Ono što je prije 20-ak dana bilo u Kini, kada su svjetske novinske agencije izvještavale kako u kineskim bolnicama ima veliki broj slučajeva, u kojima djeca, ali i stariji imaju upale pluća, moguće se sada događa i kod nas.
Naime, trećina oboljele djece u splitskim pedijatrijskim ordinacijama, u zadnjih nekoliko tjedana ima simptome bronhitisa ili upale pluća, a u jednoj splitskoj ordinaciji, kako doznajemo, u petak je čak kod 30-ak mališana utvrđena atipična (virusna) upala pluća. To je velika brojka, ako se zna da dnevno kroz jednu pedijatrijsku ordinaciju, u zimskim mjesecima, u prosjeku "prođe" 100-tinjak djece.

Da se roditelji ne bi prepali, važno je istaknuti kako se ne radi o novim virusima, koji sada, eto napadaju svijet, već se radi o starim virusima koji su se nakon pandemije koronavirusa vratili među nas. Sada, u ovom trenutku, među populacijom ima puno rinovirusa, parainfluenza virusa, adeno virusa...
Sada je umnogome olakšana sama dijagnostika i utvrđivanje pravog oboljenja jer postoji brza dijagnostika, pa kada je klinička slika teška, obavi se PCR testiranje na respiratorne viruse.
Prvi simptom da bi dijete moglo imati upalu pluća je kašalj, koji je "težak" i ne prolazi i različit je od sveprisutnog hripavca, a može se pojaviti i bez povišene temperature.

Kako bi liječnik utvrdio radi li se zaista o upali pluća potrebno je "poslušati" dijete stetoskopom. Ukoliko se utvrdi upala pluća daje se antibiotska terapija (iako se radi o virusnoj upali), kako se na oslabljenom dječjem organizmu ne bi razvila bakterijska upala pluća.

Roditelji koji danima sumnjaju na hripavac zbog toga što se posvuda proširio, nisu ni svjesni da bi u "pozadini" mogla biti upala pluća, na koju uopće ne sumnjaju, jer je upala pluća jedna od mogućih komplikacija hripavca.
Zašto se ova upala pluća zove atipična?
Iz prostog razloga jer je uglavnom uzrokovana virusima i zbog toga što klinička slika nije tipična za upalu pluća, kod neke djece bude prisutan kašalj, a kod neke ne.
Ako liječnik kliničkim pregledom nije ustanovio upalu pluća, tada je dijete potrebno poslati na RTG snimanje ili vađenje krvne slike. Zbog svega ovoga se djecu i cijepi protiv hripavca.

Ono što je prije 20-ak dana bilo u Kini, kada su svjetske novinske agencije izvještavale kako u kineskim bolnicama ima veliki broj slučajeva, u kojima djeca, ali i stariji imaju upale pluća, moguće se sada događa i kod nas.
Naime, trećina oboljele djece u splitskim pedijatrijskim ordinacijama, u zadnjih nekoliko tjedana ima simptome bronhitisa ili upale pluća, a u jednoj splitskoj ordinaciji, kako doznajemo, u petak je čak kod 30-ak mališana utvrđena atipična (virusna) upala pluća. To je velika brojka, ako se zna da dnevno kroz jednu pedijatrijsku ordinaciju, u zimskim mjesecima, u prosjeku "prođe" 100-tinjak djece.

Da se roditelji ne bi prepali, važno je istaknuti kako se ne radi o novim virusima, koji sada, eto napadaju svijet, već se radi o starim virusima koji su se nakon pandemije koronavirusa vratili među nas. Sada, u ovom trenutku, među populacijom ima puno rinovirusa, parainfluenza virusa, adeno virusa...
Sada je umnogome olakšana sama dijagnostika i utvrđivanje pravog oboljenja jer postoji brza dijagnostika, pa kada je klinička slika teška, obavi se PCR testiranje na respiratorne viruse.
Prvi simptom da bi dijete moglo imati upalu pluća je kašalj, koji je "težak" i ne prolazi i različit je od sveprisutnog hripavca, a može se pojaviti i bez povišene temperature.

Kako bi liječnik utvrdio radi li se zaista o upali pluća potrebno je "poslušati" dijete stetoskopom. Ukoliko se utvrdi upala pluća daje se antibiotska terapija (iako se radi o virusnoj upali), kako se na oslabljenom dječjem organizmu ne bi razvila bakterijska upala pluća.

Roditelji koji danima sumnjaju na hripavac zbog toga što se posvuda proširio, nisu ni svjesni da bi u "pozadini" mogla biti upala pluća, na koju uopće ne sumnjaju, jer je upala pluća jedna od mogućih komplikacija hripavca.
Zašto se ova upala pluća zove atipična?
Iz prostog razloga jer je uglavnom uzrokovana virusima i zbog toga što klinička slika nije tipična za upalu pluća, kod neke djece bude prisutan kašalj, a kod neke ne.
Ako liječnik kliničkim pregledom nije ustanovio upalu pluća, tada je dijete potrebno poslati na RTG snimanje ili vađenje krvne slike. Zbog svega ovoga se djecu i cijepi protiv hripavca.
