Portret glumice Marilyn Monroe koji je izradio Andy Warhol, pop ikona šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, naći će se na dražbi u svibnju, a vrijednost slike procijenjena je na rekordnih 200 milijuna dolara, objavio je u ponedjeljak njujorški Christie's.
Slika pod nazivom 'Shot Sage Blue Marilyn', "mogla bi postati najskuplja slika iz razdoblja 20. stoljeća ikada dosad prodana na aukciji", rekao je Alex Rotter, predsjednik Christie'sa za umjetnost 20. i 21. stoljeća.

Marilynin portret iz 1964. izrađen u sitotisku, prikazuje glumicu sa svijetložutom kosom, ružičastim licem i svijetloplavim sjenilom za oči i jedan je od pet Warholovih portreta Monroe.
Warhol je "na ovim slikama upotrijebio tehniku izrade na svili, koju više nikada nije koristio. Bilo mu je to previše komplicirano", pojasnio je Rotter.
Portret pripada Zakladi Thomasa i Doris Ammann iz Züricha. Sav prihod od prodaje namijenjen je zakladi koja se bavi poboljšanjem životnih uvjeta djece diljem svijeta.

"Prodaja ove slike predstavljat će najveću zaradu s jedne filantropske aukcije još od prodaje djela iz kolekcije Peggy i Davida Rockefellera 2018. godine", rekao je predsjednik američkog Christie'sa Marc Porter.
Dodao je da je dosad najvišu cijena za jednog Warhola Christie's postigao za njegovu sliku "Silver Car Crash (Double Disaster)", koja je godine 2013. prodana za 105 milijuna dolara.

Portret glumice Marilyn Monroe koji je izradio Andy Warhol, pop ikona šezdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, naći će se na dražbi u svibnju, a vrijednost slike procijenjena je na rekordnih 200 milijuna dolara, objavio je u ponedjeljak njujorški Christie's.
Slika pod nazivom 'Shot Sage Blue Marilyn', "mogla bi postati najskuplja slika iz razdoblja 20. stoljeća ikada dosad prodana na aukciji", rekao je Alex Rotter, predsjednik Christie'sa za umjetnost 20. i 21. stoljeća.

Marilynin portret iz 1964. izrađen u sitotisku, prikazuje glumicu sa svijetložutom kosom, ružičastim licem i svijetloplavim sjenilom za oči i jedan je od pet Warholovih portreta Monroe.
Warhol je "na ovim slikama upotrijebio tehniku izrade na svili, koju više nikada nije koristio. Bilo mu je to previše komplicirano", pojasnio je Rotter.
Portret pripada Zakladi Thomasa i Doris Ammann iz Züricha. Sav prihod od prodaje namijenjen je zakladi koja se bavi poboljšanjem životnih uvjeta djece diljem svijeta.

"Prodaja ove slike predstavljat će najveću zaradu s jedne filantropske aukcije još od prodaje djela iz kolekcije Peggy i Davida Rockefellera 2018. godine", rekao je predsjednik američkog Christie'sa Marc Porter.
Dodao je da je dosad najvišu cijena za jednog Warhola Christie's postigao za njegovu sliku "Silver Car Crash (Double Disaster)", koja je godine 2013. prodana za 105 milijuna dolara.
