Toyota Hilux jedan je od najpoznatijih pick-up automobila u povijesti. Legendarno izdržljiv radni kamionet ima odlične offroad sposobnosti, no izgleda da su one sada postale "trn u oku" britanske agencije za nadzor oglašavanja.
Ona je, naime, presudila da je kampanja koja pokazuje terensku sposobnost Hiluxa potaknula vozače na "offroad vožnju koja je štetna za okoliš".
Vjeruje se da je ovaj slučaj prvi u kojem je "Agencija za standarde oglašavanja" blokirala neki oglas zbog pokazivanja "nedostatka društvene odgovornosti prema okolišu".
Prijavila neprofitna udruga
Slučaj je agenciji prijavila grupa Adfree Cities, neprofitna skupina koja pokušava osloboditi javne prostore od marketinškog materijala. Radi se o dva oglasa koja su izvorno objavljena 2020. godine, prenosi Jutarnji.
Prvi je video emitiran na društvenim mrežama koji je sadržavao snimke gomile Hiluxa kako se voze preko riječnog korita poput krda divljih životinja u dokumentarcima o prirodi.
Snimka je bila popraćena komentarima naratora "pogledajte jedan od pravih spektakala prirode" i završavala porukom "Toyota Hilux. Rođena da luta".
Drugi zabranjeni oglas je poster koji prikazuje još jednu skupinu Hiluxa koji dižu prašinu u okruženju koje nalikuje na pustinju uz natpis "Rođeni za lutanje".
U svoju obranu, Toyota je agenciji objasnila da je Hilux "namijenjen za najteža okruženja" i da su određene industrije poput poljoprivrede i šumarstva imale istinsku potrebu za terenskim sposobnostima prikazanima u oglasima.

Također je navedeno da je snimka snimljena u Sloveniji na privatnom zemljištu uz dopuštenje vlasnika, te da su napori marke da elektrificira automobile od 1997. dokazali koliko je Toyota predana brizi za planet.
Sve to nije omekšalo birokrate iz agencije u kojoj su, iako su priznali da je scena u videu bila "čista fantazija" i da je Toyota pokušavala ciljati na kupce koji bi zaista mogli trebati pick-up sa stvarnim off-road karakteristikama, presudili da su oglasi "predstavljali i odobravali korištenje vozila na način koji zanemaruje njihov utjecaj na prirodu i okoliš".

Toyota Hilux jedan je od najpoznatijih pick-up automobila u povijesti. Legendarno izdržljiv radni kamionet ima odlične offroad sposobnosti, no izgleda da su one sada postale "trn u oku" britanske agencije za nadzor oglašavanja.
Ona je, naime, presudila da je kampanja koja pokazuje terensku sposobnost Hiluxa potaknula vozače na "offroad vožnju koja je štetna za okoliš".
Vjeruje se da je ovaj slučaj prvi u kojem je "Agencija za standarde oglašavanja" blokirala neki oglas zbog pokazivanja "nedostatka društvene odgovornosti prema okolišu".
Prijavila neprofitna udruga
Slučaj je agenciji prijavila grupa Adfree Cities, neprofitna skupina koja pokušava osloboditi javne prostore od marketinškog materijala. Radi se o dva oglasa koja su izvorno objavljena 2020. godine, prenosi Jutarnji.
Prvi je video emitiran na društvenim mrežama koji je sadržavao snimke gomile Hiluxa kako se voze preko riječnog korita poput krda divljih životinja u dokumentarcima o prirodi.
Snimka je bila popraćena komentarima naratora "pogledajte jedan od pravih spektakala prirode" i završavala porukom "Toyota Hilux. Rođena da luta".
Drugi zabranjeni oglas je poster koji prikazuje još jednu skupinu Hiluxa koji dižu prašinu u okruženju koje nalikuje na pustinju uz natpis "Rođeni za lutanje".
U svoju obranu, Toyota je agenciji objasnila da je Hilux "namijenjen za najteža okruženja" i da su određene industrije poput poljoprivrede i šumarstva imale istinsku potrebu za terenskim sposobnostima prikazanima u oglasima.

Također je navedeno da je snimka snimljena u Sloveniji na privatnom zemljištu uz dopuštenje vlasnika, te da su napori marke da elektrificira automobile od 1997. dokazali koliko je Toyota predana brizi za planet.
Sve to nije omekšalo birokrate iz agencije u kojoj su, iako su priznali da je scena u videu bila "čista fantazija" i da je Toyota pokušavala ciljati na kupce koji bi zaista mogli trebati pick-up sa stvarnim off-road karakteristikama, presudili da su oglasi "predstavljali i odobravali korištenje vozila na način koji zanemaruje njihov utjecaj na prirodu i okoliš".
