Radijski novinar u izvedbi Joaquina Phoenixa krenuo je na proputovanje SAD-om u američkom nezavisnom filmu “Idemo, idemo” kako bi intervjuirao klince i adolescente u vezi budućnosti, njihove i općenito. Mladi sugovornici su izražavali svoje snove, nade i strahove, a zanimljivo je da nisu bili glumci, već naturščici, što je filmu Mikea Millsa iz 2021. davalo autentičnost i približavalo ga dokumentarcu.

Zanimljivo, 2021. je premijeru imao i slično postavljeni talijanski dokumentarni film “Futura” redateljskog trojca Alice Rohrwacher – Pietro Marcello – ​Francesco Munzi, prikazan u Cannesu. Rohrwacher, Marcello i Munzi putovali su Italijom 2019. i 2020. posjećujući gradove, predgrađa i provincije te ispitivali raznolike grupe mladih Talijana između 15 i 20 godina kako su zamislili ili zamišljaju (svoju) budućnost.

”Nisu djeca, ali ni odrasli, bore se s teškim zadatkom da postanu odrasli”, slušamo naraciju redateljice Rohrwacher, najpoznatije i najnagrađivanije među troje filmaša (“Sretni Lazzaro”). Na pitanja “Što je budućnost?”, “Što je budućnost za tebe?” i “Kako zamišljate svoj život u budućnosti?” mladi daju raznolike odgovore i u tim opservacijama se očituje njihov ne odveć optimističan pogled na svijet oko sebe, svijet odraslih, od Italije nadalje.

Izjave “Odrasli misle da su veliki, ali nisu”, “Naša budućnost je posljedica naših izbora u sadašnjosti” i “Budućnost je niz sutrašnjica” spadaju među najbolje u filmu fokusiranom na srednjoškolce i studente koji mahom žele male stvari, ljubav, sreću, obitelj, posao, financijsku i inu neovisnost, svijet bez diskriminacije.

Jedni od njih predlažu svijet bez novca, drugi bi nastojali priuštiti mami sve što je propustila dok ga je odgajala i školovala. Svi se slažu da je talijansko školstvo kvalitetno, ali i prigovaraju da Italija ne pokazuje brigu za mlade i da posla za njih baš i nema, zbog čega razmatraju da se odsele. Smatraju i da ne možeš promijeniti Italiju ako nisi nikad iskusio život izvan Italije.

Mladi drže da je društvo već sad “individualno”, ne “kolektivno” jer ljudi se sve više brinu za sebe, a manje za druge ljude. Ističu i loš utjecaj tehnologije i društvenih mreža na mlade. Budućnost će vjerojatno biti drukčija od one kakvu su zamišljali njihovi roditelji, teško “dobra”.

Egzistencijalizmu i pesimizmu mladih kumovala je i korona koja je “promijenila snove i raspoloženja”, poljuljala očekivanja i nadanja, te pospješila njihove strahove od sutrašnjice i kumovala tjeskobama, napadajima panike i depresijama. Snimanje dokumentarca je počelo krajem 2019., da bi se prekinulo i nastavilo polovicom pandemijske 2020. godine.

Neki mladi nose maske, a rezignacija i melankolija još više napučuju u kadar. Najednom pitanje “Brine li vas budućnost?” ima veću težinu za mlade pred kojima je cijeli život, ali i starije. Film hvata duh trenutka i potiče na razmišljanje. Gledatelj vidi nekadašnjeg sebe u mladim akterima i pita se gdje će oni biti za nekoliko godina, pa i on sam. Pitanje individualnog i kolektivnog futura u “Futuri” ostaje otvoreno poput otvorenog kraja filma s klinkom kako trči po snijegu i bježi od odraslih koji je hvataju.

Redateljica Alice Rohrwacher ima sestru, glumicu Albu, koju osim iz njezinih projekata znamo i po nastupima u filmovima “Želim nešto više”, “Potpuni stranci”, “Ulica u Palermu”, “Moja kći”...

