Moguće je dvaput uzastopno zaraziti se dvama različitim podtipovima omikrona, no to se rijetko događa, pokazala je danska studija. 

Nova studija, koju su proveli istraživači s najvećega danskog zdravstvenog instituta za zarazne bolesti (Statens Serum Institut), pokazuje da infekcija podtipom BA.2 može uslijediti vrlo brzo nakon izvorne infekcije podtipom BA.1, ali da je to rijetka pojava.

Ova dva podtipa razlikuju se u 40 mutacija.

Dok BA.2 trenutačno čini više od 88 posto slučajeva zaraze u Danskoj, broj novozaraženih ovim podtipom počeo je rasti u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, Južnoafričkoj Republici i u Norveškoj.

Reinfekcije su uglavnom zahvatile mlade, necijepljene osobe i kod njih su prouzročile tek blagi oblik bolesti, no nijedna nije rezultirala hospitalizacijom ili smrtnim ishodom, rekli su danski znanstvenici.

U sklopu studije provedene između studenoga i veljače, koja još nije prošla recenziju, otkrili su 1739 slučajeva koji pokazuju da je ista osoba najprije bila zaražena podtipom BA.1, a potom, nakon 20 do 60 dana i podtipom BA.2.

U tom razdoblju u Danskoj je bilo 1,8 milijuna zaraženih. 

Na manjoj skupini uzoraka, studija je otkrila 47 slučajeva reinfekcije s BA.2 ubrzo nakon infekcije s BA.1.

Istraživači su otkrili i manje virusnog materijala pri drugoj infekciji, što ukazuje na to da je nakon prve infekcija osoba razvila imunitet.

Moguće je dvaput uzastopno zaraziti se dvama različitim podtipovima omikrona, no to se rijetko događa, pokazala je danska studija. 

Nova studija, koju su proveli istraživači s najvećega danskog zdravstvenog instituta za zarazne bolesti (Statens Serum Institut), pokazuje da infekcija podtipom BA.2 može uslijediti vrlo brzo nakon izvorne infekcije podtipom BA.1, ali da je to rijetka pojava.

Ova dva podtipa razlikuju se u 40 mutacija.

Dok BA.2 trenutačno čini više od 88 posto slučajeva zaraze u Danskoj, broj novozaraženih ovim podtipom počeo je rasti u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, Južnoafričkoj Republici i u Norveškoj.

Reinfekcije su uglavnom zahvatile mlade, necijepljene osobe i kod njih su prouzročile tek blagi oblik bolesti, no nijedna nije rezultirala hospitalizacijom ili smrtnim ishodom, rekli su danski znanstvenici.

U sklopu studije provedene između studenoga i veljače, koja još nije prošla recenziju, otkrili su 1739 slučajeva koji pokazuju da je ista osoba najprije bila zaražena podtipom BA.1, a potom, nakon 20 do 60 dana i podtipom BA.2.

U tom razdoblju u Danskoj je bilo 1,8 milijuna zaraženih. 

Na manjoj skupini uzoraka, studija je otkrila 47 slučajeva reinfekcije s BA.2 ubrzo nakon infekcije s BA.1.

Istraživači su otkrili i manje virusnog materijala pri drugoj infekciji, što ukazuje na to da je nakon prve infekcija osoba razvila imunitet.

Moguće je dvaput uzastopno zaraziti se dvama različitim podtipovima omikrona, no to se rijetko događa, pokazala je danska studija. 

Nova studija, koju su proveli istraživači s najvećega danskog zdravstvenog instituta za zarazne bolesti (Statens Serum Institut), pokazuje da infekcija podtipom BA.2 može uslijediti vrlo brzo nakon izvorne infekcije podtipom BA.1, ali da je to rijetka pojava.

Ova dva podtipa razlikuju se u 40 mutacija.

Dok BA.2 trenutačno čini više od 88 posto slučajeva zaraze u Danskoj, broj novozaraženih ovim podtipom počeo je rasti u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu, Južnoafričkoj Republici i u Norveškoj.

Reinfekcije su uglavnom zahvatile mlade, necijepljene osobe i kod njih su prouzročile tek blagi oblik bolesti, no nijedna nije rezultirala hospitalizacijom ili...
