Iako je najavljeno da ćemo za fjeru svetoga Duje, najvažniji dan u našem gradu, ugledati uređenu i dovršenu drugu stranu Istočne obale na potezu od Pothodnika do Autobusnoga kolodvora, ona još uvijek nije poprimila oblik prohodne šetnice. Još je uvijek u fazi radova. Polako, ali sigurno.
Razrovano zemljište i prašnjavo žalo – trenutno je stanje, uz naglasak da se asfaltirao samo početni dio šetnice na ulazu u Pothodnik.

Nakon što su se uklonile sve ilegalne trafike na tom području i betonska površina pod njima također se demolirala, a za njeno uređenje bilo je velikih planova. Prvo je šetnicu trebao prekriti kamen, no do njega je bilo teško doći. Zapelo je negdje u nabavi pa su se iz Grada odlučili na jeftiniju opciju – dekorativni beton. Time bi i uštedjeli koju kunu.

Nedugo nakon toga otpala je i ta opcija. Pa smo stoga došli do, definitivno, najjeftinije opcije – zalit sve asfaltom. Situaciju je zakomplicirala ostavka bivše vlasti, zbog čega je na čelo Grada došla Mirna Veža, Vladina povjerenica, koja ima ograničene ovlasti i financijska sredstva s kojima može raspolagati.
Pazar, doduše, napreduje mnogo brže od Istočne obale. Asfalt se davno osušio, štandovi su formirani, izuzev još nekih koji se trebaju prekriti ceradama i rolo vratima. Jedino što još dijeli prodavače, odnosno zakupce iz Hrvoje, da se vrate prodavačkoj djelatnosti je usmena licitacija na kojoj će se nadmetati za svoje prostore. Zakupaca iz Hrvojeve ima 67, a isti će broj štandova biti postavljen na terenu pet.

Sve u svemu, nadamo se da radovi neće zakoračiti u preduboku sezonu jer je, kako svi znamo, trajektna luka tradiciolna splitska štacija za čepove i prometne kolapse.

Nakon što su se uklonile sve ilegalne trafike na tom području i betonska površina pod njima također se demolirala, a za njeno uređenje bilo je velikih planova. Prvo je šetnicu trebao prekriti kamen, no do njega je bilo teško doći. Zapelo je negdje u nabavi pa su se iz Grada odlučili na jeftiniju opciju – dekorativni beton. Time bi i uštedjeli koju kunu.

Nedugo nakon toga otpala je i ta opcija. Pa smo stoga došli do, definitivno, najjeftinije opcije – zalit sve asfaltom. Situaciju je zakomplicirala ostavka bivše vlasti, zbog čega je na čelo Grada došla Mirna Veža, Vladina povjerenica, koja ima ograničene ovlasti i financijska sredstva s kojima može raspolagati.
Pazar, doduše, napreduje mnogo brže od Istočne obale. Asfalt se davno osušio, štandovi su formirani, izuzev još nekih koji se trebaju prekriti ceradama i rolo vratima. Jedino što još dijeli prodavače, odnosno zakupce iz Hrvoje, da se vrate prodavačkoj djelatnosti je usmena licitacija na kojoj će se nadmetati za svoje prostore. Zakupaca iz Hrvojeve ima 67, a isti će broj štandova biti postavljen na terenu pet.

Sve u svemu, nadamo se da radovi neće zakoračiti u preduboku sezonu jer je, kako svi znamo, trajektna luka tradiciolna splitska štacija za čepove i prometne kolapse.
