Dok 1995. nije izgrađen kolektor otpadnih voda, splitsko je more bilo čista, bolje reći, šporka katastrofa. Premda su plaže i tada bile pune. Šta će ljudi, negdi se moraju kupat. Kanalizacija cijelog grada slijevala se u gradsku luku, a otamo polako prelijevala na jednu i drugu stranu obale, ravno na kupališta na južnoj strani grada. Sjeverna strana Marjana imala je svoju pokoru, najprljavija zamisliva industrija točila je u Kaštelanski zaljev redom odvratnosti: otpad iz tvornice plastičnih masa, cementare, željezare, brodogradilišta, fabrike azbesta, klaonice, plus fekalije iz Kaštela. Kao da je to malo, u Kaštel Sućurac dovožena je radioaktivna šljaka iz cijele Jugoslavije, koja do danas nije propisno sanirana.

Danas je zagađivača puno manje, ali nije da ih nema. Primjerice, Udruga koja se bavi svojim pravima na zemljište na Marjanu upozorila je na kršenje Zakona o zaštiti prirode koji brani da se uz obalu peru plovila. Svi znamo kako se u lučicama brusi, pituraje, peru motori, tijela brodova premazuju različitim kemikalijama. Mikroplastike koliko hoćeš. Redovito se, nakon posla, plato lučice ispere gumom – u more. Pranje brodova koje brani državni propis je u usporedbi s ovim gotovo neznatno zagađenje.

Na Marjanu su lučice u obuhvatu dodatno zaštićenog područja Park-šume Marjan, što bi značilo da zagađenje treba svesti na najmanji mogući minimum, uz redovnu kontrolu. Tim prije što se oko marjanskih lučica, a riječ je o lučici Spinut sa sjeverne i lučici Jadran s južne strane, prostire čitav niz plaža na kojima se kupaju građani i turisti. Primjerice, oko sjeverne marjanske lučice su stara kupališta Spinućana, ali i ostalih građana koji vole tradiciju: Mornar, Šore, Gusar, Prva voda... U blizini su i tri sportske lučice: Poljud, Mornar i Marjan, koje nisu u obuhvatu Park-šume. Ima Split još dvije velike marine: ACI-jeva u uvali Baluni i Zenta.

Samo fekalije

Malo smo porazgovarali sa strukom; kažu ima tu svega što bi moglo smetati morskim organizmima, pa i čovjeku. Benzenovi spojevi, na primjer, pa ulja, mikroplastika, a kažu nam kako se i dvadeset godina nakon zabrane korištenja može pronaći kositar iz protuobraštajne boje, poznatijeg kao intonak. U Nastavnom zavodu, koji redovito uzorkuje more na plažama u sezoni, analiziraju samo fekalne opasnosti, enterokoke i Escherichiju coli, a jedini nezadovoljavajući rezultat u cijelog županiji u rujnu bio je baš na Gusara.

U županijskoj Lučkoj upravi doznali smo kako se more u lučicama – ne analizira. U Javnoj ustanovi park-šume Marjan dodali su kako nisu nadzirali jer – nisu imali čuvara. Iz kluba Jadran, koncesionara lučice na Zvončacu, kažu kako su svjesni problema i sljedeće bi godine trebali izgraditi taložnicu na operativnom platou. Barem netko da je svjestan. Jer razloga za pravu brigu nema. Jasno je kako more u lučicama nije za kupanje, jasno je i zbog čega, a more je vražje, pa sve otpluta vanka lučica. No možemo biti mirni: ne analizira se, pa se i ne zna. Slična stvar kao na Brdima, tek kad se počelo analizirati, našlo se u zraku krcato arsena i drugih otrova. Onda je bolje mučat.

Dok 1995. nije izgrađen kolektor otpadnih voda, splitsko je more bilo čista, bolje reći, šporka katastrofa. Premda su plaže i tada bile pune. Šta će ljudi, negdi se moraju kupat. Kanalizacija cijelog grada slijevala se u gradsku luku, a otamo polako prelijevala na jednu i drugu stranu obale, ravno na kupališta na južnoj strani grada. Sjeverna strana Marjana imala je svoju pokoru, najprljavija zamisliva industrija točila je u Kaštelanski zaljev redom odvratnosti: otpad iz tvornice plastičnih masa, cementare, željezare, brodogradilišta, fabrike azbesta, klaonice, plus fekalije iz Kaštela. Kao da je to malo, u Kaštel Sućurac dovožena je radioaktivna šljaka iz cijele Jugoslavije, koja do danas nije propisno sanirana.

