Profesor Dušan Popadić je gostujući u Dnevniku RTS-a objasnio da će koronavirus izbjeći samo oni koji u nekim manjim sredinama žive u izolaciji i ne dolaze u puno kontakata s drugima.

Prema njegovim riječima, Srbija se polako vraća normalnom životu, ali ne treba ih previše ohrabrivati ​​povoljniji trend smanjenja broja zaraženih.

- I dalje smatram da brojke novozaraženih koji se prijavljuju podcjenjuju broj stvarno zaraženih. Mislim da je broj zaraženih veći, ali ih je definitivno manje nego prije tri tjedna, rekao je profesor Popadić. 

Dodaje da se ne testiraju svi, pogotovo oni koji su zaraženi bez simptoma.

- Možda su ljudi bili u kontaktu s virusom, ali to ne znaju. Mislim da će oko 95 posto stanovništva imati kontakt s virusom, nastavlja imunolog.

Ističe da su blizu kolektivnog imuniteta, a hoće li on biti dovoljan da ih zaštiti ovisi o budućim opasnostima.

- Ako se stvari dogode onako kako se nadam, ne samo ja nego i drugi uključeni, mislim da će ovo biti kraj pandemije, jer je vrlo vjerojatno da već imamo preko 50 posto cijepljene populacije u svijetu. Od onih koji su preživjeli, a ne znamo točno koliko je takvih ljudi, jer se u većini dijelova svijeta pokazuje da je broj zaraženih manji od stvarnog broja novozaraženih - vjerojatno je da će do svibnja gotovo 80 posto globalnog populacija će doći u kontakt s virusom ostavlja mnogo manje prostora za novi val pandemija, rekao je profesor Popadić.

Virus probija imunitet

Komentirajući situaciju da se netko dva puta zarazi koronavirusom, Popadić ističe da to više govori o virusu nego o našem imunitetu.

- Ova posljednja varijanta, koja je danas dominantna u zapadnoj Europi i nekim drugim dijelovima svijeta, takva je da je broj zaraznih čestica virusa koje susrećemo u okolišu prevelik i narušava imunitet, kako nakon infekcije tako i poslije cijepljenja, objašnjava profesor. Dodaje da se svi trebaju imunizirati i ne čekati da se zaraze.

- Kada govorimo o starijima, imamo dvije kategorije starijih osoba. Jedna je između 60 i 75 godina i postotak imunizacije je najveći. Nakon 75 godina taj je postotak znatno manji. Negdje oko dvije trećine sugrađana starijih od 75 godina je imunizirano, dok je više od četiri petine onih od 60 do 75 godina steklo određenu dozu imuniteta, naglašava Popadić.

Profesor Dušan Popadić je gostujući u Dnevniku RTS-a objasnio da će koronavirus izbjeći samo oni koji u nekim manjim sredinama žive u izolaciji i ne dolaze u puno kontakata s drugima.

Prema njegovim riječima, Srbija se polako vraća normalnom životu, ali ne treba ih previše ohrabrivati ​​povoljniji trend smanjenja broja zaraženih.

- I dalje smatram da brojke novozaraženih koji se prijavljuju podcjenjuju broj stvarno zaraženih. Mislim da je broj zaraženih veći, ali ih je definitivno manje nego prije tri tjedna, rekao je profesor Popadić. 

Dodaje da se ne testiraju svi, pogotovo oni koji su zaraženi bez simptoma.

- Možda su ljudi bili u kontaktu s virusom, ali to ne znaju. Mislim da će oko 95 posto stanovništva imati kontakt s virusom, nastavlja imunolog.

Ističe da su blizu kolektivnog imuniteta, a hoće li on biti dovoljan da ih zaštiti ovisi o budućim opasnostima.

- Ako se stvari dogode onako kako se nadam, ne samo ja nego i drugi uključeni, mislim da će ovo biti kraj pandemije, jer je vrlo vjerojatno da već imamo preko 50 posto cijepljene populacije u svijetu. Od onih koji su preživjeli, a ne znamo točno koliko je takvih ljudi, jer se u većini dijelova svijeta pokazuje da je broj zaraženih manji od stvarnog broja novozaraženih - vjerojatno je da će do svibnja gotovo 80 posto globalnog populacija će doći u kontakt s virusom ostavlja mnogo manje prostora za novi val pandemija, rekao je profesor Popadić.

Virus probija imunitet

Komentirajući situaciju da se netko dva puta zarazi koronavirusom, Popadić ističe da to više govori o virusu nego o našem imunitetu.

- Ova posljednja varijanta, koja je danas dominantna u zapadnoj Europi i nekim drugim dijelovima svijeta, takva je da je broj zaraznih čestica virusa koje susrećemo u okolišu prevelik i narušava imunitet, kako nakon infekcije tako i poslije cijepljenja, objašnjava profesor. Dodaje da se svi trebaju imunizirati i ne čekati da se zaraze.

- Kada govorimo o starijima, imamo dvije kategorije starijih osoba. Jedna je između 60 i 75 godina i postotak imunizacije je najveći. Nakon 75 godina taj je postotak znatno manji. Negdje oko dvije trećine sugrađana starijih od 75 godina je imunizirano, dok je više od četiri petine onih od 60 do 75 godina steklo određenu dozu imuniteta, naglašava Popadić.

Profesor Dušan Popadić je gostujući u Dnevniku RTS-a objasnio da će koronavirus izbjeći samo oni koji u nekim manjim sredinama žive u izolaciji i ne dolaze u puno kontakata s drugima.

Prema njegovim riječima, Srbija se polako vraća normalnom životu, ali ne treba ih previše ohrabrivati ​​povoljniji trend smanjenja broja zaraženih.

- I dalje smatram da brojke novozaraženih koji se prijavljuju podcjenjuju broj stvarno zaraženih. Mislim da je broj zaraženih veći, ali ih je definitivno manje nego prije tri tjedna, rekao je profesor Popadić. 

Dodaje da se ne testiraju svi, pogotovo oni koji su zaraženi bez simptoma.

- Možda su ljudi bili u kontaktu s virusom, ali to ne znaju. Mislim da će oko 95 posto stanovništva imati kontakt s virusom, nastavlja imunolog.
