Vjerojatnost da će necijepljeni ljudi umrijeti od posljedica covida-19, 32 puta je veća u usporedbi s osobama cijepljenim dvjema dozama, pokazali su rezultati nove britanske studije. 

"Znatno je niža" stopa smrtnosti od covida među onima koji su cijepljeni objema dozama u usporedbi s onima koji su cijepljeni jednom dozom ili nisu uopće cijepljeni", objavio je britanski Nacionalni ured za statistiku (ONS). 

U istraživanju i analizi ONS-a korištene su stope smrtnosti prilagođene dobi, koje uzimaju u obzir razlike u godinama starosti i brojnost pripadnika dobnih skupina, kako bi se dobila valjana usporedba različitih skupina cijepljenih i necijepljenih.

Rezultati su pokazali da je u razdoblju od 2. siječnja do 21. rujna ove godine stopa smrtnosti među necijepljenima iznosila 849,7 na 100.000 stanovnika, prenose engleski mediji.

Među cijepljenima s obje doze stopa je bila samo 26,2 na 100.000 ljudi, a za cijepljene jednom dozom stopa je iznosila 105,3, dodaje se. 

"Ovo su zasad najbolji dostupni podaci o učinkovitosti cjepiva i sprečavanju najtežih ishoda covida", rekao je dr. Peter English, bivši savjetnik u nacionalnom tijelu za kontrolu zaraznih bolesti. 

Dodao je i da cjepiva nisu stopostotno učinkovita pa će se neki zaraziti ili umrijeti premda su se cijepili. 

"No važna poruka koja proizlazi iz ovog istraživanje je da je cjepivo visoko učinkovito protiv smrtnog ishoda od covida -19. Vjerojatnost da ćete umrijeti od posljedica covida 32 puta je manja ako ste cijepljeni, a i jedna doza pruža vam određenu razinu zaštitu, premda ne kao dvije", istaknuo je.

Vjerojatnost da će necijepljeni ljudi umrijeti od posljedica covida-19, 32 puta je veća u usporedbi s osobama cijepljenim dvjema dozama, pokazali su rezultati nove britanske studije. 

"Znatno je niža" stopa smrtnosti od covida među onima koji su cijepljeni objema dozama u usporedbi s onima koji su cijepljeni jednom dozom ili nisu uopće cijepljeni", objavio je britanski Nacionalni ured za statistiku (ONS). 

U istraživanju i analizi ONS-a korištene su stope smrtnosti prilagođene dobi, koje uzimaju u obzir razlike u godinama starosti i brojnost pripadnika dobnih skupina, kako bi se dobila valjana usporedba različitih skupina cijepljenih i necijepljenih.

Rezultati su pokazali da je u razdoblju od 2. siječnja do 21. rujna ove godine stopa smrtnosti među necijepljenima iznosila 849,7 na 100.000 stanovnika, prenose engleski mediji.

Među cijepljenima s obje doze stopa je bila samo 26,2 na 100.000 ljudi, a za cijepljene jednom dozom stopa je iznosila 105,3, dodaje se. 

"Ovo su zasad najbolji dostupni podaci o učinkovitosti cjepiva i sprečavanju najtežih ishoda covida", rekao je dr. Peter English, bivši savjetnik u nacionalnom tijelu za kontrolu zaraznih bolesti. 

Dodao je i da cjepiva nisu stopostotno učinkovita pa će se neki zaraziti ili umrijeti premda su se cijepili. 

"No važna poruka koja proizlazi iz ovog istraživanje je da je cjepivo visoko učinkovito protiv smrtnog ishoda od covida -19. Vjerojatnost da ćete umrijeti od posljedica covida 32 puta je manja ako ste cijepljeni, a i jedna doza pruža vam određenu razinu zaštitu, premda ne kao dvije", istaknuo je.

Vjerojatnost da će necijepljeni ljudi umrijeti od posljedica covida-19, 32 puta je veća u usporedbi s osobama cijepljenim dvjema dozama, pokazali su rezultati nove britanske studije. 

"Znatno je niža" stopa smrtnosti od covida među onima koji su cijepljeni objema dozama u usporedbi s onima koji su cijepljeni jednom dozom ili nisu uopće cijepljeni", objavio je britanski Nacionalni ured za statistiku (ONS). 

U istraživanju i analizi ONS-a korištene su stope smrtnosti prilagođene dobi, koje uzimaju u obzir razlike u godinama starosti i brojnost pripadnika dobnih skupina, kako bi se dobila valjana usporedba različitih skupina cijepljenih i necijepljenih.

Rezultati su pokazali da je u razdoblju od 2. siječnja do 21. rujna ove godine stopa smrtnosti među necijepljenima iznosila...
