Predstojnik Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split dr. Ivo Ivić izjavio je u srijedu kako su u tu kliniku u zadnja dva dana primljena 32 covid pozitivna pacijenta te je popunjeno pola bolničkih kapaciteta, a poručio je i da će, nastavi li se takav trend prijema bolesnika, bolnica za desetak dana biti popunjena.
Pojasnio je i kako trenutno u toj klinici leži 75 covid pozitivnih pacijenata, a posljednja dva dana primaju znatno više takvih pacijenata odnosno po 16 bolesnika dnevno.
Prošli su tjedan, kaže, imali 32 do 35 bolesnika, a sada je to dvostruko više.
"Ako se takav trend nastavi mi ćemo jako brzo popuniti kapaciteti jer imamo 150 mjesta za takve bolesnike", rekao je Ivić u izjavi za novinare.
"Na respiratoru je trenutno šest bolesnika. Vjerujem da nam nikada neće trebati veliki broj respiratora, ali ako se ovako nastavi mi smo u roku od desetak dana popunjeni. U tom se slučaju moramo vratiti na onaj režim koji je bio na snazi na proljeće ove godine kada je bolnica na Križinama prenamijenjena u covid bolnicu", kazao je.
Rekao je i kako se nada da do te prenamjene bolnice neće doći, ali i dodao da ga do sada baš ništa nije demantiralo. "Za sada su svi pacijenti u toj klinici sa srednje teškim i teškim upalama pluća među kojima su i mlađi ljudi, no uglavnom je to populacija od 50 godina i više", pojasnio je ustvrdivši kako je epidemija postala puno proširenija i ekstenzivnija zbog čega je sve više pacijenata koji trebaju bolničko liječenje.
Na Klinici nema zaraze među osobljem
Na Klinici trenutno nema zaraženih među osobljem, rekao je Ivić kazavši kako je zdravstveno osoblje dio populacije te je gotovo nevjerojatno da se ne zaraze i to u prvom redu izvan bolnice jer u bolnici koriste zaštitu, a izvan nje žive sa svojom obitelji.
Upitan da komentira najave mogućnosti novog lockdowna ili policijskog sata odgovorio je da mu je o tome teško govoriti jer je totalno zatvaranje ekonomska katastrofa i nešto što nitko ne želi.
"Mogli smo u prvom valu pokušati i nadati se da će se bolest ugasiti, ali kada nam je jasno da se bolest neće ugasiti onda nam preostaje jedino da je kontroliramo. Kontrolirati je možemo samo onim metodama koje jesu iz 19. stoljeća, ali su vrlo učinkovite, dok ove iz 21. stoljeća o njima samo pričamo, ali nemamo na raspolaganju. Cjepivima, efikasnim lijekovima, to je još uvijek priča", poručio je Ivić.
Smatra i kako su građani neodgovorni te da ne treba lagati jedni drugima jer svi vide što se događa u autobusima, trajektima, restoranima i drugim mjestima.
Novinare je zanimalo i ima li splitska bolnica lijeka Remdesivir koji se daje oboljelima od covida na što su dobili odgovor kako ga trenutno nemaju jer čekaju nabavu, no kada će doći još se ne zna.
Objasnio je da taj lijek poboljšava ishod bolesti, ali i napomenuo da on od Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije nije preporučen kao lijek koji liječi covid.
"No, liječnici se hvataju svake terapije koja po nekim studijima ipak daje određeni boljitak za bolesnika. U ukupnom preživljavanju je još uvijek upitno koliko je on radikalno dobar lijek, no na pojedinačnim slučajevima imaju iskustvo da ga se isplati dati pacijentima", rekao je.

Predstojnik Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split dr. Ivo Ivić izjavio je u srijedu kako su u tu kliniku u zadnja dva dana primljena 32 covid pozitivna pacijenta te je popunjeno pola bolničkih kapaciteta, a poručio je i da će, nastavi li se takav trend prijema bolesnika, bolnica za desetak dana biti popunjena.
Pojasnio je i kako trenutno u toj klinici leži 75 covid pozitivnih pacijenata, a posljednja dva dana primaju znatno više takvih pacijenata odnosno po 16 bolesnika dnevno.
Prošli su tjedan, kaže, imali 32 do 35 bolesnika, a sada je to dvostruko više.
"Ako se takav trend nastavi mi ćemo jako brzo popuniti kapaciteti jer imamo 150 mjesta za takve bolesnike", rekao je Ivić u izjavi za novinare.
"Na respiratoru je trenutno šest bolesnika. Vjerujem da nam nikada neće trebati veliki broj respiratora, ali ako se ovako nastavi mi smo u roku od desetak dana popunjeni. U tom se slučaju moramo vratiti na onaj režim koji je bio na snazi na proljeće ove godine kada je bolnica na Križinama prenamijenjena u covid bolnicu", kazao je.
Rekao je i kako se nada da do te prenamjene bolnice neće doći, ali i dodao da ga do sada baš ništa nije demantiralo. "Za sada su svi pacijenti u toj klinici sa srednje teškim i teškim upalama pluća među kojima su i mlađi ljudi, no uglavnom je to populacija od 50 godina i više", pojasnio je ustvrdivši kako je epidemija postala puno proširenija i ekstenzivnija zbog čega je sve više pacijenata koji trebaju bolničko liječenje.
Na Klinici nema zaraze među osobljem
Na Klinici trenutno nema zaraženih među osobljem, rekao je Ivić kazavši kako je zdravstveno osoblje dio populacije te je gotovo nevjerojatno da se ne zaraze i to u prvom redu izvan bolnice jer u bolnici koriste zaštitu, a izvan nje žive sa svojom obitelji.
Upitan da komentira najave mogućnosti novog lockdowna ili policijskog sata odgovorio je da mu je o tome teško govoriti jer je totalno zatvaranje ekonomska katastrofa i nešto što nitko ne želi.
"Mogli smo u prvom valu pokušati i nadati se da će se bolest ugasiti, ali kada nam je jasno da se bolest neće ugasiti onda nam preostaje jedino da je kontroliramo. Kontrolirati je možemo samo onim metodama koje jesu iz 19. stoljeća, ali su vrlo učinkovite, dok ove iz 21. stoljeća o njima samo pričamo, ali nemamo na raspolaganju. Cjepivima, efikasnim lijekovima, to je još uvijek priča", poručio je Ivić.
Smatra i kako su građani neodgovorni te da ne treba lagati jedni drugima jer svi vide što se događa u autobusima, trajektima, restoranima i drugim mjestima.
Novinare je zanimalo i ima li splitska bolnica lijeka Remdesivir koji se daje oboljelima od covida na što su dobili odgovor kako ga trenutno nemaju jer čekaju nabavu, no kada će doći još se ne zna.
Objasnio je da taj lijek poboljšava ishod bolesti, ali i napomenuo da on od Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije nije preporučen kao lijek koji liječi covid.
"No, liječnici se hvataju svake terapije koja po nekim studijima ipak daje određeni boljitak za bolesnika. U ukupnom preživljavanju je još uvijek upitno koliko je on radikalno dobar lijek, no na pojedinačnim slučajevima imaju iskustvo da ga se isplati dati pacijentima", rekao je.
