Dr. Ramakanta Panda, vodeći svjetski kardiokirurg i predsjednik Azijskog instituta za srce u Mumbaiju objašnjava zašto dolazi do sve češćih nenadnih srčanih udara u posljednjih nekoliko godina kod ljudi mlađih od 45 godina.

Dr. Panda za Times of India, kojeg prenosi N1, objašnjava: “Primijetili smo zabrinjavajući trend – sve više i više mladih odraslih osoba dolazi nam u Azijski institut za srce s kritičnim srčanim bolestima. Zabrinjava iz dva razloga. Prvo, mladi pacijenti sa srčanim bolestima imaju višu stopu komplikacija od srčanog udara. Drugo, to je znak za uzbunu da zdravlje srca treba biti prioritet za sve, bez obzira na dob. Bolest srca može pogoditi bilo kada, osobito zbog stresnog načina života koji vodimo i prevalencije bolesti životnog stila kao što su dijabetes, pretilost i hipertenzija. Vrijeme je za promjenu načina razmišljanja – za brigu o zdravlju našeg srca poduzimanjem preventivnih mjera umjesto vođenja nezdravog načina života koji vodi ranoj bolesti srca”.

Dr. Panda objašnjava: “U usporedbi s nekoliko desetljeća unazad, srčana bolest sve je veća briga za mlade, i nekoliko je razloga za to. Čimbenici kao što su nedostatak tjelovježbe, loš izbor prehrane s malo vlakana i puno ugljikohidrata uključujući prerađenu hranu, slatkiše, kao i pušenje, manje sna, prejedanje. Ne treba izostaviti zagađenje okoliša kao i genetske predispozicije, sve to igra ulogu.

To je dovelo do toga da mnogi mladi pojedinci razviju nedijagnosticiran dijabetes i hipertenziju, tiho povećavajući rizik od bolesti srca, a da toga nisu ni svjesni. To je latentna opasnost koja često ostane nezapažena dok ne bude prekasno”.

Važno je napomenuti da čak i ako nemate nikakve simptome, još uvijek možete imati neko srčano oboljenje. Stoga se preporučuju redoviti pregledi srca, osobito ako imate obiteljsku povijest bolesti srca ili druge čimbenike rizika.

Nekoliko njih može povećati vaše šanse za razvoj bolesti srca: dijabetes, visoki krvni tlak, korištenje duhanskih proizvoda, visoke razine kolesterola, neaktivan način života, obiteljsku povijest bolesti srca, prekomjernu težinu ili pretilost, lošu prehranu i stres. Važno je biti svjestan ovih čimbenika rizika i poduzeti korake za upravljanje njima kako biste smanjili rizik od srčanih bolesti, zaključuje dr. Panda.

Dr. Ramakanta Panda, vodeći svjetski kardiokirurg i predsjednik Azijskog instituta za srce u Mumbaiju objašnjava zašto dolazi do sve češćih nenadnih srčanih udara u posljednjih nekoliko godina kod ljudi mlađih od 45 godina.

Dr. Panda za Times of India, kojeg prenosi N1, objašnjava: “Primijetili smo zabrinjavajući trend – sve više i više mladih odraslih osoba dolazi nam u Azijski institut za srce s kritičnim srčanim bolestima. Zabrinjava iz dva razloga. Prvo, mladi pacijenti sa srčanim bolestima imaju višu stopu komplikacija od srčanog udara. Drugo, to je znak za uzbunu da zdravlje srca treba biti prioritet za sve, bez obzira na dob. Bolest srca može pogoditi bilo kada, osobito zbog stresnog načina života koji vodimo i prevalencije bolesti životnog stila kao što su dijabetes, pretilost i hipertenzija. Vrijeme je za promjenu načina razmišljanja – za brigu o zdravlju našeg srca poduzimanjem preventivnih mjera umjesto vođenja nezdravog načina života koji vodi ranoj bolesti srca”.

Dr. Panda objašnjava: “U usporedbi s nekoliko desetljeća unazad, srčana bolest sve je veća briga za mlade, i nekoliko je razloga za to. Čimbenici kao što su nedostatak tjelovježbe, loš izbor prehrane s malo vlakana i puno ugljikohidrata uključujući prerađenu hranu, slatkiše, kao i pušenje, manje sna, prejedanje. Ne treba izostaviti zagađenje okoliša kao i genetske predispozicije, sve to igra ulogu.

To je dovelo do toga da mnogi mladi pojedinci razviju nedijagnosticiran dijabetes i hipertenziju, tiho povećavajući rizik od bolesti srca, a da toga nisu ni svjesni. To je latentna opasnost koja često ostane nezapažena dok ne bude prekasno”.

Važno je napomenuti da čak i ako nemate nikakve simptome, još uvijek možete imati neko srčano oboljenje. Stoga se preporučuju redoviti pregledi srca, osobito ako imate obiteljsku povijest bolesti srca ili druge čimbenike rizika.

Dr. Ramakanta Panda, vodeći svjetski kardiokirurg i predsjednik Azijskog instituta za srce u Mumbaiju objašnjava zašto dolazi do sve češćih nenadnih srčanih udara u posljednjih nekoliko godina kod ljudi mlađih od 45 godina.

Dr. Panda za Times of India, kojeg prenosi N1, objašnjava: “Primijetili smo zabrinjavajući trend – sve više i više mladih odraslih osoba dolazi nam u Azijski institut za srce s kritičnim srčanim bolestima. Zabrinjava iz dva razloga. Prvo, mladi pacijenti sa srčanim bolestima imaju višu stopu komplikacija od srčanog udara.
