Korištenje aspirina u vrtu može imati znanstveno dokazan blagotvoran učinak na mnoge vaše biljke, ali ima i kontraindikacije koje ne treba podcjenjivati, piše Novi list.

Acetilsalicilna kiselina aktivni je sastojak aspirina i dobiva se iz salicilne kiseline, koja se prirodno nalazi u kori vrbe i mnogim drugim stablima.

Prema nekim istraživanjima, ovaj prirodni lijek za sve zapravo može poboljšati zdravlje vaših biljaka.

1. Prednosti aspirina na rast biljaka

Korištenje aspirina u vrtu može imati znanstveno dokazan blagotvoran učinak na mnoge vaše biljke, ali ima i kontraindikacije koje ne treba podcjenjivati, piše Novi list.

Acetilsalicilna kiselina aktivni je sastojak aspirina i dobiva se iz salicilne kiseline, koja se prirodno nalazi u kori vrbe i mnogim drugim stablima.

Prema nekim istraživanjima, ovaj prirodni lijek za sve zapravo može poboljšati zdravlje vaših biljaka.

1. Prednosti aspirina na rast biljaka

Korištenje aspirina na biljkama čini se korisnim, no postavlja se pitanje zašto? Čini se da biljke same proizvode male količine salicilne kiseline kada su pod stresom.

Ova mala količina pomaže im da se nose s napadima insekata ili kada su previše suhe i pothranjene, a možda čak i s bolešću.

Ova komponenta pomaže jačanju imunološkog sustava biljke, baš kao i nama. Razrijeđena otopina vode i aspirina omogućuje ubrzano klijanje i donekle otpornost na bolesti i štetnike.

Dokazano je da aspirin povećava veličinu i prinos biljaka.

Razlog? Salicilna kiselina poboljšava imunološki odgovor biljaka koje se na taj način mogu obraniti od napada mikroba ili insekata.

Vrtlari sa Sveučilišta Rhode Island prskali su svoje vrtove mješavinom aspirina i vode i otkrili da su biljke rasle brže i bile plodnije od netretirane kontrolne skupine.

2. Pomaže rezanom cvijeću da živi duže

Aspirin bi pomogao biljkama i rezanom cvijeću da žive duže. Kako? Ovaj bi lijek imao zaštitno djelovanje i potaknuo bi rast.

Dokazano je da salicilna kiselina sadržana u aspirinu blokira djelovanje etilena odgovornog za sušenje.

Stoga je kod rezanog cvijeća savjet dodati pola aspirina u litru vode, te otopinu uliti u vazu za cvijeće.

3. Pesticid protiv parazita i gljivičnih oboljenja

Aspirin se može koristiti kao pesticid i kao fungicid.

Postoje neki dokazi koji sugeriraju da salicilna kiselina može igrati ulogu u prevenciji biljnih bolesti, ali nije ljekovita. U jednoj studiji znanstvenici su prskali rasad rajčice salicilnom kiselinom.

Nakon prskanja, biljke su bile izložene patogenu, točnije bakteriji koja uzrokuje bolest. Rano prskanje aspirinom smanjilo je širenje bakterija za gotovo polovicu.

Međutim, čini se da je primjena salicilne kiseline nakon što se bakterijska infekcija već proširila imala mali ili nikakav učinak, vjerojatno zato što je biljka već bila zaražena.

Stoga se smatra da je rana primjena kiseline izazvala preventivnu sistemsku otpornost, što je pomoglo u borbi protiv infekcija.

Dakle, da rezimiramo, iako je moguće da se tablete aspirina otopljene u vodi mogu koristiti za sprječavanje nekih bakterijskih bolesti biljaka, ovaj lijek zapravo nije sredstvo za odvraćanje od štetočina.

4. Povećava otpornost biljaka

Neka istraživanja pokazuju da bi to zapravo moglo biti točno, jer salicilna kiselina i acetilsalicilna kiselina također mogu biti učinkovite u poboljšanju tolerancije biljaka na razne probleme.

5. Kontraindikacije i mjere opreza

Postoje neke potencijalne nuspojave, osobito ako se aspirin koristi nepravilno.

Na primjer, biljke mogu razviti smeđe mrlje na lišću koje izgledaju poput opeklina. Najbolji način da ih zaštitite je prskanje rano ujutro kako bi lišće imalo priliku da se osuši prije večeri.

Još jedna nuspojava primjene aspirina na biljke koju ne treba podcjenjivati ​​tiče se pčela i svih drugih insekata oprašivača koji bi mogli biti oštećeni djelovanjem aspirina.

Ovi insekti su najaktivniji nakon što sunce “poljubi” biljke, pa ako želite koristiti aspirin, najbolje je koristiti ga uglavnom za kućne biljke ili prije izlaska sunca kako biste zaštitili pčele i druge insekte.

Korištenje aspirina u vrtu može imati znanstveno dokazan blagotvoran učinak na mnoge vaše biljke, ali ima i kontraindikacije koje ne treba podcjenjivati, piše Novi list.

Acetilsalicilna kiselina aktivni je sastojak aspirina i dobiva se iz salicilne kiseline, koja se prirodno nalazi u kori vrbe i mnogim drugim stablima.

Prema nekim istraživanjima, ovaj prirodni lijek za sve zapravo može poboljšati zdravlje vaših biljaka.

1. Prednosti aspirina na rast biljaka

Korištenje aspirina na biljkama čini se korisnim, no postavlja se pitanje zašto? Čini se da biljke same proizvode male količine salicilne kiseline kada su pod stresom.
