Prošlo je gotovo 30 godina otkako je redatelj i glumac Woody Allen prvi put optužen da je seksualno zlostavljao sedmogodišnju kćer Dylan koju je posvojio tijekom braka s Miom Farrow . Djevojčica i glumica iznijele su stravičnu priču nedugo nakon što se ona rastavila od slavnog redatelja, a on prohodao s njenom posvojenom kćeri iz prvog braka, 35 godina mlađom Soon-Yi Previn . Sada je izašao novi HBO dokumentarni serijal u četiri nastavka 'Allen v. Farrow' i ponovno u fokus stavio optužbe koje je redatelj i glumac oduvijek odbacivao i nikada za njih nije odgovarao.

Otkako je 1992. u javnost izašla optužba da je Allen seksualno zlostavljao Dylan Farrow on je režirao 26 filmova, osvojio trećeg Oskara za najbolji scenariji i surađivao s nekim od najvećih hollywoodskih imena - muškaraca i žena. Za razliku od svih drugih poznatih muškaraca koji su doživjeli bojkot filmske industrije, izgubili milijunske ugovore i odbačeni od strane kolega i prijatelja, Allen je prošao relativno neokrznut iz ovog skandala.
On je oduvijek odbacivao takve insinuacije i krivio nekadašnju muzu i suprugu s kojom je bio u braku 12 godina, Miu Farrow, da je okrenula njihovu biološku i posvojenu djecu protiv njega iz bijesa što je prohodao s njenom drugom posvojenom kćeri koja je tada imala tek 21 godinu.

Klinički odjel za seksualno zlostavljanje djece bolnice Yale-New Haven 1993. otkrio je nakon vještačenja da je Allen nije kriv za ono što ga tereti bivša žena, ali je ona ipak dobila puno skrbništvo nad djecom nakon brakorazvodne parnice, a on s njima nije ostao u dobrim odnosima. Štoviše, bez obzira na vještačenje, sva njihova djeca nastavila su inzistirati da su iskazi iz toga vremena istiniti.

Nakon što je Woody Allen 2014. dobio nagradu za životno djelo na dodjeli Golden Globes, Dylan je za magazin Times napisala esej od kojeg se svima koji su ga pročitali zgrčio želudac pitajući se zašto on i dalje uspješno radi dok je njen život narušen. Ona je danas spisateljica, ali se u svom privatnom životu koristi drugim imenom i živi udaljeno od očiju javnosti.
Nedugo nakon što je ona objavila esej, redatelj je za isti magazin napisao demanti u kojem priznaje samo da se u to vrijeme krivo postavio po pitanju svoje veze s Dylaninom sestrom, svojom pokćerkom. Ta bizarna veza oduvijek je izazivala brojne čudne komentare, a par se 1997. i vjenčao i od tada žive zajedno sa svojih dvoje posvojene djece.
Dokumentarac kojemu je izašla tek prva epizoda, bavi se ne samo iskustvima Dylan već i odnosom Hollywooda spram jedne od njegovih najvećih zvijezda. Ipak od 2007. kada je pokrenut #metoo pokret osjetna je barem blaga promjena u njemu. Zvijezde filma 'Kišni dan u New Yorku' Timothy Chalamet i Selena Gomez donirali su cjelokupne honorare za udruge koje se bave žrtvama seksualnog nasilja nakon brojnih prozivki medija zbog te suradnje. Amazon Studio je otkazao svoj ugovor s redateljem nakon čega je uslijedila i tužba, ali je stvar riješena van suda.
Allen se još jednom javio povodom filma i optužio HBO da ga je kontaktirao prije manje od dva mjeseca i dao mu tek par dana da im da svoj komentar što je on odbio. Rekao je i da bez obzira koliko pažnje dobio dokumentarac, ipak ne može promijeniti činjenice, a on tvrdi da su one odavno utvrđene i idu u njegovu korist.
“Ovaj dokumentarac nije pokazao nikakav interes za istinom. Kao što je poznato desetljećima, ove su optužbe kategorički lažne. Više ih je agencija u to vrijeme istraživalo i utvrdilo da se, bez obzira na to što je Dylan Farrow bila nagovorena da vjeruje, nikada nije dogodilo apsolutno nikakvo zlostavljanje", rekao je u izjavi i dodao: "Nažalost nije iznenađujuće što je mreža koja ovo emitira HBO koji ima stalni poslovni odnos s Ronanom Farrowom ."

