Opelovi karavani uspjeh grade još od kraja 50-ih, a model koji smo testirali nasljednik je legendarnog Kadetta Caravan. Prva generacija Astre iz 1991. zamijenila je Kadett, a testni je model iz druge generacije, predstavljene 1998. godine. Premda je dolaskom Astre nekad opjevana njemačka kvaliteta počela slabjeti, jer je Astra postala međunarodni proizvod, od 2000. početni problemi su riješeni.

Najviše problema bilo je sa servouređajem i zupčastom letvom volana, upravljačkom elektronikom i klima uređajem. Kod benzinaca 1.6 16V bilo je problema s otkazivanjem vodilice i napinjača zupčastog remena, zbog čega je dolazilo do njegova preskakanja. To je izazivalo havariju motora i veliku štetu. Testni je model iz 2002. godine te je prebolio sve “dječje bolesti”.

Opremljen je robusnim i izdržljivim Opelovim dizelašem, zanimljive koncepcije s jednim bregastim vratilom i 16 ventila. Opel ga je prestao proizvoditi 2005., ne zato što nije bio dobar (pouzdan je izdržljiv), nego zbog skupe proizvodnje (zamijenili su ga dizelaši iz suradnje s Fiatom i Isuzuom). U devet godina prešao je 164.000 km te je još uvijek u vrlo dobrom stanju.

Ne dimi i radi ravnomjerno. Testna je vožnja pokazala da je upravljač bez zazora, kočnice i spojka hvataju ravnomjerno, a prilikom prelaska neravnina osjeća se da je podvozje zadržalo potpunu kompaktnost i čvrstoću. Jedino će uskoro trebati zamijeniti stražnji ispušni lonac. Zasluga je to i redovitog održavanja te umjerene vožnje, što se vidi po stanju automobila i karoserije, bez tragova hrđe i oštećenja. Rabljeni Opeli dobro drže cijenu i lako se prodaju te se isplati platiti 5300 eura.

Isplativ je i benzinac 1.6

Dizelaš 2.0 DTI je robustan i izdržljiv, posebice u verziji sa 82 KS, ali kod starijih dizelaša često je problem s vraćenom kilometražom. Problema najčešće ima s brizgaljkama i mjeračima protoka zraka.

Osnovni benzinac 1.6 sa 85 KS, koji je najjeftiniji, često je i najisplativiji. Ima samo jedno bregasto vratilo i osam ventila te je pouzdan i izdržljiv, a održavanje je povoljno.

Opelovi karavani uspjeh grade još od kraja 50-ih, a model koji smo testirali nasljednik je legendarnog Kadetta Caravan. Prva generacija Astre iz 1991. zamijenila je Kadett, a testni je model iz druge generacije, predstavljene 1998. godine. Premda je dolaskom Astre nekad opjevana njemačka kvaliteta počela slabjeti, jer je Astra postala međunarodni proizvod, od 2000. početni problemi su riješeni.

Najviše problema bilo je sa servouređajem i zupčastom letvom volana, upravljačkom elektronikom i klima uređajem. Kod benzinaca 1.6 16V bilo je problema s otkazivanjem vodilice i napinjača zupčastog remena, zbog čega je dolazilo do njegova preskakanja. To je izazivalo havariju motora i veliku štetu. Testni je model iz 2002. godine te je prebolio sve “dječje bolesti”.

Opremljen je robusnim i izdržljivim Opelovim dizelašem, zanimljive koncepcije s jednim bregastim vratilom i 16 ventila. Opel ga je prestao proizvoditi 2005., ne zato što nije bio dobar (pouzdan je izdržljiv), nego zbog skupe proizvodnje (zamijenili su ga dizelaši iz suradnje s Fiatom i Isuzuom). U devet godina prešao je 164.000 km te je još uvijek u vrlo dobrom stanju.

Ne dimi i radi ravnomjerno. Testna je vožnja pokazala da je upravljač bez zazora, kočnice i spojka hvataju ravnomjerno, a prilikom prelaska neravnina osjeća se da je podvozje zadržalo potpunu kompaktnost i čvrstoću. Jedino će uskoro trebati zamijeniti stražnji ispušni lonac. Zasluga je to i redovitog održavanja te umjerene vožnje, što se vidi po stanju automobila i karoserije, bez tragova hrđe i oštećenja. Rabljeni Opeli dobro drže cijenu i lako se prodaju te se isplati platiti 5300 eura.

Isplativ je i benzinac 1.6

Dizelaš 2.0 DTI je robustan i izdržljiv, posebice u verziji sa 82 KS, ali kod starijih dizelaša često je problem s vraćenom kilometražom. Problema najčešće ima s brizgaljkama i mjeračima protoka zraka.

Osnovni benzinac 1.6 sa 85 KS, koji je najjeftiniji, često je i najisplativiji. Ima samo jedno bregasto vratilo i osam ventila te je pouzdan i izdržljiv, a održavanje je povoljno.
