Ruski pijanist Nikolaj Luganski u Split je stigao na osmo izdanje Piano Loop festivala u sklopu koga će 18. kolovoza s početkom u 21 sat održati recital u koncertnoj dvorani Hrvatskog doma u Splitu.

Splitska publika već je navikla da Piano Loop u njihov grad dovodi pijanističke "face", a Luganski je u samom vrhu pijanističke elite. Cijene ga u domovini gdje je stekao titulu Počasnog umjetnika Ruske Federacije, počasnog člana Ruske akademije umjetnosti te je nagrađen Državnom nagradom Rusije, ali i u inozemstvu gdje bilježi nastupe diljem Europe, SAD-a i u Japanu.

Čim je stigao na intervju u koncertnu dvoranu zasjeo je za novi Steinway kako bi ga upoznao. Neizbježno pitanje bilo je što misli o ambijentu i instrumentu? "Svaki pijanist znatiželjan je na kojem će koncertnom klaviru nastupiti, a ovaj je odličan. Dvorana je vrlo intimna, idealna za pijanističke recitale i komornu glazbu. Žao mi je jedino što zbog epidemioloških mjera još uvijek ne može biti puna."

Prilika za vježbanje

Kako je pandemija utjecala na vaše koncertne aktivnosti?

– Bilo je komplicirano putovati i prelaziti granice pa sam tijekom 2020. godine uglavnom nastupao diljem Rusije, vozeći se od mjesta do mjesta. Mnogo vremena proveo sam kod kuće čitajući i vježbajući, što mi je bila najveća promjena, lijepo iskustvo za glazbenika i prilika za usvajanje novih djela.

Je li pandemija donijela i promjene u vašem pedagoškom radu na Moskovskom konzervatoriju?

– Zbog čestih putovanja ne mogu držati svoju klasu već radim kao asistent. U Moskvi smo imali samo tri mjeseca kompletnog zatvaranja, a tada sam studente preslušavao putem snimki te im dijelio savjete i komentare. Glazbu je moguće učiti na razne načine: čitajući partiture, slušajući ili razgovorom. Mnogi pobjednici važnih natjecanja koji su imali divne profesore nakon završetka studija desetljećima vuku repertoar poput stare prtljage. Ovo je bila prilika studentima da se osamostale, iako nemaju svi iste uvjete za vježbanje.

Dolazi vječnost

Na splitskom recitalu izvest ćete dvije Beethovenove sonate koje dijeli dvadeset godina od nastanka. Kako biste ih usporedili?

– Iako postaje neke sličnosti među njima, veće su razlike. U Mjesečevoj sonati jako je važan pedal, bez koga ona ne bi bila ista skladba. U Beethovenovoj glazbi vrijeme je vrlo važna komponenta, a naročito je impresivno kada se u drugom stavku Sonate br. 32 fizički zaustave otkucaji, a time i vrijeme. Dolazi vječnost, nema ciljeva ni žurbe kao u vrlo aktivnom, gotovo agresivnom prvom stavku, te počinjete egzistirati u vječnosti. Iako je svaka Beethovenova sonata vrlo duboka, opus mu sazrijevanjem postaje sve kompleksniji iz filozofskog aspekta.

Na koji način ste povezani uz Études-Tableaux, op. 33 i 39 Sergeja Rahmanjinova, majstorskim djelom koje ste cjelokupno snimili na kompaktnom disku još s devetnaest godina?

– On mi je jedan od omiljenih skladatelja, koji je uz Chopina i Liszta simbol pijanističke glazbe. Devet etida iz Études-Tableaux, op. 39 bile su posljednje kompletno Rahmanjinovo djelo prije negoli je napustio Rusiju. Većina Rahmanjinovih skladbi je u molskom tonalitetu, obavijenih tugom i nostalgijom, a kao dobar poznavatelj ruskih kulturnih zbivanja u ratnim godinama gotovo je predvidio nadolazeću katastrofu. Trenutno uglavnom sviram odabir etida, ali sljedeće sezone planiram ponoviti integralnu izvedbu. Rahmanjinov nakon emigracije nije bio jednako plodan skladatelj kao u domovini, ali načinio je neke vrlo vrijedne transkripcije, među kojima je Bachova Suita iz violinske partite u E-duru, koju također izvodim u Splitu.

Luganski nema tajni recept uspjeha, smatra da je savjete jednostavnije davati nego prihvatiti. Najvažnija je znatiželja za glazbom koja je postala njegov život, u čijem svakom trenutku uživa neovisno o okolnostima.

