Uoči puta na Europsko prvenstvo u Lisabon razmišljale su pozitivno, sve dok im nije stigao – pozitivan test. Priča je to u kojoj su se našle Barbara Matić i Karla Prodan. Splitske judašice danas bi, vjerujemo, punile ove retke novim uspjesima, ali korona je rekla – ne može! Zlosretni virus ili, pak, netko drugi?
Dvije ponajbolje hrvatske judašice podijelile su istu sudbinu. Gorku, tužnu, frustrirajuću ... A ona glasi kako se nijedna nije ni zaputila prema portugalskoj prijestolnici. Karlin slučaj posebno je zamršen i neshvatljiv, a javila nam se kako bi nam pojasnila što se točno zbilo.
- Prije turnira morali smo priložiti dva negativna testa. Osjećala sam se odlično. Nisam ni slutila da bi moglo biti ikakvih problema. Moj prvi test bio je negativan, a onda šok. Drugi je bio pozitivan. Odmah sam napravila i treći, a on je opet bio negativan!
Simptoma, tvrdite, nemate niti ste ih imali?
- Ma, niti jednom nisam zakašljala. Baš ništa! – kune se 22-godišnjakinja.
Fama se, dakle, još jednom pokazala istinitom, a to je da testovi nisu stopostotno točni. No, greška je ovog puta skupo plaćena...
- Htjela sam se i četvrti put testirati kako bih imala dva negativna zaredom što je bio uvjet za nastup, ali već je bilo prekasno. U Savezu su pokušali učiniti nešto, ali rezultate nam nitko nije mogao dati toliko brzo. I tako – duboko je uzdahnula – ostala sam doma.
Dodatnoj konfuziji pridonosi činjenica da je Prodan već preboljela koronavirus u prosincu prošle godine.
- Test je također pokazao da imam razvijena antitijela, tako da je onaj pozitivni sigurno lažan – uvjerena je Karla koja je ostala bez prilike za obranu bronce osvojene na lanjskom Euru u Pragu.
Da razjasnimo, jeste li onda u izolaciji ili niste?
- Nisam jer je zadnji test bio negativan – poručila je jasno i glasno.
Ne trebamo ni pitati je li vam žao...
- Ma, strašno. Baš sam htjela tu medalju s Europskog prvenstva. Trenutno sam u top formi, ali što mi vrijedi kad se s koronom više ne zna ni ‘ko pije, ni ‘ko plaća – razočarana je Prodan.
Vremena za veliku tugu nema. Judaški kalendar prepun je natjecanja, a već početkom svibnja na rasporedu je Grand Slam u ruskom Kazanu. U lipnju je Svjetsko prvenstvo u Budimpešti, a bliži se i Tokio...
Koliko vas je ovakav rasplet poremetio?
- Nije previše. Zdrava sam i ne osjećam nikakve simptome, pa mogu trenirati. Nastavljam naporno raditi kako bi spremna dočekala nove turnire – poručila je za kraj.
Kod Barbare Matić kontroverza nema - sve je jasno k’o dan. Javila nam se iako, kaže, nešto “ćuti”.
- I ja sam dan prije puta u Lisabon dobila pozitivan test. Također sam bila šokirana jer u početku nisam osjećala nikakve simptome. Nije mi bilo jasno kako, ni od koga sam je “skupila” – počinje Barbara svoju korona-štoriju.
No, u njenom je slučaju, čini se, test ipak bio u pravu.
- Nakon dan-dva sam počela malo kašljati, a onda je došla i temperatura. Sve u svemu, ništa strašno, ali opet sve to poremeti čovjeka. Moram 10 dana biti u izolaciji.
Koliko će vas ova pauza usporiti? Bliže se Igre, Svjetsko prvenstvo...
- Iz kluba su mi donijeli neke stvari za trening. Pokušala sam, ali jednostavno ne mogu dok fibra malo ne padne – priznaje Matić.