Danas je zagađivača puno manje, ali nije da ih nema. Primjerice, Udruga koja se bavi svojim pravima na zemljište na Marjanu upozorila je na kršenje Zakona o zaštiti prirode koji brani da se uz obalu peru plovila. Svi znamo kako se u lučicama brusi, pituraje, peru motori, tijela brodova premazuju različitim kemikalijama. Mikroplastike koliko hoćeš. Redovito se, nakon posla, plato lučice ispere gumom – u more. Pranje brodova koje brani državni propis je u usporedbi s ovim gotovo neznatno zagađenje.

Na Marjanu su lučice u obuhvatu dodatno zaštićenog područja Park-šume Marjan, što bi značilo da zagađenje treba svesti na najmanji mogući minimum, uz redovnu kontrolu. Tim prije što se oko marjanskih lučica, a riječ je o lučici Spinut sa sjeverne i lučici Jadran s južne strane, prostire čitav niz plaža na kojima se kupaju građani i turisti. Primjerice, oko sjeverne marjanske lučice su stara kupališta Spinućana, ali i ostalih građana koji vole tradiciju: Mornar, Šore, Gusar, Prva voda... U blizini su i tri sportske lučice: Poljud, Mornar i Marjan, koje nisu u obuhvatu Park-šume. Ima Split još dvije velike marine: ACI-jeva u uvali Baluni i Zenta.

Malo smo porazgovarali sa strukom; kažu ima tu svega što bi moglo smetati morskim organizmima, pa i čovjeku. Benzenovi spojevi, na primjer, pa ulja, mikroplastika, a kažu nam kako se i dvadeset godina nakon zabrane korištenja može pronaći kositar iz protuobraštajne boje, poznatijeg kao intonak. U Nastavnom zavodu, koji redovito uzorkuje more na plažama u sezoni, analiziraju samo fekalne opasnosti, enterokoke i Escherichiju coli, a jedini nezadovoljavajući rezultat u cijelog županiji u rujnu bio je baš na Gusara.

U županijskoj Lučkoj upravi doznali smo kako se more u lučicama – ne analizira. U Javnoj ustanovi park-šume Marjan dodali su kako nisu nadzirali jer – nisu imali čuvara. Iz kluba Jadran, koncesionara lučice na Zvončacu, kažu kako su svjesni problema i sljedeće bi godine trebali izgraditi taložnicu na operativnom platou. Barem netko da je svjestan. Jer razloga za pravu brigu nema. Jasno je kako more u lučicama nije za kupanje, jasno je i zbog čega, a more je vražje, pa sve otpluta vanka lučica. No možemo biti mirni: ne analizira se, pa se i ne zna. Slična stvar kao na Brdima, tek kad se počelo analizirati, našlo se u zraku krcato arsena i drugih otrova. Onda je bolje mučat.

Dok 1995. nije izgrađen kolektor otpadnih voda, splitsko je more bilo čista, bolje reći, šporka katastrofa. Premda su plaže i tada bile pune. Šta će ljudi, negdi se moraju kupat. Kanalizacija cijelog grada slijevala se u gradsku luku, a otamo polako prelijevala na jednu i drugu stranu obale, ravno na kupališta na južnoj strani grada. Sjeverna strana Marjana imala je svoju pokoru, najprljavija zamisliva industrija točila je u Kaštelanski zaljev redom odvratnosti: otpad iz tvornice plastičnih masa, cementare, željezare, brodogradilišta, fabrike azbesta, klaonice, plus fekalije iz Kaštela. Kao da je to malo, u Kaštel Sućurac dovožena je radioaktivna šljaka iz cijele Jugoslavije, koja do danas nije propisno sanirana.

Danas je zagađivača puno manje, ali nije da ih nema. Primjerice, Udruga koja se bavi svojim pravima na zemljište na Marjanu upozorila je na kršenje Zakona o zaštiti prirode koji brani da se uz obalu peru plovila. Svi znamo kako se u lučicama brusi, pituraje, peru motori, tijela brodova premazuju različitim kemikalijama. Mikroplastike koliko hoćeš. Redovito se, nakon posla, plato lučice ispere gumom – u more. Pranje brodova koje brani državni propis je u usporedbi s ovim gotovo neznatno zagađenje.

Na Marjanu su lučice u obuhvatu dodatno zaštićenog područja Park-šume Marjan, što bi značilo da zagađenje treba svesti na najmanji mogući minimum, uz redovnu kontrolu. Tim prije što se oko marjanskih lučica, a riječ je o lučici Spinut sa sjeverne i lučici Jadran s južne strane, prostire čitav niz plaža na kojima se kupaju građani i turisti. Primjerice, oko sjeverne marjanske lučice su stara kupališta Spinućana, ali i ostalih građana koji vole tradiciju: Mornar, Šore, Gusar, Prva voda... U blizini su i tri sportske lučice: Poljud, Mornar i Marjan, koje nisu u obuhvatu Park-šume. Ima Split još dvije velike marine: ACI-jeva u uvali Baluni i Zenta.