Ruski pijanist Nikolaj Luganski u Split je stigao na osmo izdanje Piano Loop festivala u sklopu koga će 18. kolovoza s početkom u 21 sat održati recital u koncertnoj dvorani Hrvatskog doma u Splitu.

Splitska publika već je navikla da Piano Loop u njihov grad dovodi pijanističke "face", a Luganski je u samom vrhu pijanističke elite. Cijene ga u domovini gdje je stekao titulu Počasnog umjetnika Ruske Federacije, počasnog člana Ruske akademije umjetnosti te je nagrađen Državnom nagradom Rusije, ali i u inozemstvu gdje bilježi nastupe diljem Europe, SAD-a i u Japanu.

Čim je stigao na intervju u koncertnu dvoranu zasjeo je za novi Steinway kako bi ga upoznao. Neizbježno pitanje bilo je što misli o ambijentu i instrumentu? "Svaki pijanist znatiželjan je na kojem će koncertnom klaviru nastupiti, a ovaj je odličan. Dvorana je vrlo intimna, idealna za pijanističke recitale i komornu glazbu. Žao mi je jedino što zbog epidemioloških mjera još uvijek ne može biti puna."

Prilika za vježbanje

Kako je pandemija utjecala na vaše koncertne aktivnosti?

– Bilo je komplicirano putovati i prelaziti granice pa sam tijekom 2020. godine uglavnom nastupao diljem Rusije, vozeći se od mjesta do mjesta. Mnogo vremena proveo sam kod kuće čitajući i vježbajući, što mi je bila najveća promjena, lijepo iskustvo za glazbenika i prilika za usvajanje novih djela.

Je li pandemija donijela i promjene u vašem pedagoškom radu na Moskovskom konzervatoriju?

– Zbog čestih putovanja ne mogu držati svoju klasu već radim kao asistent. U Moskvi smo imali samo tri mjeseca kompletnog zatvaranja, a tada sam studente preslušavao putem snimki te im dijelio savjete i komentare. Glazbu je moguće učiti na razne načine: čitajući partiture, slušajući ili razgovorom. Mnogi pobjednici važnih natjecanja koji su imali divne profesore nakon završetka studija desetljećima vuku repertoar poput stare prtljage. Ovo je bila prilika studentima da se osamostale, iako nemaju svi iste uvjete za vježbanje.

Dolazi vječnost

Na splitskom recitalu izvest ćete dvije Beethovenove sonate koje dijeli dvadeset godina od nastanka. Kako biste ih usporedili?

– Iako postaje neke sličnosti među njima, veće su razlike. U Mjesečevoj sonati jako je važan pedal, bez koga ona ne bi bila ista skladba. U Beethovenovoj glazbi vrijeme je vrlo važna komponenta, a naročito je impresivno kada se u drugom stavku Sonate br. 32 fizički zaustave otkucaji, a time i vrijeme. Dolazi vječnost, nema ciljeva ni žurbe kao u vrlo aktivnom, gotovo agresivnom prvom stavku, te počinjete egzistirati u vječnosti. Iako je svaka Beethovenova sonata vrlo duboka, opus mu sazrijevanjem postaje sve kompleksniji iz filozofskog aspekta.

Na koji način ste povezani uz Études-Tableaux, op. 33 i 39 Sergeja Rahmanjinova, majstorskim djelom koje ste cjelokupno snimili na kompaktnom disku još s devetnaest godina?

– On mi je jedan od omiljenih skladatelja, koji je uz Chopina i Liszta simbol pijanističke glazbe. Devet etida iz Études-Tableaux, op. 39 bile su posljednje kompletno Rahmanjinovo djelo prije negoli je napustio Rusiju. Većina Rahmanjinovih skladbi je u molskom tonalitetu, obavijenih tugom i nostalgijom, a kao dobar poznavatelj ruskih kulturnih zbivanja u ratnim godinama gotovo je predvidio nadolazeću katastrofu. Trenutno uglavnom sviram odabir etida, ali sljedeće sezone planiram ponoviti integralnu izvedbu. Rahmanjinov nakon emigracije nije bio jednako plodan skladatelj kao u domovini, ali načinio je neke vrlo vrijedne transkripcije, među kojima je Bachova Suita iz violinske partite u E-duru, koju također izvodim u Splitu.

Luganski nema tajni recept uspjeha, smatra da je savjete jednostavnije davati nego prihvatiti. Najvažnija je znatiželja za glazbom koja je postala njegov život, u čijem svakom trenutku uživa neovisno o okolnostima.