- Treba odmoriti, nema druge. No, onda razmišljam, bolje da mi se ovo dogodilo sada, ako se već moralo dogoditi, nego prije Olimpijskih igara. To bi tek bila još veća šteta. Čim ovo prođe nastavit ću trenirati. Nadam se da ću biti spremna već za Grand Slam u Kazanu, a ako ne to, onda barem za Svjetsko prvenstvo.
Kako se borite s virusom?
- Klasika: med, limun, čaj. Vitamin C, a čula sam da pomaže vitamin D i cink, tako da sam i to počela uzimati. Podsjetimo, Barbara je proglašena najboljom u ženskoj konkurenciji u izboru Slobodne za Sportsko ime Dalmacije, a dobitnica je i nagrade Sportskih novosti za sportašicu godine
Zanimalo nas je i čime krati dane u izolaciji. Teško je “zatvoriti” sportaša, nekoga tko je cijeli dan u pokretu...
- Živim sama u stanu, tako da su svi moji sigurni. A što se vremena tiče, sad su mi najzabavnije puzle haha – vratila se 26-godišnjakinja u djetinjstvo.
- Taman mi je susjed donio veliku kutiju, ostavio ispred vrata i odmah pobjegao. Svi se paze, ali neka, tako i treba. A kada dosade puzle, tu je Netflix, more serija i filmova, uvijek se nešto nađe – priča nam simpatična Barbara.
Splitske judašice ostale su tako bez nastupa na Europskom prvenstvu. Korona ih je spriječila da sjajnu formu ponesu u Lisabon, ali ništa za to. Žao im je, slažu se obje, no vremena za tugu nema. Pred djevojkama su novi turniri, a onda i konačni cilj ovog ljeta – nastup u Tokiju. Vjerujemo kako će naš sljedeći razgovor biti o novim medaljama, novim uspjesima kojima će dodatno ucrtati Hrvatsku na mapi svjetskog juda.

Uoči puta na Europsko prvenstvo u Lisabon razmišljale su pozitivno, sve dok im nije stigao – pozitivan test. Priča je to u kojoj su se našle Barbara Matić i Karla Prodan. Splitske judašice danas bi, vjerujemo, punile ove retke novim uspjesima, ali korona je rekla – ne može! Zlosretni virus ili, pak, netko drugi?
Dvije ponajbolje hrvatske judašice podijelile su istu sudbinu. Gorku, tužnu, frustrirajuću ... A ona glasi kako se nijedna nije ni zaputila prema portugalskoj prijestolnici. Karlin slučaj posebno je zamršen i neshvatljiv, a javila nam se kako bi nam pojasnila što se točno zbilo.
- Prije turnira morali smo priložiti dva negativna testa. Osjećala sam se odlično. Nisam ni slutila da bi moglo biti ikakvih problema. Moj prvi test bio je negativan, a onda šok. Drugi je bio pozitivan. Odmah sam napravila i treći, a on je opet bio negativan!
Simptoma, tvrdite, nemate niti ste ih imali?
- Ma, niti jednom nisam zakašljala. Baš ništa! – kune se 22-godišnjakinja.
Fama se, dakle, još jednom pokazala istinitom, a to je da testovi nisu stopostotno točni. No, greška je ovog puta skupo plaćena...
- Htjela sam se i četvrti put testirati kako bih imala dva negativna zaredom što je bio uvjet za nastup, ali već je bilo prekasno. U Savezu su pokušali učiniti nešto, ali rezultate nam nitko nije mogao dati toliko brzo. I tako – duboko je uzdahnula – ostala sam doma.
Dodatnoj konfuziji pridonosi činjenica da je Prodan već preboljela koronavirus u prosincu prošle godine.
- Test je također pokazao da imam razvijena antitijela, tako da je onaj pozitivni sigurno lažan – uvjerena je Karla koja je ostala bez prilike za obranu bronce osvojene na lanjskom Euru u Pragu.
