Mjesecima nakon oporavka od blagog oblika covida-19, kad se razina antitijela u krvi smanji, imunosne stanice u koštanoj srži i dalje su u stanju izlučivati nova antitijela protiv koronavirusa, objavili su u ponedjeljak američki znanstvenici u časopisu Nature.

Nakon infekcije, imunosne stanice kratka vijeka vrlo se brzo generiraju te izlučuju val zaštitnih antitijela.

Paralelno s odumiranjem imunosnih stanica, razina antitijela opada, no bazen tih imunosnih stanica, poznatim pod nazivom dugovječne plazmatske stanice, ostaje u svojevrsnoj rezervi i nakon infekcije.

Većina ih se premješta u koštanu srž, objasnio je koautor studije Ali Ellebedy s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta Washington u St. Louisu.

Kazao je da su članovi njegova znanstvenog tima dobili na uvid uzorke koštane srži devetnaestero pacijenata sedam mjeseci od početka blagog oblika covida-19.

U njih petnaestero otkrivene su dugovječne plazmatske stanice koje su lučile antitijela protiv koronavirusa.

Petero među njima podvrgnuto je drugoj biopsiji koštane srži 11 mjeseci od pojave simptoma, koja je pokazala da su svi pacijenti i dalje imali dugovječne plazmatske stanice koje luče antitijela protiv SARS-CoVa-2.

Ellebedy je istaknuo da se te "stanice zadržavaju u koštanoj srži i nastavljaju izlučivati antitijela". Pojasnio je da se tako ponašaju od završetka bolesti te da će se to vjerojatno nastaviti do unedogled.

"Te će stanice nastaviti živjeti i vjerojatno stvarati antitijela do kraja života ljudi, no još nije u potpunosti jasno bismo li imali isti rezultat istraživanja u pacijenata koji su preboljeli umjereni do teški oblik covida-19", zaključili su autori studije.

Mjesecima nakon oporavka od blagog oblika covida-19, kad se razina antitijela u krvi smanji, imunosne stanice u koštanoj srži i dalje su u stanju izlučivati nova antitijela protiv koronavirusa, objavili su u ponedjeljak američki znanstvenici u časopisu Nature.

Nakon infekcije, imunosne stanice kratka vijeka vrlo se brzo generiraju te izlučuju val zaštitnih antitijela.

Paralelno s odumiranjem imunosnih stanica, razina antitijela opada, no bazen tih imunosnih stanica, poznatim pod nazivom dugovječne plazmatske stanice, ostaje u svojevrsnoj rezervi i nakon infekcije.

Većina ih se premješta u koštanu srž, objasnio je koautor studije Ali Ellebedy s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta Washington u St. Louisu.

Kazao je da su članovi njegova znanstvenog tima dobili na uvid uzorke koštane srži devetnaestero pacijenata sedam mjeseci od početka blagog oblika covida-19.

U njih petnaestero otkrivene su dugovječne plazmatske stanice koje su lučile antitijela protiv koronavirusa.

Petero među njima podvrgnuto je drugoj biopsiji koštane srži 11 mjeseci od pojave simptoma, koja je pokazala da su svi pacijenti i dalje imali dugovječne plazmatske stanice koje luče antitijela protiv SARS-CoVa-2.

Ellebedy je istaknuo da se te "stanice zadržavaju u koštanoj srži i nastavljaju izlučivati antitijela". Pojasnio je da se tako ponašaju od završetka bolesti te da će se to vjerojatno nastaviti do unedogled.

"Te će stanice nastaviti živjeti i vjerojatno stvarati antitijela do kraja života ljudi, no još nije u potpunosti jasno bismo li imali isti rezultat istraživanja u pacijenata koji su preboljeli umjereni do teški oblik covida-19", zaključili su autori studije.

Nova studija otkriva: imunosni sustav razvija dugoročnu obranu nakon blagog Covida-19

Mjesecima nakon oporavka od blagog oblika covida-19, kad se razina antitijela u krvi smanji, imunosne stanice u koštanoj srži i dalje su u stanju izlučivati nova antitijela protiv koronavirusa, objavili su u ponedjeljak američki znanstvenici u časopisu Nature.

Nakon infekcije, imunosne stanice kratka vijeka vrlo se brzo generiraju te izlučuju val zaštitnih antitijela.

Paralelno s odumiranjem imunosnih stanica, razina antitijela opada, no bazen tih imunosnih stanica, poznatim pod nazivom dugovječne plazmatske stanice, ostaje u svojevrsnoj rezervi i nakon infekcije.

Većina ih se premješta u koštanu srž, objasnio je koautor studije Ali Ellebedy s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta Washington u St. Louisu.

Kazao je da su članovi njegova znanstvenog tima dobili na uvid uzorke...
