Poštovani, moja 6-godišnja kćer Eva ulovila je u plićaku na otoku Mali Iž neobičnu ribicu i donijela nam je u maski. Kako nam je bila potpuno nepoznata, slikali smo je i pustili u more. S obzirom da je nitko nije uspio prepoznati, molimo pomoć oko identifikacije.

Kada se ulovi neki mali primjerak ribe, prvo treba ustanoviti radi li se zaista o maloj vrsti ili je riječ o mladom primjerku neke ribe koja može narasti puno veća. U vašem slučaju bilo je jasno da se radi o malom primjerku neke veće vrste, s obzirom da oblikom i karakteristikama ribica nije sličila na niti jednu manju vrstu ribe.

Problem kod malih i mladih primjeraka velikih vrsta je što vrlo često mladi primjerci uopće ne sliče na veće pripadnike svoje vrste, jer tijekom odrastanja doživljavaju metamorfozu tijela u oblik koji je inače poznat široj publici. Stoga mi je ovaj primjerak predstavljao određeni problem, jer se inače ne bavim tzv. juvenilnim stadijima riba.

Ipak, karakteristike su mi bile od prije poznate i pretpostavljao sam o kojoj je vrsti riječ, no tražio sam dodatnu potvrdu od kolega koji se bave juvenilnim ribama. Nakon pregleda fotografija, potvrdili su mi početnu misao.

Pretpostavljam da ćete se iznenaditi kako je ovdje riječ o svima znanoj kavali, latinskog naziva Sciaena umbra. S obzirom da su karakteristike kavale dobro poznate, neću ih opisivati, već samo zaključiti da i ovaj primjer dokazuje kako je priroda uistinu čudesna.

Poštovani, moja 6-godišnja kćer Eva ulovila je u plićaku na otoku Mali Iž neobičnu ribicu i donijela nam je u maski. Kako nam je bila potpuno nepoznata, slikali smo je i pustili u more. S obzirom da je nitko nije uspio prepoznati, molimo pomoć oko identifikacije.

Kada se ulovi neki mali primjerak ribe, prvo treba ustanoviti radi li se zaista o maloj vrsti ili je riječ o mladom primjerku neke ribe koja može narasti puno veća. U vašem slučaju bilo je jasno da se radi o malom primjerku neke veće vrste, s obzirom da oblikom i karakteristikama ribica nije sličila na niti jednu manju vrstu ribe.

Problem kod malih i mladih primjeraka velikih vrsta je što vrlo često mladi primjerci uopće ne sliče na veće pripadnike svoje vrste, jer tijekom odrastanja doživljavaju metamorfozu tijela u oblik koji je inače poznat široj publici. Stoga mi je ovaj primjerak predstavljao određeni problem, jer se inače ne bavim tzv. juvenilnim stadijima riba.

Ipak, karakteristike su mi bile od prije poznate i pretpostavljao sam o kojoj je vrsti riječ, no tražio sam dodatnu potvrdu od kolega koji se bave juvenilnim ribama. Nakon pregleda fotografija, potvrdili su mi početnu misao.

Pretpostavljam da ćete se iznenaditi kako je ovdje riječ o svima znanoj kavali, latinskog naziva Sciaena umbra. S obzirom da su karakteristike kavale dobro poznate, neću ih opisivati, već samo zaključiti da i ovaj primjer dokazuje kako je priroda uistinu čudesna.

Poštovani, moja 6-godišnja kćer Eva ulovila je u plićaku na otoku Mali Iž neobičnu ribicu i donijela nam je u maski. Kako nam je bila potpuno nepoznata, slikali smo je i pustili u more. S obzirom da je nitko nije uspio prepoznati, molimo pomoć oko identifikacije.

Kada se ulovi neki mali primjerak ribe, prvo treba ustanoviti radi li se zaista o maloj vrsti ili je riječ o mladom primjerku neke ribe koja može narasti puno veća. U vašem slučaju bilo je jasno da se radi o malom primjerku neke veće vrste, s obzirom da oblikom i karakteristikama ribica nije sličila na niti jednu manju vrstu ribe.

Problem kod malih i mladih primjeraka velikih vrsta je što vrlo često mladi primjerci uopće ne sliče na veće pripadnike svoje vrste, jer tijekom odrastanja doživljavaju...