Da razjasnimo, jeste li onda u izolaciji ili niste?
- Nisam jer je zadnji test bio negativan – poručila je jasno i glasno.
Ne trebamo ni pitati je li vam žao...
- Ma, strašno. Baš sam htjela tu medalju s Europskog prvenstva. Trenutno sam u top formi, ali što mi vrijedi kad se s koronom više ne zna ni ‘ko pije, ni ‘ko plaća – razočarana je Prodan.
Vremena za veliku tugu nema. Judaški kalendar prepun je natjecanja, a već početkom svibnja na rasporedu je Grand Slam u ruskom Kazanu. U lipnju je Svjetsko prvenstvo u Budimpešti, a bliži se i Tokio...
Koliko vas je ovakav rasplet poremetio?
- Nije previše. Zdrava sam i ne osjećam nikakve simptome, pa mogu trenirati. Nastavljam naporno raditi kako bi spremna dočekala nove turnire – poručila je za kraj.
Kod Barbare Matić kontroverza nema - sve je jasno k’o dan. Javila nam se iako, kaže, nešto “ćuti”.
- I ja sam dan prije puta u Lisabon dobila pozitivan test. Također sam bila šokirana jer u početku nisam osjećala nikakve simptome. Nije mi bilo jasno kako, ni od koga sam je “skupila” – počinje Barbara svoju korona-štoriju.
No, u njenom je slučaju, čini se, test ipak bio u pravu.
- Nakon dan-dva sam počela malo kašljati, a onda je došla i temperatura. Sve u svemu, ništa strašno, ali opet sve to poremeti čovjeka. Moram 10 dana biti u izolaciji.
Koliko će vas ova pauza usporiti? Bliže se Igre, Svjetsko prvenstvo...
- Iz kluba su mi donijeli neke stvari za trening. Pokušala sam, ali jednostavno ne mogu dok fibra malo ne padne – priznaje Matić.
- Treba odmoriti, nema druge. No, onda razmišljam, bolje da mi se ovo dogodilo sada, ako se već moralo dogoditi, nego prije Olimpijskih igara. To bi tek bila još veća šteta. Čim ovo prođe nastavit ću trenirati. Nadam se da ću biti spremna već za Grand Slam u Kazanu, a ako ne to, onda barem za Svjetsko prvenstvo.
Kako se borite s virusom?
- Klasika: med, limun, čaj. Vitamin C, a čula sam da pomaže vitamin D i cink, tako da sam i to počela uzimati. Podsjetimo, Barbara je proglašena najboljom u ženskoj konkurenciji u izboru Slobodne za Sportsko ime Dalmacije, a dobitnica je i nagrade Sportskih novosti za sportašicu godine
Zanimalo nas je i čime krati dane u izolaciji. Teško je “zatvoriti” sportaša, nekoga tko je cijeli dan u pokretu...
- Živim sama u stanu, tako da su svi moji sigurni. A što se vremena tiče, sad su mi najzabavnije puzle haha – vratila se 26-godišnjakinja u djetinjstvo.
- Taman mi je susjed donio veliku kutiju, ostavio ispred vrata i odmah pobjegao. Svi se paze, ali neka, tako i treba. A kada dosade puzle, tu je Netflix, more serija i filmova, uvijek se nešto nađe – priča nam simpatična Barbara.
Splitske judašice ostale su tako bez nastupa na Europskom prvenstvu. Korona ih je spriječila da sjajnu formu ponesu u Lisabon, ali ništa za to. Žao im je, slažu se obje, no vremena za tugu nema. Pred djevojkama su novi turniri, a onda i konačni cilj ovog ljeta – nastup u Tokiju. Vjerujemo kako će naš sljedeći razgovor biti o novim medaljama, novim uspjesima kojima će dodatno ucrtati Hrvatsku na mapi svjetskog juda.
