Umoran od svjedočenja višegodišnjem uništavanju bujnog bazena Amazone brazilski ulični umjetnik Mundano odlučio je prepustiti prirodi da govori sama za sebe: naslikao je divovski mural u Sao Paolu koristeći pepeo koji je skupio iz spaljene prašume kako bi podigao svijest o klimatskim promjenama.

Divovska freska od 1000 četvornih metara pod nazivom "Šumski vatrogasac" predstavlja herojsku figuru koja je bespomoćna pred bijesnim požarom.

"Ideja je proizašla iz nemoći. Desetljećima gledamo paljenje prašume, a posljednjih nekoliko godina to je doseglo rekordnu razinu", rekao je Mundano za AFP.

Mundano, 36, prikupio je 200 kilograma pepela iz različitih područja zahvaćenih požarima kako bi napravio mural na zgradi blizu Avenide Paulista, glavne avenije koja prolazi kroz najveći brazilski grad.

Pepeo je došao iz džungle Amazone, močvara Pantanal, Atlantske šume i savane Cerrado.

Mundano se nada da će njegov mural podići svijest među stanovnicima Sao Paula o ogromnim požarima koji svake godine haraju dragocjenom brazilskom ekosferom.

"Nitko ne vidi požare, oni su jako daleko u bazenu Amazone. Ideja je donijeti pepeo ljudima kako bi se stvorila veća empatija", rekao je Mundano.

U lipnju i srpnju Mundano je iz prve ruke osjetio vrućinu požara kada je otišao po pepeo.

No, ono što je također privuklo njegovu pozornost je stres vatrogasaca koji pokušavaju ugasiti plamen koji nanosi veliku štetu brazilskoj flori i fauni.

Faunu na muralu simbolizira kostur krokodila naslikan pored herojskog vatrogasca.

Cijela je freska izrađena u raznim nijansama crne i sive, ovisno o tome koliko je vode Mundano pomiješao s pepelom.

Crno-bijelo umjetničko djelo u oštroj je suprotnosti sa šarenim grafitima koji krase mnoge zgrade u Sao Paulu.

Umoran od svjedočenja višegodišnjem uništavanju bujnog bazena Amazone brazilski ulični umjetnik Mundano odlučio je prepustiti prirodi da govori sama za sebe: naslikao je divovski mural u Sao Paolu koristeći pepeo koji je skupio iz spaljene prašume kako bi podigao svijest o klimatskim promjenama.

Divovska freska od 1000 četvornih metara pod nazivom "Šumski vatrogasac" predstavlja herojsku figuru koja je bespomoćna pred bijesnim požarom.

"Ideja je proizašla iz nemoći. Desetljećima gledamo paljenje prašume, a posljednjih nekoliko godina to je doseglo rekordnu razinu", rekao je Mundano za AFP.

Mundano, 36, prikupio je 200 kilograma pepela iz različitih područja zahvaćenih požarima kako bi napravio mural na zgradi blizu Avenide Paulista, glavne avenije koja prolazi kroz najveći brazilski grad.

Pepeo je došao iz džungle Amazone, močvara Pantanal, Atlantske šume i savane Cerrado.

Mundano se nada da će njegov mural podići svijest među stanovnicima Sao Paula o ogromnim požarima koji svake godine haraju dragocjenom brazilskom ekosferom.

"Nitko ne vidi požare, oni su jako daleko u bazenu Amazone. Ideja je donijeti pepeo ljudima kako bi se stvorila veća empatija", rekao je Mundano.

U lipnju i srpnju Mundano je iz prve ruke osjetio vrućinu požara kada je otišao po pepeo.

No, ono što je također privuklo njegovu pozornost je stres vatrogasaca koji pokušavaju ugasiti plamen koji nanosi veliku štetu brazilskoj flori i fauni.

Faunu na muralu simbolizira kostur krokodila naslikan pored herojskog vatrogasca.

Cijela je freska izrađena u raznim nijansama crne i sive, ovisno o tome koliko je vode Mundano pomiješao s pepelom.

Crno-bijelo umjetničko djelo u oštroj je suprotnosti sa šarenim grafitima koji krase mnoge zgrade u Sao Paulu.

Umoran od svjedočenja višegodišnjem uništavanju bujnog bazena Amazone brazilski ulični umjetnik Mundano odlučio je prepustiti prirodi da govori sama za sebe: naslikao je divovski mural u Sao Paolu koristeći pepeo koji je skupio iz spaljene prašume kako bi podigao svijest o klimatskim promjenama.

Divovska freska od 1000 četvornih metara pod nazivom "Šumski vatrogasac" predstavlja herojsku figuru koja je bespomoćna pred bijesnim požarom.

"Ideja je proizašla iz nemoći. Desetljećima gledamo paljenje prašume, a posljednjih nekoliko godina to je doseglo rekordnu razinu", rekao je Mundano za AFP.

Mundano, 36, prikupio je 200 kilograma pepela iz različitih područja zahvaćenih požarima kako bi napravio mural na zgradi blizu Avenide Paulista,...
