Hladne i vruće fronte
Posljednjih ljeta svjedočimo naglim prodorima hladnijih i vrućih fronti tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, što osobito teško podnose srčani bolesnici. Njima se savjetuje pojačan oprez za ljetnih mjeseci i toplinskih udara. Ako je temperatura tijela slična temperaturi zraka, ono se hladi isparavanjem, što može promijeniti srčani ritam i prouzročiti dehidraciju i grčeve. Mijenja se i zgrušavanje krvi pa zbog češće dehidracije dolazi do lokalne tromboze, a noge otiču jer tekućina zaostaje u donjim dijelovima tijela.
Kod naglih promjena temperature može doći do infarkta jer se na vrućini krvne žile šire, čime se snižava krvni tlak i ubrzava rad srca. Promjena krvnog tlaka i pulsa često može dovesti do slabosti i gubitka svijesti. Srčanim bolesnicima savjetuje se stoga tijekom vrućina i ljetnih mjeseci izlaziti samo ujutro i navečer, a tijekom dana biti u klimatiziranim prostorijama na temperaturama između 22 i 24°C. Razlika između temperature u kući i vani ne bi trebala biti veća od sedam stupnjeva, stoga tako treba namjestiti klima-uređaj.

Piti puno tekućine
Treba piti dovoljno tekućine, jesti umjereno i sezonsko voće i povrće. Propisanu terapiju treba redovito uzimati i prije vrućina, a na početku ljeta dobro je posjetiti kardiologa kako bi eventualno izmijenio terapiju.
Bolesnici koji inače uzimaju lijekove za mokrenje trebaju još dodatno piti tekućinu i nadomjestiti elektrolite kad se uz to i pojačano znoje, jer se postojeća bolest može pogoršati.
Može doći do smanjenja cirkulatornog volumena i veće gustoće krvi, što potencira pojavu tromboze i infarkt.
Poseban oprez potreban je kod uzimanja diuretika, koji potiču izlučivanje vode iz organizma. Ti lijekovi, suprotno uvriježenom vjerovanju, ne izbacuju vodu, već sol (NaCl), a kako je ljeti potreba za diureticima obično smanjena, veća potreba za njima može ukazivati na pogoršanje bolesti. Stoga svaku promjenu, nejasnoću ili pogoršanje obavezno prijavite liječniku, koji će prema potrebi promijeniti ili prilagoditi terapiju.
Osobe s hipertenzijom trebaju jako paziti na tlak za ljetnih vrućina. Tlak treba češće mjeriti i ako se uoči da su vrijednosti tlaka za ljetnih mjeseci snižene - ispod 100/60 mm/ Hg - treba otići liječniku i savjetovati se o promjeni terapije.
Možda treba smanjiti dozu lijeka kako bi se spriječila pojava preniskog tlaka i gubitka svijesti. Puno tekućine pomoći će boljoj regulaciji tlaka. Liječnik će paziti i da doza lijeka ne bude prevelika za one koji počinju liječenje visokog krvnog tlaka tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, jer ga visoke temperature mogu naglo sniziti.

Hladne i vruće fronte
Posljednjih ljeta svjedočimo naglim prodorima hladnijih i vrućih fronti tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, što osobito teško podnose srčani bolesnici. Njima se savjetuje pojačan oprez za ljetnih mjeseci i toplinskih udara. Ako je temperatura tijela slična temperaturi zraka, ono se hladi isparavanjem, što može promijeniti srčani ritam i prouzročiti dehidraciju i grčeve. Mijenja se i zgrušavanje krvi pa zbog češće dehidracije dolazi do lokalne tromboze, a noge otiču jer tekućina zaostaje u donjim dijelovima tijela.
Kod naglih promjena temperature može doći do infarkta jer se na vrućini krvne žile šire, čime se snižava krvni tlak i ubrzava rad srca. Promjena krvnog tlaka i pulsa često može dovesti do slabosti i gubitka svijesti. Srčanim bolesnicima savjetuje se stoga tijekom vrućina i ljetnih mjeseci izlaziti samo ujutro i navečer, a tijekom dana biti u klimatiziranim prostorijama na temperaturama između 22 i 24°C. Razlika između temperature u kući i vani ne bi trebala biti veća od sedam stupnjeva, stoga tako treba namjestiti klima-uređaj.

Piti puno tekućine
Treba piti dovoljno tekućine, jesti umjereno i sezonsko voće i povrće. Propisanu terapiju treba redovito uzimati i prije vrućina, a na početku ljeta dobro je posjetiti kardiologa kako bi eventualno izmijenio terapiju.
Bolesnici koji inače uzimaju lijekove za mokrenje trebaju još dodatno piti tekućinu i nadomjestiti elektrolite kad se uz to i pojačano znoje, jer se postojeća bolest može pogoršati.
Može doći do smanjenja cirkulatornog volumena i veće gustoće krvi, što potencira pojavu tromboze i infarkt.
Poseban oprez potreban je kod uzimanja diuretika, koji potiču izlučivanje vode iz organizma. Ti lijekovi, suprotno uvriježenom vjerovanju, ne izbacuju vodu, već sol (NaCl), a kako je ljeti potreba za diureticima obično smanjena, veća potreba za njima može ukazivati na pogoršanje bolesti. Stoga svaku promjenu, nejasnoću ili pogoršanje obavezno prijavite liječniku, koji će prema potrebi promijeniti ili prilagoditi terapiju.
Osobe s hipertenzijom trebaju jako paziti na tlak za ljetnih vrućina. Tlak treba češće mjeriti i ako se uoči da su vrijednosti tlaka za ljetnih mjeseci snižene - ispod 100/60 mm/ Hg - treba otići liječniku i savjetovati se o promjeni terapije.
Možda treba smanjiti dozu lijeka kako bi se spriječila pojava preniskog tlaka i gubitka svijesti. Puno tekućine pomoći će boljoj regulaciji tlaka. Liječnik će paziti i da doza lijeka ne bude prevelika za one koji počinju liječenje visokog krvnog tlaka tijekom ljetnih mjeseci, jer ga visoke temperature mogu naglo sniziti.

Izbjegavajte boravak na otvorenom tijekom velikih vrućina i redovito vodite dnevnik tlaka. I oni koji imaju probleme s bubrezima trebaju izbjegavati vrućine jer je povišena temperatura napor za bubrege.
