Prva i dosad jedina podmornica koja je ikada bila u sastavu Hrvatske ratne mornarice svečano je porinuta 16. siječnja 1996. godine. Podmornica je nazvana Velebit i ima oznaku P-01, a sagrađena je u Brodogradilištu specijalnih objekata u Splitu. Konstruirana je za obavljanje diverzantskih zadaća, polaganja mina, obavljanje ophodnje i izviđanja, te druge specijalne zadaće. U zavisnosti od zadatka, posada broji četiri do šest članova, piše Povijest.hr. 

S njezinom gradnjom se počelo još u SFRJ gdje je bila dio klase diverzantskih podmornica Una. Izgrađena je 1987. godine, a zaplijenjena je od strane hrvatskih snaga dok je bila u Splitu na servisu za vrijeme Domovinskog rata. Njezin trup je produžen te joj je ugrađen dizelski generator i poboljšani sustav upravljanja. Prvu posadu su činili zapovjednik Stjepan Korda (poručnik bojnog broda), zamjenik Hidajet Čobo (poručnik fregate), upravitelj stroja Drago Kruhak (poručnik), električar Živko Đivanović (stožerni narednik), elektroničar Tomislav Šalinović (narednik), te strojar Ivan Bandalo (narednik).

Podmornica Velebit istiskuje 98,5 tona u uronjenom stanju, a 88 tona kad plovi na površini mora. Duljine je 21,09 metara, a promjer trupa iznosi joj oko 2,7 metara. Pogone je dva elektromotora tvrtke Končar, svaki snage od 20 kW, a posjeduje i jedan dizelski generator od 105 kW, pomoću kojeg se mogu puniti njene baterije. Podmornica Velebit može zaroniti na maksimalnu dubinu od 120 metara. Ovisno o zadatku, može nositi četiri diverzantske ronilice R-1 ili 12 diverzantskih priljepak-mina ili od 4 do 6 na dnu ležećih mina. Redovito održavanje podmornice polako je izostajalo, pa je nakon gubitka funkcionalnosti 2002. izvučena na suho, zaključuje povijest.hr.

Prva i dosad jedina podmornica koja je ikada bila u sastavu Hrvatske ratne mornarice svečano je porinuta 16. siječnja 1996. godine. Podmornica je nazvana Velebit i ima oznaku P-01, a sagrađena je u Brodogradilištu specijalnih objekata u Splitu. Konstruirana je za obavljanje diverzantskih zadaća, polaganja mina, obavljanje ophodnje i izviđanja, te druge specijalne zadaće. U zavisnosti od zadatka, posada broji četiri do šest članova, piše Povijest.hr. 

S njezinom gradnjom se počelo još u SFRJ gdje je bila dio klase diverzantskih podmornica Una. Izgrađena je 1987. godine, a zaplijenjena je od strane hrvatskih snaga dok je bila u Splitu na servisu za vrijeme Domovinskog rata. Njezin trup je produžen te joj je ugrađen dizelski generator i poboljšani sustav upravljanja. Prvu posadu su činili zapovjednik Stjepan Korda (poručnik bojnog broda), zamjenik Hidajet Čobo (poručnik fregate), upravitelj stroja Drago Kruhak (poručnik), električar Živko Đivanović (stožerni narednik), elektroničar Tomislav Šalinović (narednik), te strojar Ivan Bandalo (narednik).

Podmornica Velebit istiskuje 98,5 tona u uronjenom stanju, a 88 tona kad plovi na površini mora. Duljine je 21,09 metara, a promjer trupa iznosi joj oko 2,7 metara. Pogone je dva elektromotora tvrtke Končar, svaki snage od 20 kW, a posjeduje i jedan dizelski generator od 105 kW, pomoću kojeg se mogu puniti njene baterije. Podmornica Velebit može zaroniti na maksimalnu dubinu od 120 metara. Ovisno o zadatku, može nositi četiri diverzantske ronilice R-1 ili 12 diverzantskih priljepak-mina ili od 4 do 6 na dnu ležećih mina. Redovito održavanje podmornice polako je izostajalo, pa je nakon gubitka funkcionalnosti 2002. izvučena na suho, zaključuje povijest.hr.

Prva i dosad jedina podmornica koja je ikada bila u sastavu Hrvatske ratne mornarice svečano je porinuta 16. siječnja 1996. godine. Podmornica je nazvana Velebit i ima oznaku P-01, a sagrađena je u Brodogradilištu specijalnih objekata u Splitu. Konstruirana je za obavljanje diverzantskih zadaća, polaganja mina, obavljanje ophodnje i izviđanja, te druge specijalne zadaće. U zavisnosti od zadatka, posada broji četiri do šest članova, piše Povijest.hr. 

S njezinom gradnjom se počelo još u SFRJ gdje je bila dio klase diverzantskih podmornica Una. Izgrađena je 1987. godine, a zaplijenjena je od strane hrvatskih snaga dok je bila u Splitu na servisu za vrijeme Domovinskog rata. Njezin trup je produžen te joj je ugrađen dizelski generator i poboljšani sustav upravljanja....