Radijski novinar u izvedbi Joaquina Phoenixa krenuo je na proputovanje SAD-om u američkom nezavisnom filmu “Idemo, idemo” kako bi intervjuirao klince i adolescente u vezi budućnosti, njihove i općenito. Mladi sugovornici su izražavali svoje snove, nade i strahove, a zanimljivo je da nisu bili glumci, već naturščici, što je filmu Mikea Millsa iz 2021. davalo autentičnost i približavalo ga dokumentarcu.

Zanimljivo, 2021. je premijeru imao i slično postavljeni talijanski dokumentarni film “Futura” redateljskog trojca Alice Rohrwacher – Pietro Marcello – ​Francesco Munzi, prikazan u Cannesu. Rohrwacher, Marcello i Munzi putovali su Italijom 2019. i 2020. posjećujući gradove, predgrađa i provincije te ispitivali raznolike grupe mladih Talijana između 15 i 20 godina kako su zamislili ili zamišljaju (svoju) budućnost.

”Nisu djeca, ali ni odrasli, bore se s teškim zadatkom da postanu odrasli”, slušamo naraciju redateljice Rohrwacher, najpoznatije i najnagrađivanije među troje filmaša (“Sretni Lazzaro”). Na pitanja “Što je budućnost?”, “Što je budućnost za tebe?” i “Kako zamišljate svoj život u budućnosti?” mladi daju raznolike odgovore i u tim opservacijama se očituje njihov ne odveć optimističan pogled na svijet oko sebe, svijet odraslih, od Italije nadalje.

Izjave “Odrasli misle da su veliki, ali nisu”, “Naša budućnost je posljedica naših izbora u sadašnjosti” i “Budućnost je niz sutrašnjica” spadaju među najbolje u filmu fokusiranom na srednjoškolce i studente koji mahom žele male stvari, ljubav, sreću, obitelj, posao, financijsku i inu neovisnost, svijet bez diskriminacije.

Jedni od njih predlažu svijet bez novca, drugi bi nastojali priuštiti mami sve što je propustila dok ga je odgajala i školovala. Svi se slažu da je talijansko školstvo kvalitetno, ali i prigovaraju da Italija ne pokazuje brigu za mlade i da posla za njih baš i nema, zbog čega razmatraju da se odsele. Smatraju i da ne možeš promijeniti Italiju ako nisi nikad iskusio život izvan Italije.

Mladi drže da je društvo već sad “individualno”, ne “kolektivno” jer ljudi se sve više brinu za sebe, a manje za druge ljude. Ističu i loš utjecaj tehnologije i društvenih mreža na mlade. Budućnost će vjerojatno biti drukčija od one kakvu su zamišljali njihovi roditelji, teško “dobra”.

Egzistencijalizmu i pesimizmu mladih kumovala je i korona koja je “promijenila snove i raspoloženja”, poljuljala očekivanja i nadanja, te pospješila njihove strahove od sutrašnjice i kumovala tjeskobama, napadajima panike i depresijama. Snimanje dokumentarca je počelo krajem 2019., da bi se prekinulo i nastavilo polovicom pandemijske 2020. godine.

Neki mladi nose maske, a rezignacija i melankolija još više napučuju u kadar. Najednom pitanje “Brine li vas budućnost?” ima veću težinu za mlade pred kojima je cijeli život, ali i starije. Film hvata duh trenutka i potiče na razmišljanje. Gledatelj vidi nekadašnjeg sebe u mladim akterima i pita se gdje će oni biti za nekoliko godina, pa i on sam. Pitanje individualnog i kolektivnog futura u “Futuri” ostaje otvoreno poput otvorenog kraja filma s klinkom kako trči po snijegu i bježi od odraslih koji je hvataju.

Redateljica Alice Rohrwacher ima sestru, glumicu Albu, koju osim iz njezinih projekata znamo i po nastupima u filmovima “Želim nešto više”, “Potpuni stranci”, “Ulica u Palermu”, “Moja kći”...
