Istraživači vjeruju da su dešifrirali stoljećima staru misteriju o kultnom majanskom kalendaru od 819 dana.

Drevne su civilizacije koristile ciklus od 819 dana, ali stručnjaci su desetljećima bili u potrazi za odgovorom na to čemu 819 dana točno odgovara, piše Klik.hr.

Nova studija antropologa Johna Lindena i Victorije Bricker sa Sveučilišta Tulane tvrdi da je otkrila poantu, a čini se da je sve što je bilo potrebno je bilo zauzimanje mnogo šireg pogleda na vrijeme. Naime, prijašnja su istraživanja sugerirala da je kalendar povezan sa sinodičkim razdobljima, vremenom koje je potrebno planetu da se vrati na isto mjesto u odnosu na Zemlju i Sunce, ali nije bilo moguće precizno odrediti kako točno funkcionira.

Dvojac je istraživanje započeo razmatranjem šireg vremenskog okvira od 819 dana i umjesto toga promatrao je razdoblje od 45 godina - ili 20 razdoblja od 819 dana. "Iako su prethodna istraživanja nastojala pokazati planetarne veze za brojanje od 819 dana, njegova četverodijelna shema usmjerena bojama je prekratka da bi se dobro uklopila sa sinodičkim razdobljima vidljivih planeta", piše u radu.

"Povećavanjem duljine kalendara na 20 razdoblja od 819 dana, pojavljuje se obrazac u kojem su sinodički periodi svih vidljivih planeta proporcionalni točkama postaja u većem kalendaru od 819 dana", dodaju u studiji.

Iako je sve ovo pomalo zbunjujuće, to u osnovi znači da su Maje slijedile 45-godišnji (16.380 dana) pogled na planetarno poravnanje, kojeg su pretvorile u kalendar. Svaki planet ima drugačije sinodičko razdoblje, a Merkurov ciklus od 115,88 dana prvi je dio slagalice za istraživače, jer se otprilike sedam puta zaustavlja na 819 dana. Ostali planeti vidljivi sa Zemlje i poznati Majama: Venera, Mars, Jupiter i Saturn, imaju slična podudaranja kada su uključeni višestruki ciklusi.

Istraživači vjeruju da su dešifrirali stoljećima staru misteriju o kultnom majanskom kalendaru od 819 dana.

Drevne su civilizacije koristile ciklus od 819 dana, ali stručnjaci su desetljećima bili u potrazi za odgovorom na to čemu 819 dana točno odgovara, piše Klik.hr.

Nova studija antropologa Johna Lindena i Victorije Bricker sa Sveučilišta Tulane tvrdi da je otkrila poantu, a čini se da je sve što je bilo potrebno je bilo zauzimanje mnogo šireg pogleda na vrijeme. Naime, prijašnja su istraživanja sugerirala da je kalendar povezan sa sinodičkim razdobljima, vremenom koje je potrebno planetu da se vrati na isto mjesto u odnosu na Zemlju i Sunce, ali nije bilo moguće precizno odrediti kako točno funkcionira.

Dvojac je istraživanje započeo razmatranjem šireg vremenskog okvira od 819 dana i umjesto toga promatrao je razdoblje od 45 godina - ili 20 razdoblja od 819 dana. "Iako su prethodna istraživanja nastojala pokazati planetarne veze za brojanje od 819 dana, njegova četverodijelna shema usmjerena bojama je prekratka da bi se dobro uklopila sa sinodičkim razdobljima vidljivih planeta", piše u radu.

"Povećavanjem duljine kalendara na 20 razdoblja od 819 dana, pojavljuje se obrazac u kojem su sinodički periodi svih vidljivih planeta proporcionalni točkama postaja u većem kalendaru od 819 dana", dodaju u studiji.

Iako je sve ovo pomalo zbunjujuće, to u osnovi znači da su Maje slijedile 45-godišnji (16.380 dana) pogled na planetarno poravnanje, kojeg su pretvorile u kalendar. Svaki planet ima drugačije sinodičko razdoblje, a Merkurov ciklus od 115,88 dana prvi je dio slagalice za istraživače, jer se otprilike sedam puta zaustavlja na 819 dana. Ostali planeti vidljivi sa Zemlje i poznati Majama: Venera, Mars, Jupiter i Saturn, imaju slična podudaranja kada su uključeni višestruki ciklusi.

Istraživači vjeruju da su dešifrirali stoljećima staru misteriju o kultnom majanskom kalendaru od 819 dana.

Drevne su civilizacije koristile ciklus od 819 dana, ali stručnjaci su desetljećima bili u potrazi za odgovorom na to čemu 819 dana točno odgovara, piše Klik.hr.

Nova studija antropologa Johna Lindena i Victorije Bricker sa Sveučilišta Tulane tvrdi da je otkrila poantu, a čini se da je sve što je bilo potrebno je bilo zauzimanje mnogo šireg pogleda na vrijeme. Naime, prijašnja su istraživanja sugerirala da je kalendar povezan sa sinodičkim razdobljima, vremenom koje je potrebno planetu da se vrati na isto mjesto u odnosu na Zemlju i Sunce, ali nije bilo moguće precizno odrediti kako točno funkcionira.
