Milijuni obožavatelja odavno tragično preminulog Brucea Leeja sigurno u svojem sjećanju, na posebnom mjestu, imaju urezanu scenu iz filma "U zmajevom gnijezdu" u kojoj neprežaljena borilačka ikona, nakon epski zadanih batina, ubija lika riđe kose s upečatljivim ožiljkom na licu tako što mu skače objema nogama na prsa i s neponovljivom grimasom na licu ispušta čuveni "bruslijevski" urlik.

Mnogi se sjećaju da je Lee u kultnom filmu iz 1973. godine, prije negoli je sredio bahatog bradonju s ožiljkom koji je u filmu bio tjelohranitelj glavnog negativca Hana i direktni krivac za smrt njegove "filmske" sestre, a nakon što je ovaj nadmoćno šakom razbio dasku ispred lica "Malog Zmaja", izgovorio legendarnu rečenicu: "Daske ne uzvraćaju udarac!" A onda ga je dobro "natamburao".

No, ono što znaju samo rijetki fanatični ljubitelji borilačkih sportova i Leejevih filmova jest da se taj bradati negativac koji niti s dvije razbijene boce u ruci, nakon pretrpljenih batina, u filmu nije uspio "niti taknuti" Brucea, zvao Bob (Robert) Wall i da je u ponedjeljak umro u Kaliforniji u 82. godini života. Uzrok njegove smrti još nije poznat.

Wall je bio trofejni karatist sredinom i krajem 60-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, a nakon što je njegov partner prodao svoj udio u njihovu uspješnom "karate-studiju" čuvenom Chucku Norrisu, Wall je nastavio trenirati i blisko surađivati s legendarnim Chuckom.

"U zmajevom gnijezdu" nije jedini film u kojem je glumio s Bruceom Leejem, tu su još i "Na zmajevom putu" i "Igra smrti", a tumačio je uloge u još desetak manje poznatih filmova s borilačkom tematikom.

No, scena borbe iz najpoznatijeg Leejeva filma sigurno je najupečatljivija u njegovoj karijeri, posebice zbog toga što je tučnjava između Walla i Leeja bila stvarna, kako bi sve izgledalo što realističnije, zbog čega je Wall tada završio s nekoliko slomljenih rebara.

Wall je imao crni pojas 9. stupnja pod Chuckom Norrisom i bio je suosnivač i izvršni direktor organizacije borilačkih vještina poznate kao World Black Belt Inc.

Dvije godine nakon što je odigrao epsku ulogu s Leejem, napisao je knjigu "Tko je tko u borilačkim vještinama" i "Imenik crnih pojaseva", prve knjige takve vrste za borilačke vještine.

"Borilačka zajednica izgubila je još jednu od svojih legendi. Moj prijatelj više od 50 godina, veliki majstor Bob Wall, preminuo je i mnogima će nedostajati", napisao je na svojoj službenoj stranici legendarni Chuck Norris, a na službenoj stranici "Malog Zmaja" na istoj društvenoj mreži stoji: "Počivaj u miru. Bob Wall 1939. – 2022." uz više tisuća komentara i izraza sućuti obožavatelja iz cijelog svijeta.

Na internetu se može naći i da je Wall bio dosta svjetski poznat po svojem javnom suparništvu s još jednom borilačko-glumačkom zvijezdom, Stevenom Seagalom, koje je trajalo od 1988. do 1992. godine.

Sve je, prema Wikipediji, počelo kad je Seagal u intervjuima omalovažavao Brucea Leeja, Chucka Norrisa i neke druge američke borilačke zvijezde, a kulminiralo je kad je Seagal u časopisu "Crni pojas" izjavio da će se boriti do smrti protiv svakoga tko vjeruje da ga može pobijediti.

Wall je, ogorčen njegovim hvalisanjem i ponižavanjem legendi, okupio nekoliko borilačkih prvaka kako bi se svaki od njih "pobio" sa Seagalom, no do toga nikad nije došlo.

