HRT-ova šibenska ekipa bila je s istraživačima ostataka trgovačkog broda koji leže na morskome dnu, usred Nacionalnog parka Kornati, na dubini od 30-ak metara.
Riječ je o brodu natovarenom bogatim teretom osmanskih keramičkih proizvoda, stradalom početkom 18. stoljeća na plovidbi kroz Kornatski kanal prema Veneciji, najvećoj trgovačkoj luci na sjeveru Jadrana i glavnom distributeru orijentalne robe za europsko tržište.
Dosadašnja istraživanja pokazala su da se na dubini od 30 do 50 metara i na području veličine 25 x 25 metara nalaze ostaci drvenoga brodskog trupa, tri velika željezna sidra, sedam topova, brončano zvono i druga brodska oprema, od inventara brodske kuhinje do osobnih predmeta posade, uz znatnu količinu duhanskih lula i keramičkog posuđa iz brodskog tereta.
- Ovo je jedinstveni teret. Ovakav veliki teret lulica nemamo do sada na Jadranu, rekla je Vesna Zmaić, voditeljica istraživanja.
Lulice su sastavljene od više dijelova - keramičkih i drvenih. Za razliku od europskih jednodjelnih.
Mletački trgovački brod bio je pun i fildžana - šalica za kavu bez ručke - te ostalog pribora za uživanje u kavi. Izrađenih u turskom gradu Kutahyi, tadašnjem središtu proizvodnje porculana za europske kupce.
- Za razliku od kineskog porculana, koji je bio skup i kojeg su si mogli priuštiti samo viši slojevi. Znači, ovo je bio porculan za širi puk, ističe Zmaić.
No i "roba široke potrošnje" bila je dragocjen teret.
- Ovaj brod je bio naoružan sa sedam željeznih topova, kaže Igor Mihajlović, Odjel za podvodnu arheologiju Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda.
Sačuvana su na dnu mora i željezna sidra, brodsko posuđe, a istraživačima pozornost plijene pronađeni osobni predmeti - poput svetačkog medaljona.
Svaki se nalaz precizno bilježi. A zatim i pažljivo obrađuje.
- Prvo i osnovno je da se desalinizira u slatkoj vodi naravno, kako bi se sva ta sol izvadila. Potom slijedi dalje mehaničko čišćenje ili prema potrebi dalje, objasnila je Lea Čataj, voditeljica Odjela za restauriranje arheoloških nalaza Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda.
U datiranju brodoloma pomažu i informacije o vremenu proizvodnje porculana u Kuthayi te druge povijesne činjenice.
- Možemo ga smjestiti u razdoblje nakon završetka Morejskog rata, koji se događao krajem 17. stoljeća između Venecije i Osmanskog carstva. Ukazuje na porast trgovine između Istoka i Zapada odmah nakon završetka ratnih aktivnosti, kaže Igor Mihajlović.
Čini se da je ovaj brodolom prvi zabilježen slučaj trgovine takvom robom, dok opseg tereta upućuje na brojne uživatelje duhana i kave u Europi, kao i na veliko zanimanje za orijentalnu robu.

HRT-ova šibenska ekipa bila je s istraživačima ostataka trgovačkog broda koji leže na morskome dnu, usred Nacionalnog parka Kornati, na dubini od 30-ak metara.
Riječ je o brodu natovarenom bogatim teretom osmanskih keramičkih proizvoda, stradalom početkom 18. stoljeća na plovidbi kroz Kornatski kanal prema Veneciji, najvećoj trgovačkoj luci na sjeveru Jadrana i glavnom distributeru orijentalne robe za europsko tržište.
Dosadašnja istraživanja pokazala su da se na dubini od 30 do 50 metara i na području veličine 25 x 25 metara nalaze ostaci drvenoga brodskog trupa, tri velika željezna sidra, sedam topova, brončano zvono i druga brodska oprema, od inventara brodske kuhinje do osobnih predmeta posade, uz znatnu količinu duhanskih lula i keramičkog posuđa iz brodskog tereta.
- Ovo je jedinstveni teret. Ovakav veliki teret lulica nemamo do sada na Jadranu, rekla je Vesna Zmaić, voditeljica istraživanja.
Lulice su sastavljene od više dijelova - keramičkih i drvenih. Za razliku od europskih jednodjelnih.
Mletački trgovački brod bio je pun i fildžana - šalica za kavu bez ručke - te ostalog pribora za uživanje u kavi. Izrađenih u turskom gradu Kutahyi, tadašnjem središtu proizvodnje porculana za europske kupce.
- Za razliku od kineskog porculana, koji je bio skup i kojeg su si mogli priuštiti samo viši slojevi. Znači, ovo je bio porculan za širi puk, ističe Zmaić.
No i "roba široke potrošnje" bila je dragocjen teret.
- Ovaj brod je bio naoružan sa sedam željeznih topova, kaže Igor Mihajlović, Odjel za podvodnu arheologiju Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda.
Sačuvana su na dnu mora i željezna sidra, brodsko posuđe, a istraživačima pozornost plijene pronađeni osobni predmeti - poput svetačkog medaljona.
Svaki se nalaz precizno bilježi. A zatim i pažljivo obrađuje.
- Prvo i osnovno je da se desalinizira u slatkoj vodi naravno, kako bi se sva ta sol izvadila. Potom slijedi dalje mehaničko čišćenje ili prema potrebi dalje, objasnila je Lea Čataj, voditeljica Odjela za restauriranje arheoloških nalaza Hrvatskog restauratorskog zavoda.
U datiranju brodoloma pomažu i informacije o vremenu proizvodnje porculana u Kuthayi te druge povijesne činjenice.
- Možemo ga smjestiti u razdoblje nakon završetka Morejskog rata, koji se događao krajem 17. stoljeća između Venecije i Osmanskog carstva. Ukazuje na porast trgovine između Istoka i Zapada odmah nakon završetka ratnih aktivnosti, kaže Igor Mihajlović.
Čini se da je ovaj brodolom prvi zabilježen slučaj trgovine takvom robom, dok opseg tereta upućuje na brojne uživatelje duhana i kave u Europi, kao i na veliko zanimanje za orijentalnu robu.
