Toyota Hilux i Toyota Land Cruiser su klasični modeli japanskog proizvođača koje je teško zamisliti u Europi u drugim izdanjima osim onih s dizel motorom.
Kao što je poznato, EU planira zabraniti prodaju svih automobila s emisijama štetnih plinova od 2035. godine, a to bi posebno moglo pogoditi Toyotu, odnosno njezine navedene terenske modele. U Toyoti su zato došli na ideju da spas pokušaju pronaći u gorivu HVO100 kako bi zadržali dizelaše, a eliminirali zagađenje. HVO100 je gorivo uglavnom biljnog porijekla koje proizvodi Neste u Finskoj. Ističe se višim oktanskim brojem (c80) od standardnog dizela, kao i manjim postotkom sumpora i aromatičnih ugljikovodika. Napravljeno je od sto posto obnovljivih sirovina, a među komponentama ovog goriva su biljno ulje iz palme, uljane repice i reciklirani otpad, kao što je korišteno jestivo ulje koje ne emitira ugljik-dioksid u atmosferu.
Proizvodnja se odvija hidro-tretiranjem biljnih ulja i/ili životinjskih masti. Rezultat je visokokvalitetno gorivo kemijskog sastava identičnog konvencionalnom dizelu. Biljke iz kojih se proizvodi već su “uhvatile” CO2 tijekom svog prethodnog života putem fotosinteze. Kada sada sagorijeva u SUS motoru, ponovno se proizvodi CO2, ali kada se uzme u obzir njegovo porijeklo, te emisije su 90 posto niže nego kada se koristi konvencionalni dizel.
Izvorno namijenjen za industriju teškog transporta, HVO100 je testiran na kamionima. Sintetički dizel ima indeks paljenja između 70 i 90, dok fosilna dizel goriva imaju indeks između 50 i 60. To mu omogućava ne samo zadržavanje postojećih, već i povećanje performansi motora.
Jedini minus ovog goriva je manja gustoća od fosilnog dizela, što zahtijeva manju tehničku prepravku na vozilima. Potrebno je promijeniti sustav ubrizgavanja kako bi se povećao ulazni protok. Prvi primjerci Toyote Hilux i Landa Cruisera koji će koristiti novo gorivo sići će sa proizvodne trake tijekom prvog kvartala sljedeće godine. Treba napomenuti da u državama poput Danske i Švedske već postoji 1000 aktivnih pumpi s ovim gorivom.

Toyota Hilux i Toyota Land Cruiser su klasični modeli japanskog proizvođača koje je teško zamisliti u Europi u drugim izdanjima osim onih s dizel motorom.
Kao što je poznato, EU planira zabraniti prodaju svih automobila s emisijama štetnih plinova od 2035. godine, a to bi posebno moglo pogoditi Toyotu, odnosno njezine navedene terenske modele. U Toyoti su zato došli na ideju da spas pokušaju pronaći u gorivu HVO100 kako bi zadržali dizelaše, a eliminirali zagađenje. HVO100 je gorivo uglavnom biljnog porijekla koje proizvodi Neste u Finskoj. Ističe se višim oktanskim brojem (c80) od standardnog dizela, kao i manjim postotkom sumpora i aromatičnih ugljikovodika. Napravljeno je od sto posto obnovljivih sirovina, a među komponentama ovog goriva su biljno ulje iz palme, uljane repice i reciklirani otpad, kao što je korišteno jestivo ulje koje ne emitira ugljik-dioksid u atmosferu.
Proizvodnja se odvija hidro-tretiranjem biljnih ulja i/ili životinjskih masti. Rezultat je visokokvalitetno gorivo kemijskog sastava identičnog konvencionalnom dizelu. Biljke iz kojih se proizvodi već su “uhvatile” CO2 tijekom svog prethodnog života putem fotosinteze. Kada sada sagorijeva u SUS motoru, ponovno se proizvodi CO2, ali kada se uzme u obzir njegovo porijeklo, te emisije su 90 posto niže nego kada se koristi konvencionalni dizel.
Izvorno namijenjen za industriju teškog transporta, HVO100 je testiran na kamionima. Sintetički dizel ima indeks paljenja između 70 i 90, dok fosilna dizel goriva imaju indeks između 50 i 60. To mu omogućava ne samo zadržavanje postojećih, već i povećanje performansi motora.
Jedini minus ovog goriva je manja gustoća od fosilnog dizela, što zahtijeva manju tehničku prepravku na vozilima. Potrebno je promijeniti sustav ubrizgavanja kako bi se povećao ulazni protok.
