Infekcija humanim papilomavirusom (HPV) virusna je infekcija koja se uglavnom prenosi izravnim spolnim kontaktom sa zaraženom osobom. Riječ je o najčešćoj spolno prenosivoj infekciji na svijetu. Možda upravo zato što se radi o najčešće spolno prenosivoj infekciji, u javnosti tako često kolaju razne neprovjerene glasine o HPV-u. U HRT-ovoj emisiji U trendingu gostovala je studentica medicine Elena Cahun koja je na pitanja u vezi ovog virusa dala neke znanstveno utemeljene odgovore.  

Jedno pitanje glasilo je: ako u slučaju da nečiji partner ima HPV, da li to znači da je bio nevjeran?

- To je česta zabluda kod infekcija HPV-a, 80 posto svih spolno aktivnih ljudi će doći u kontakt s nekim tipom HPV-a, a čak 60 posto prilikom prvog spolnog odnosa. Dakle, promiskuitet uopće nije povezan s infekcijom HPV-a - rekla je Elena.

Zatim je uslijedilo pitanje da li osobe s HPV-om uvijek iskazuju simptome?

- To je isto mit, HPV je najčešće bez simptoma, pogotovo kod muškaraca, što je vrlo opasno. Zato treba naglašavati da se ne trebaju cijepiti samo žene već i muškarci, jer muškarci do zadnjeg terminalnog stadija nemaju nikakve simptome. Kod žena je to druga priča, često prođe desetak godina od početka zaraze do prvih simptoma, ali kod žena budući da idu na ginekološke pregleda i na PAPA testove veća je šansa da će na vrijeme otkriti infekciju - zaključila je Elena

Infekcija humanim papilomavirusom (HPV) virusna je infekcija koja se uglavnom prenosi izravnim spolnim kontaktom sa zaraženom osobom. Riječ je o najčešćoj spolno prenosivoj infekciji na svijetu. Možda upravo zato što se radi o najčešće spolno prenosivoj infekciji, u javnosti tako često kolaju razne neprovjerene glasine o HPV-u. U HRT-ovoj emisiji U trendingu gostovala je studentica medicine Elena Cahun koja je na pitanja u vezi ovog virusa dala neke znanstveno utemeljene odgovore.  

Jedno pitanje glasilo je: ako u slučaju da nečiji partner ima HPV, da li to znači da je bio nevjeran?

- To je česta zabluda kod infekcija HPV-a, 80 posto svih spolno aktivnih ljudi će doći u kontakt s nekim tipom HPV-a, a čak 60 posto prilikom prvog spolnog odnosa. Dakle, promiskuitet uopće nije povezan s infekcijom HPV-a - rekla je Elena.

Zatim je uslijedilo pitanje da li osobe s HPV-om uvijek iskazuju simptome?

- To je isto mit, HPV je najčešće bez simptoma, pogotovo kod muškaraca, što je vrlo opasno. Zato treba naglašavati da se ne trebaju cijepiti samo žene već i muškarci, jer muškarci do zadnjeg terminalnog stadija nemaju nikakve simptome. Kod žena je to druga priča, često prođe desetak godina od početka zaraze do prvih simptoma, ali kod žena budući da idu na ginekološke pregleda i na PAPA testove veća je šansa da će na vrijeme otkriti infekciju - zaključila je Elena

‘Može proći i 10 godina do prvih simptoma!‘ Studentica medicine raskrinkala mitove vezane za HPV

Infekcija humanim papilomavirusom (HPV) virusna je infekcija koja se uglavnom prenosi izravnim spolnim kontaktom sa zaraženom osobom. Riječ je o najčešćoj spolno prenosivoj infekciji na svijetu. Možda upravo zato što se radi o najčešće spolno prenosivoj infekciji, u javnosti tako često kolaju razne neprovjerene glasine o HPV-u. U HRT-ovoj emisiji U trendingu gostovala je studentica medicine Elena Cahun koja je na pitanja u vezi ovog virusa dala neke znanstveno utemeljene odgovore.  

Jedno pitanje glasilo je: ako u slučaju da nečiji partner ima HPV, da li to znači da je bio nevjeran?

- To je česta zabluda kod infekcija HPV-a, 80 posto svih spolno aktivnih ljudi će doći u kontakt s nekim tipom HPV-a, a čak 60 posto prilikom prvog spolnog odnosa. Dakle, promiskuitet uopće nije povezan s infekcijom HPV-a - rekla je Elena.

Zatim je uslijedilo pitanje da li osobe s HPV-om uvijek iskazuju simptome?

- To je isto mit, HPV je najčešće bez simptoma, pogotovo kod muškaraca, što je vrlo opasno. Zato treba naglašavati da se ne trebaju cijepiti samo žene već i muškarci, jer muškarci do zadnjeg terminalnog stadija nemaju nikakve simptome. Kod žena je to druga priča, često prođe desetak godina od početka zaraze do prvih simptoma, ali kod žena budući da idu na ginekološke pregleda i na PAPA testove veća je šansa da će na vrijeme otkriti infekciju - zaključila je Elena
