Za neke je gledanje meča Tonija Kanaeta za olimpijsku medalju jednostavno bilo previše. Recimo za njegovu samozatajnu mamu Vedranu i stariju sestru Meritu koje uopće nisu ni gledale tu borbu!

- Puno je emocija u meni, sretne smo i ponosne, olakšanje je ogromno - uzbuđeno nam je pričala Merita koja nema običaj gledati bratove borbe.

- Ma kakvi, inače nikad ne gledam njegove mečeve. Pogledam ih tek kad dođe doma i kad smo sigurni da je sve u redu, da nema ozljeda. Onda svi zajedno gledamo. Preemotivno je. Tako je bilo i u borbi za broncu. Ni ja ni mama nismo je gledale. Tek kad su nam javili da je gotova, pogledale smo, jer iskreno srce bi mi otkazalo kolika je napetost bila! Malo sam plakala, pa šetala po kući, pa gledala nešto na laptopu... Okupirale smo si misli mama i ja čekajući tu zadnju borbu. Bio mi je to najduži dan u životu.

Sve je na kraju vrijedilo.

- Je, medalja ida kući. Sav Tonijev trud zadnjih 18 godina isplatio se i drago mi je što je ispunio životnu želju. Tek kad dođe doma, shvatit će što je napravio i to će mu biti vjetar u leđa za dalje - smatra Merita koja se i sama bavila taekwondoom u Marjanu.

- Jesam, ali Toni je bio ustrajniji od mene, haha.

Merita inače živi i radi u Zagrebu, ali je trenutno na godišnjem odmoru pa će s mamom u petak dočekati, izgrliti i izljubiti svog Tonija, ponosnog vlasnika olimpijske bronce.

Za neke je gledanje meča Tonija Kanaeta za olimpijsku medalju jednostavno bilo previše. Recimo za njegovu samozatajnu mamu Vedranu i stariju sestru Meritu koje uopće nisu ni gledale tu borbu!

- Puno je emocija u meni, sretne smo i ponosne, olakšanje je ogromno - uzbuđeno nam je pričala Merita koja nema običaj gledati bratove borbe.

- Ma kakvi, inače nikad ne gledam njegove mečeve. Pogledam ih tek kad dođe doma i kad smo sigurni da je sve u redu, da nema ozljeda. Onda svi zajedno gledamo. Preemotivno je. Tako je bilo i u borbi za broncu. Ni ja ni mama nismo je gledale. Tek kad su nam javili da je gotova, pogledale smo, jer iskreno srce bi mi otkazalo kolika je napetost bila! Malo sam plakala, pa šetala po kući, pa gledala nešto na laptopu... Okupirale smo si misli mama i ja čekajući tu zadnju borbu. Bio mi je to najduži dan u životu.

Sve je na kraju vrijedilo.

- Je, medalja ida kući. Sav Tonijev trud zadnjih 18 godina isplatio se i drago mi je što je ispunio životnu želju. Tek kad dođe doma, shvatit će što je napravio i to će mu biti vjetar u leđa za dalje - smatra Merita koja se i sama bavila taekwondoom u Marjanu.

- Jesam, ali Toni je bio ustrajniji od mene, haha.

Merita inače živi i radi u Zagrebu, ali je trenutno na godišnjem odmoru pa će s mamom u petak dočekati, izgrliti i izljubiti svog Tonija, ponosnog vlasnika olimpijske bronce.

Za neke je gledanje meča Tonija Kanaeta za olimpijsku medalju jednostavno bilo previše. Recimo za njegovu samozatajnu mamu Vedranu i stariju sestru Meritu koje uopće nisu ni gledale tu borbu!

- Puno je emocija u meni, sretne smo i ponosne, olakšanje je ogromno - uzbuđeno nam je pričala Merita koja nema običaj gledati bratove borbe.

- Ma kakvi, inače nikad ne gledam njegove mečeve. Pogledam ih tek kad dođe doma i kad smo sigurni da je sve u redu, da nema ozljeda. Onda svi zajedno gledamo. Preemotivno je. Tako je bilo i u borbi za broncu. Ni ja ni mama nismo je gledale. Tek kad su nam javili da je gotova, pogledale smo, jer iskreno srce bi mi otkazalo kolika je napetost bila! Malo sam plakala, pa šetala po kući, pa gledala nešto na laptopu... Okupirale smo si misli mama i ja čekajući...
