glavnim trenerom, a godinu dana kasnije i glavni trener u ukrajinskom Karpati Lavovu. U listopadu 2016. je preselio na klupu Celja, a 2017. se vratio u Maksimir. 

Od ljeta 2017. godine vodio je drugu maksimirsku momčad kao i juniore u Uefinoj Ligi prvaka mladih, gdje je plave dvaput uzastopno doveo do četvrtfinala. Ovogodišnji četvrtfinalni dvoboj protiv Benfice odgođen je zbog pandemije, a u međuvremenu je Jovićević preselio u udarni sastav.

Treneru Jovićeviću suradnici će kao članovi stručnog stožera prve momčadi biti pomoćni treneri Damir Krznar i Alen Peternac, trener vratara Sandro Žufić, kondicijski treneri Ivan Štefanić i Stipe Marina, analitičar Vedran Attias te team manager Marko Kuže.

Vodstvo hrvatskog nogometnog prvaka Dinama potvrdilo je Igora Jovićevića za novog trenera. Jovićević će za kormilom "modrih" naslijediti Nenada Bjelicu s kojim je klub prošlog tjedna raskinuo ugovor.

Najveći uspjeh u karijeri stigao mu je svega deset dana nakon velikog gubitka, smrti oca Čede Jovićevića koji je preminuo u 68. godini.

"Emocije su pomiješane. Roditelji mi znače jako puno, gubitak tate ostavio je velikoga traga, moram se s time suočiti, sjećanje na njega nikad neće izblijediti. Ponosan sam na njega, na sve što je učinio u karijeri i na sve što je dao Dinamu u tih 10 godina. On je moj heroj, moj idol, uvijek mi je bio parametar kako se treba ponašati i koji su putevi uspjeha," kazao je Jovićević koji je do sada uspješno vodio mladu momčad Dinama.

"Ovo je ostvarenje mojih dječačkih snova, doista je neizmjerna radost koju osjećam, ali isto tako i velika odgovornost koju sa sobom nosi dužnost prvoga trenera. U mladim danima bio sam jedan od navijača sa sjeverne tribine. Prije svega sam Dinamov navijač. Dakle, prije nego što sam trener, ja sam navijač. Volim Dinamo od malena, cijeli život sam tu, tata me u ove prostorije doveo dok sam imao četiri godine. I želio sam biti trener Dinama, nije mi bilo važno kad. Samo da budem," dodao je nakon potpisa ugovora.

Jovićević je rođen u Zagrebu, a svojedobno je bio najbolji kadet Europe. Sa 17 godina, u ljeto 1991. godine, potpisao je ugovor s Real Madridom, ali je teška ozljeda križnih ligamenata zaustavila njegov igrački uspon. Nakon toga igrao je u Japanu, Brazilu, Francuskoj, Kini, Ukrajini te je završio igračku karijeru ponovno u Kini, s novom ozljedom koljena, u dobi od 32 godine.

Nakon umirovljenja počeo se je baviti trenerskim poslom. U lipnju 2014. godine postao je privremenim glavnim trenerom, a godinu dana kasnije i glavni trener u ukrajinskom Karpati Lavovu. U listopadu 2016. je preselio na klupu Celja, a 2017. se vratio u Maksimir. 

Od ljeta 2017. godine vodio je drugu maksimirsku momčad kao i juniore u Uefinoj Ligi prvaka mladih, gdje je plave dvaput uzastopno doveo do četvrtfinala. Ovogodišnji četvrtfinalni dvoboj protiv Benfice odgođen je zbog pandemije, a u međuvremenu je Jovićević preselio u udarni sastav.

Treneru Jovićeviću suradnici će kao članovi stručnog stožera prve momčadi biti pomoćni treneri Damir Krznar i Alen Peternac, trener vratara Sandro Žufić, kondicijski treneri Ivan Štefanić i Stipe Marina, analitičar Vedran Attias te team manager Marko Kuže.

Vodstvo hrvatskog nogometnog prvaka Dinama potvrdilo je Igora Jovićevića za novog trenera. Jovićević će za kormilom "modrih" naslijediti Nenada Bjelicu s kojim je klub prošlog tjedna raskinuo ugovor.

Najveći uspjeh u karijeri stigao mu je svega deset dana nakon velikog gubitka, smrti oca Čede Jovićevića koji je preminuo u 68. godini.

"Emocije su pomiješane. Roditelji mi znače jako puno, gubitak tate ostavio je velikoga traga, moram se s time suočiti, sjećanje na njega nikad neće izblijediti. Ponosan sam na njega, na sve što je učinio u karijeri i na sve što je dao Dinamu u tih 10 godina. On je moj heroj, moj idol, uvijek mi je bio parametar kako se treba ponašati i koji su putevi uspjeha," kazao je Jovićević koji je do sada uspješno vodio mladu momčad...