Djevojčica i glumica iznijele su stravičnu priču nedugo nakon što se ona rastavila od slavnog redatelja, a on prohodao s njenom posvojenom kćeri iz prvog braka, 35 godina mlađom Soon-Yi Previn . Sada je izašao novi HBO dokumentarni serijal u četiri nastavka 'Allen v. Farrow' i ponovno u fokus stavio optužbe koje je redatelj i glumac oduvijek odbacivao i nikada za njih nije odgovarao.

Otkako je 1992. u javnost izašla optužba da je Allen seksualno zlostavljao Dylan Farrow on je režirao 26 filmova, osvojio trećeg Oskara za najbolji scenariji i surađivao s nekim od najvećih hollywoodskih imena - muškaraca i žena. Za razliku od svih drugih poznatih muškaraca koji su doživjeli bojkot filmske industrije, izgubili milijunske ugovore i odbačeni od strane kolega i prijatelja, Allen je prošao relativno neokrznut iz ovog skandala.
On je oduvijek odbacivao takve insinuacije i krivio nekadašnju muzu i suprugu s kojom je bio u braku 12 godina, Miu Farrow, da je okrenula njihovu biološku i posvojenu djecu protiv njega iz bijesa što je prohodao s njenom drugom posvojenom kćeri koja je tada imala tek 21 godinu.

Klinički odjel za seksualno zlostavljanje djece bolnice Yale-New Haven 1993. otkrio je nakon vještačenja da je Allen nije kriv za ono što ga tereti bivša žena, ali je ona ipak dobila puno skrbništvo nad djecom nakon brakorazvodne parnice, a on s njima nije ostao u dobrim odnosima. Štoviše, bez obzira na vještačenje, sva njihova djeca nastavila su inzistirati da su iskazi iz toga vremena istiniti.

Nakon što je Woody Allen 2014. dobio nagradu za životno djelo na dodjeli Golden Globes, Dylan je za magazin Times napisala esej od kojeg se svima koji su ga pročitali zgrčio želudac pitajući se zašto on i dalje uspješno radi dok je njen život narušen. Ona je danas spisateljica, ali se u svom privatnom životu koristi drugim imenom i živi udaljeno od očiju javnosti.
Nedugo nakon što je ona objavila esej, redatelj je za isti magazin napisao demanti u kojem priznaje samo da se u to vrijeme krivo postavio po pitanju svoje veze s Dylaninom sestrom, svojom pokćerkom. Ta bizarna veza oduvijek je izazivala brojne čudne komentare, a par se 1997. i vjenčao i od tada žive zajedno sa svojih dvoje posvojene djece.
Dokumentarac kojemu je izašla tek prva epizoda, bavi se ne samo iskustvima Dylan već i odnosom Hollywooda spram jedne od njegovih najvećih zvijezda. Ipak od 2007. kada je pokrenut #metoo pokret osjetna je barem blaga promjena u njemu. Zvijezde filma 'Kišni dan u New Yorku' Timothy Chalamet i Selena Gomez donirali su cjelokupne honorare za udruge koje se bave žrtvama seksualnog nasilja nakon brojnih prozivki medija zbog te suradnje. Amazon Studio je otkazao svoj ugovor s redateljem nakon čega je uslijedila i tužba, ali je stvar riješena van suda.
Allen se još jednom javio povodom filma i optužio HBO da ga je kontaktirao prije manje od dva mjeseca i dao mu tek par dana da im da svoj komentar što je on odbio. Rekao je i da bez obzira koliko pažnje dobio dokumentarac, ipak ne može promijeniti činjenice, a on tvrdi da su one odavno utvrđene i idu u njegovu korist.
“Ovaj dokumentarac nije pokazao nikakav interes za istinom. Kao što je poznato desetljećima, ove su optužbe kategorički lažne. Više ih je agencija u to vrijeme istraživalo i utvrdilo da se, bez obzira na to što je Dylan Farrow bila nagovorena da vjeruje, nikada nije dogodilo apsolutno nikakvo zlostavljanje", rekao je u izjavi i dodao: "Nažalost nije iznenađujuće što je mreža koja ovo emitira HBO koji ima stalni poslovni odnos s Ronanom Farrowom ."
