Znaš da idem na put, kaže mi prijateljica (znam; s obzirom na afričku destinaciju, zavidim joj otkako mi je rekla di putuje), i slušaj, kaže, šta mi se dogodilo!

Morala sam produžit putovnicu, sve sam dokumente pripremila, i kako mi je auto na popravku, krenem taksijem. Pljušti, ali do ulaza u u zgradu Policijske uprave - ispred koje je, usput rečeno, jedno veliko jezero - stignem relativno suha.

Uzmem broj i procijenim da ću, dok ne dođem na red, stići nešto obavit na pošti, tamo kraj dječjeg dispanzera. Do tamo put vodi preko onoga velikog parkirališta - a parkiralište pod vodom!

Gledam kako ugazit na komadić suhog tla, al toga nema. I nemam izbora nego zagazit u vodu, a ne možeš vidjet koliko je duboko dok ne ugaziš. Pa saznam da je duboko do gležnja. Držim kišobran, nosi mi ga vjetar, kisnem, patike pune vode, tražim je li moguće izać iz tog jezera, a nemam puno vremena, moram stić na red na šalteru za pasoše.

Gledam - parking ogroman, prepun auta, vidim da drugi ljudi ko i ja šljapkaju okolo u vodi do gležnjeva jer nemaju drugu opciju ni za uć u auto ni za izać iz auta. I pitam se - je li gradonačelnik Puljak ikad vidio ovaj grad kad padne kiša, zna li on za parkiralište po kojem ljudi skaču ko zečevi u nemogućoj misiji da se s njega nekako izvuku suhih cipela?

Bijes me neki uhvatio onako mokru, slijepljene kose, skroz pokislu, patika punih vode. Al dobro, odem takva na poštu, napravim što sam imala i preko tog istog parkirališta - jer za okružiti ga više namam vremena - krenem natrag, kroz jezero, sad hodajući kao da vode i nema. Dođem na šalter, mislleći da je bar ta priča okončana, ali, naravno, nije. Znate ono kad sve papire nabavite, al jedan uvijek fali? E, taj papir je bila fotografija - službenica mi kaže da je već previše stara. I da moram napravit novu.

Dobro - rekla sam samo naizgled mirno. Takva - bijesna, mokra, slijepljena, smrznuta, jutros samo što sam se umila, krenem se slikat u foto-radnju preko puta. Put je, jasno, vodio preko goleme lokve. Al meni je bilo svejedno. Pa neće mi patike slikat. I tako, eto... Na put idem s novom slikom. Prelazit ću granice strepeći hoće li mi vjerovat da sam to na slici ja.

Znaš da idem na put, kaže mi prijateljica (znam; s obzirom na afričku destinaciju, zavidim joj otkako mi je rekla di putuje), i slušaj, kaže, šta mi se dogodilo!

Morala sam produžit putovnicu, sve sam dokumente pripremila, i kako mi je auto na popravku, krenem taksijem. Pljušti, ali do ulaza u u zgradu Policijske uprave - ispred koje je, usput rečeno, jedno veliko jezero - stignem relativno suha.

Uzmem broj i procijenim da ću, dok ne dođem na red, stići nešto obavit na pošti, tamo kraj dječjeg dispanzera. Do tamo put vodi preko onoga velikog parkirališta - a parkiralište pod vodom!

Gledam kako ugazit na komadić suhog tla, al toga nema. I nemam izbora nego zagazit u vodu, a ne možeš vidjet koliko je duboko dok ne ugaziš. Pa saznam da je duboko do gležnja. Držim kišobran, nosi mi ga vjetar, kisnem, patike pune vode, tražim je li moguće izać iz tog jezera, a nemam puno vremena, moram stić na red na šalteru za pasoše.

Gledam - parking ogroman, prepun auta, vidim da drugi ljudi ko i ja šljapkaju okolo u vodi do gležnjeva jer nemaju drugu opciju ni za uć u auto ni za izać iz auta. I pitam se - je li gradonačelnik Puljak ikad vidio ovaj grad kad padne kiša, zna li on za parkiralište po kojem ljudi skaču ko zečevi u nemogućoj misiji da se s njega nekako izvuku suhih cipela?

Bijes me neki uhvatio onako mokru, slijepljene kose, skroz pokislu, patika punih vode. Al dobro, odem takva na poštu, napravim što sam imala i preko tog istog parkirališta - jer za okružiti ga više namam vremena - krenem natrag, kroz jezero, sad hodajući kao da vode i nema. Dođem na šalter, mislleći da je bar ta priča okončana, ali, naravno, nije. Znate ono kad sve papire nabavite, al jedan uvijek fali? E, taj papir je bila fotografija - službenica mi kaže da je već previše stara. I da moram napravit novu.

Dobro - rekla sam samo naizgled mirno. Takva - bijesna, mokra, slijepljena, smrznuta, jutros samo što sam se umila, krenem se slikat u foto-radnju preko puta. Put je, jasno, vodio preko goleme lokve. Al meni je bilo svejedno. Pa neće mi patike slikat. I tako, eto... Na put idem s novom slikom. Prelazit ću granice strepeći hoće li mi vjerovat da sam to na slici ja.