Milijuni obožavatelja odavno tragično preminulog Brucea Leeja sigurno u svojem sjećanju, na posebnom mjestu, imaju urezanu scenu iz filma "U zmajevom gnijezdu" u kojoj neprežaljena borilačka ikona, nakon epski zadanih batina, ubija lika riđe kose s upečatljivim ožiljkom na licu tako što mu skače objema nogama na prsa i s neponovljivom grimasom na licu ispušta čuveni "bruslijevski" urlik.

Mnogi se sjećaju da je Lee u kultnom filmu iz 1973. godine, prije negoli je sredio bahatog bradonju s ožiljkom koji je u filmu bio tjelohranitelj glavnog negativca Hana i direktni krivac za smrt njegove "filmske" sestre, a nakon što je ovaj nadmoćno šakom razbio dasku ispred lica "Malog Zmaja", izgovorio legendarnu rečenicu: "Daske ne uzvraćaju udarac!" A onda ga je dobro "natamburao".

No, ono što znaju samo rijetki fanatični ljubitelji borilačkih sportova i Leejevih filmova jest da se taj bradati negativac koji niti s dvije razbijene boce u ruci, nakon pretrpljenih batina, u filmu nije uspio "niti taknuti" Brucea, zvao Bob (Robert) Wall i da je u ponedjeljak umro u Kaliforniji u 82. godini života. Uzrok njegove smrti još nije poznat.

Wall je bio trofejni karatist sredinom i krajem 60-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, a nakon što je njegov partner prodao svoj udio u njihovu uspješnom "karate-studiju" čuvenom Chucku Norrisu, Wall je nastavio trenirati i blisko surađivati s legendarnim Chuckom.

"U zmajevom gnijezdu" nije jedini film u kojem je glumio s Bruceom Leejem, tu su još i "Na zmajevom putu" i "Igra smrti", a tumačio je uloge u još desetak manje poznatih filmova s borilačkom tematikom.

No, scena borbe iz najpoznatijeg Leejeva filma sigurno je najupečatljivija u njegovoj karijeri, posebice zbog toga što je tučnjava između Walla i Leeja bila stvarna, kako bi sve izgledalo što realističnije, zbog čega je Wall tada završio s nekoliko slomljenih rebara.

Wall je imao crni pojas 9. stupnja pod Chuckom Norrisom i bio je suosnivač i izvršni direktor organizacije borilačkih vještina poznate kao World Black Belt Inc.

Dvije godine nakon što je odigrao epsku ulogu s Leejem, napisao je knjigu "Tko je tko u borilačkim vještinama" i "Imenik crnih pojaseva", prve knjige takve vrste za borilačke vještine.

"Borilačka zajednica izgubila je još jednu od svojih legendi. Moj prijatelj više od 50 godina, veliki majstor Bob Wall, preminuo je i mnogima će nedostajati", napisao je na svojoj službenoj stranici legendarni Chuck Norris, a na službenoj stranici "Malog Zmaja" na istoj društvenoj mreži stoji: "Počivaj u miru. Bob Wall 1939. – 2022." uz više tisuća komentara i izraza sućuti obožavatelja iz cijelog svijeta.

Na internetu se može naći i da je Wall bio dosta svjetski poznat po svojem javnom suparništvu s još jednom borilačko-glumačkom zvijezdom, Stevenom Seagalom, koje je trajalo od 1988. do 1992. godine.

Sve je, prema Wikipediji, počelo kad je Seagal u intervjuima omalovažavao Brucea Leeja, Chucka Norrisa i neke druge američke borilačke zvijezde, a kulminiralo je kad je Seagal u časopisu "Crni pojas" izjavio da će se boriti do smrti protiv svakoga tko vjeruje da ga može pobijediti.

Wall je, ogorčen njegovim hvalisanjem i ponižavanjem legendi, okupio nekoliko borilačkih prvaka kako bi se svaki od njih "pobio" sa Seagalom, no do toga nikad nije došlo.

Milijuni obožavatelja odavno tragično preminulog Brucea Leeja sigurno u svojem sjećanju, na posebnom mjestu, imaju urezanu scenu iz filma "U zmajevom gnijezdu" u kojoj neprežaljena borilačka ikona, nakon epski zadanih batina, ubija lika riđe kose s upečatljivim ožiljkom na licu tako što mu skače objema nogama na prsa i s neponovljivom grimasom na licu ispušta čuveni "bruslijevski" urlik.
