U strahu su velike oči pa ne čudi da se i brojni Splićani posljednjih dana uznemireno pitaju što se to opet događa u Kini, kakva je to misteriozna upala pluća koja je zdravstvene ustanove napučila bolesnom djecom. Priprema li se nova pandemija, što bi moglo stajati iza alarmantne kineske situacije koja je na traženje odgovora navela i WHO organizaciju? Nelagoda je razumljiva nakon korona doba koje je krenulo upravo iz kineskih pokrajina. Kod nas se, doznajemo na Klinici za infektologiju KBC-a Split, ne događa ništa neuobičajeno.

Što se događa u Kini: zavladala je opća panika, bolnice pune, pojavila se misteriozna upala pluća. Hoće li se proširiti?

- Nismo primijetili neobične respiratorne infekcije ili veću učestalost upala pluća, makar ne onih koje bi zahtijevale hospitalizaciju. Već nekoliko mjeseci imamo epidemiju hripavca, ali, srećom, zasad bez teških oblika bolesti. U Hitnom infektološkom prijemu ne bilježimo ništa što bi iskakalo iz standardne situacije. Imamo uobičajeno opterećenje respiratornim infekcijama, očekivano s obzirom na hladnije razdoblje godine, za mjesec studeni.

O onome što se u Kini događa nemamo relevantne podatke. Teško je za sada o tome govoriti. No činjenica je da su kod nas preklani i lani nakon popuštanja COVID mjera uslijedili vrlo intenzivna sezona gripe i veći broj adenovirusnih pneumonija u djece i odraslih, te RSV-a kao uzročnika bronhiolitisa u dojenčadi i male djece. Koliko je poznato, u Kini su COVID mjere ipak popustile kasnije – veli pročelnica Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja.

Kina nije daleko

Nelagodu dodatno potpiruju snimke iz kineskih bolničkih ustanova na kojima se vidi mnoštvo ljudi pod maskama. Njihovi zdravstveni djelatnici upravo i sugeriraju njihovo nošenje, te ostanak u kući kao jedan od načina zaustavljanja daljnjeg širenja bolesti. U raspravu se uključuju i kolege iz svijeta od kojih mnogi drže kako Kinu pogađa veća pojavnost gripa i adenovirusa, učestalih u brojnim zemljama nakon popuštanja COVID mjera.

Bez obzira na te umirujuće poruke, diljem svijeta se isto tako prate sve potankosti vezane uz novi problem s istoka. Jer znate kako se kaže: "Kada u Kini leptir zamaše krilima, na zapadu se događa oluja". Mnogi u to nisu vjerovali. Sve dok se nije dogodio COVID.

U strahu su velike oči pa ne čudi da se i brojni Splićani posljednjih dana uznemireno pitaju što se to opet događa u Kini, kakva je to misteriozna upala pluća koja je zdravstvene ustanove napučila bolesnom djecom. Priprema li se nova pandemija, što bi moglo stajati iza alarmantne kineske situacije koja je na traženje odgovora navela i WHO organizaciju? Nelagoda je razumljiva nakon korona doba koje je krenulo upravo iz kineskih pokrajina. Kod nas se, doznajemo na Klinici za infektologiju KBC-a Split, ne događa ništa neuobičajeno.

Što se događa u Kini: zavladala je opća panika, bolnice pune, pojavila se misteriozna upala pluća. Hoće li se proširiti?

- Nismo primijetili neobične respiratorne infekcije ili veću učestalost upala pluća, makar ne onih koje bi zahtijevale hospitalizaciju. Već nekoliko mjeseci imamo epidemiju hripavca, ali, srećom, zasad bez teških oblika bolesti. U Hitnom infektološkom prijemu ne bilježimo ništa što bi iskakalo iz standardne situacije. Imamo uobičajeno opterećenje respiratornim infekcijama, očekivano s obzirom na hladnije razdoblje godine, za mjesec studeni.

O onome što se u Kini događa nemamo relevantne podatke. Teško je za sada o tome govoriti. No činjenica je da su kod nas preklani i lani nakon popuštanja COVID mjera uslijedili vrlo intenzivna sezona gripe i veći broj adenovirusnih pneumonija u djece i odraslih, te RSV-a kao uzročnika bronhiolitisa u dojenčadi i male djece. Koliko je poznato, u Kini su COVID mjere ipak popustile kasnije – veli pročelnica Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split doc. dr. sc. Mirela Pavičić Ivelja.

Kina nije daleko

Nelagodu dodatno potpiruju snimke iz kineskih bolničkih ustanova na kojima se vidi mnoštvo ljudi pod maskama. Njihovi zdravstveni djelatnici upravo i sugeriraju njihovo nošenje, te ostanak u kući kao jedan od načina zaustavljanja daljnjeg širenja bolesti. U raspravu se uključuju i kolege iz svijeta od kojih mnogi drže kako Kinu pogađa veća pojavnost gripa i adenovirusa, učestalih u brojnim zemljama nakon popuštanja COVID mjera.

Bez obzira na te umirujuće poruke, diljem svijeta se isto tako prate sve potankosti vezane uz novi problem s istoka. Jer znate kako se kaže: "Kada u Kini leptir zamaše krilima, na zapadu se događa oluja". Mnogi u to nisu vjerovali. Sve dok se nije dogodio COVID.
