Kao djeca, vidimo svoje roditelje kao sveznajuće ljude. Međutim, kako godine prolaze, shvaćamo da su naše mame i tate ipak samo obični ljudi, te da ni oni nemaju sve odgovore. Stoga odgovore počinjemo tražiti negdje drugdje.

Kao djeca, vidimo svoje roditelje kao sveznajuće ljude. Međutim, kako godine prolaze, shvaćamo da su naše mame i tate ipak samo obični ljudi, te da ni oni nemaju sve odgovore. Stoga odgovore počinjemo tražiti negdje drugdje.

Postoji zanimljiva studija objavljena u British Journal of Political Science, temeljena na podacima iz SAD-a i Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, koja je otkrila da roditelji koji inzistiraju da njihova djeca usvoje njihove političke stavove nenamjerno utječu na svoju djecu da napuste to uvjerenje kada postanu odrasli.

To se može objasniti činjenicom da djeca koja dolaze iz obitelji u kojima je politika česta tema rasprava imaju veću vjerojatnost da će razgovarati o politici nakon što odu od kuće, izlažući ih novim stajalištima – koja potom usvajaju s iznenađujućom učestalošću.

Slične transformacije događaju se i u drugim područjima. Kako bi ih bolje razumjeli, korisnic Reddita u/nousername1982 i u/ZestyClose_Ad4682 nedavno su pokrenuli teme tražeći od ljudi da podijele stvari koje su ih roditelji naučili, a koje su se pokazale potpuno pogrešnim. Evo nekih odgovora, u rasponu od romantičnih veza do osobnih financija, za koje smo mislili da bi mogli biti zanimljivi i vrijedni vašeg vremena, piše Bored Panda.

Prvi savjet koji su ponudili je da ako ne reagirate, prestat će vas maltretirati. Odnosi se na nadimke i zadirkane, ali i na naslije.

"Učitelji i osoblje vrtića su mi govorili to smeće. Moja mama je mislila da radim nešto zbog čega me druga djeca maltretiraju. Bez podrške. To se prenosi u odraslu dob. Samo želite razumjeti zašto su ljudi usrani prema vama", jedan je od komenatra te teze.

Drugi savjet, koji se također može i danas čuti, je "Ako se dečko ponaša kao kreten, to znači da mu se sviđaš!". Tim se savjetom uči djevojke da je zlostavljanje u redu i da trebaju očekivati ​​da ih se tretira kao "štracu".

Treći, dosta rašireni stereotip je da se u obitelji ne raspravlja o neugodnim stvarima kao što su seks i seksualnost, ili alkohol, droge i noćni izlasci, pa čak ni o politici, novcu i duhovnosti. "Želim da moja buduća djeca znaju činjenice i da ako ikada budu u nevolji, sa mnom mogu sigurno raspravljati. Ne moramo pričati o tome ako oni to ne žele, ali također trebaju znati da je sve to dio života i ne bi se trebalo toga sramiti", komentar je koji vrijedi zapamtiti.

Što će djevojci matematika?

"Pojedi sve s tanjura" itekako je prisutan savjet, a potaknuo je i brojne komentare, i evocirao brojne frustracije.

"Matematika i znanost ne trebaju djevojci", peti je "mudri" savjet iz ove palete. "To su mi govorili cijelo djetinjstvo. Čak i sada, kada sa sinom radim večernju zadaću, kažem mu da sam loša. A to nije istina, bez talenta, a pogotovo bez osnova, uspijevam napraviti puno stvari", piše jedna korisnica.

"Plakanje je sramotno" glasi "istina" koja se i danas često čuje. "Plakanje je dvostruko sramotnije za dječake i muškarce i jedan je od razloga njihovog lošeg liječenja mentalnog zdravlja", jedan je od komentara.

Sedmi je savjet da se Roditelji se nikada ne moraju ispričavati svojoj djeci. Koliko ta "mudrost" drži vodu najbolje pokazuje komentar: "Volim svog tatu. On je sjajan tata i znam da me jako voli, ali i sada, kada je njegov najmlađi (ja) punoljetan, misli da se ne treba ispričavati ako učini nešto loše. To je zbunjujuće".

"Reci mi istinu, neću se ljutiti", klasična je roditeljska samozabluda ili "navlakuša" o kojoj je bilo dota komentara.

"Nepristojno je izražavati bilo kakve negativne emocije", "Oni nisu gay, samo su zbunjeni", "Roditelji uvijek znaju što je najbolje za njihovu djecu", "Životinjama nije hladno, one su navikle biti vani", "Seksa se treba sramiti", "Ne brinite se o kreditima za fakultet", "Privatnost je privilegij" dio je tih naoko samorazmljivih istina, piše.

Vrijedi ih pročitati i dodati neku novu. Poticajne su za razmišljanje i prijsećanje, ali i kao upozorenje da ih sami nekritički ne širimo na nove generacije, piše Bored Panda.
