Zelovo je jedno od 14 naselja koja administrativno pripadaju gradu Sinji i jedino čijim malobrojnim stanovnicima nije osigurana uredna vodoopskrba.

Gradonačelnik i zelovski zet Miro Bulj tvrdi da će do isteka njegova mandata na čelu alkarskoga grada i za to naselje biti pokrenuta izgradnja vodoopskrbnog sustava. Do Zelova se iz Sinja ne može stići izravno već preko prostora općina Hrvace ili Muć.

To naselje smješteno je pod Svilajom, na oko 900 metara nadmorske visine. Prema lanjskom popisu, u Zelovu žive 122 stanovnika ili gotovo 60 manje nego što ih je zabilježeno 2011. godine.

Realna brojka stalnih stanovnika ovoga naselja sigurno je manja od službene koju je objavio Državni zavod za statistiku, ali zato vikendom naselje oživi jer u selo stižu Zelovljani koji žive u Splitu, Solinu, Kaštelima...

U skladu s tom "seobom" je u dob stanovnika. Oni stalni uglavnom spadaju u starije, u pravilu "50 plus", dok vikendima stižu njihova djeca sa svojim potomcima koji tako naselju ulijevaju život.

Kao rubno naselje udaljeno 14 kilometara od Sinja, uvijek je bilo na repu ulaganja u komunalnu infrastrukturu. Prvu cestu koja ih je asfaltom spojila s Hrvacama izgradili su sami, dobrovoljnim radnim akcijama kojih je glavni organizator bio seoski pop, mjesni župnik, i tadašnji predsjednik Mjesne zajednice poznat po životu s dvije žene.

Budući da su u to vrijeme, a radilo se o 80-im godinama prošloga stoljeća, Zelovljani bili zaposleni u splitsko-solinskom bazenu mnogi su kućama dolazili samo vikendom. Upravo vikendima su se mogle organizirati ozbiljnije radne akcije.

Vidjevši koliko je cesta od životne važnosti za selo, župnik je odlučio potaknuti mještane na što veći odaziv. Budući da su u pravilu svi bili praktični vjernici, pop ih je s oltara pozivao da slijedeće nedjelje svi dođu na radnu akciju probijanja ceste.

To će im se, govorio je, računati kao da su bili na misi. Uspjeh, naravno, nije izostao, a pop po imenu don Jakov Dragušica ostao je Zelovljanima trajno u najljepšem sjećanju. Jednako kao i tadašnji prvi čovjek sela Jozo Domazet zvani Stević, koji je na radne akcije stizao prvi s obje svoje žene s kojima je skladno živio pod istim krovom.

Tih vremena kada su dobili asfalt Zelovljani se i danas rado sjećaju. Ali od sjećanja se ne živi. Posebno ljeti kada zavlada nesnosna suša, a bunarima se ugleda dno, koje ostaje bez kapi vode.

Bezvodica je bila i prošloga ljeta kada je zbog dugotrajne suše jedina voda koju su Zelovljani koristili bila ona pristigla kamionima cisternama iz Sinja.

- Zelovu se dugo obećavala vodoopskrba izgradnjom vodovoda, ali sve je ostajalo na obećanjima. Grad je lani izradio idejni projekt vodoopskrbe toga naselja i u lipnju ove godine dobili smo lokacijsku dozvolu.

Bit će potrebno izgraditi 13 kilometara tlačnog cjevovoda s dvije precrpne stanice te, naravno, vodospremu i razvodnu mrežu. Procijenjena vrijednost projekta je oko 23 milijuna kuna.

Sada je u tijeku izrada glavnog projekta. U sve je uključena i naša komunalna tvrtka "Vodovod i odvodnja Cetinske krajine". Projekt ćemo za financiranje kandidirati "Hrvatskim vodama".

Vjerujem da ga neće odbiti jer nitko nema pravo uskratiti vodu žednom. Planiramo da u ovome mandatu gradske vlasti počnu radovi na izgradnji – kaže gradonačelnik Bulj.

Voda koja je inače izvor života mogla bi oživjeti i Zelovo. Potencijali toga naselja su višestruki, od stočarstva koje se unatoč svemu još uvijek održava do proizvodnje povrća, naročito ekstra kvalitetnih krumpira.

Tijekom zimskih mjeseci u samom mjestu i na obližnjim još višim padinama Svilaje osiguravaju se snježne zimske radosti koje u špicama znaju privući na stotine gostiju. Kada stigne voda sigurno će se pokrenuti ulaganja u smještajne kapacitete, bilo izgradnjom novih objekata ili obnovom postojećih kuća koje se već dugo ne koriste.

Bez vode sa sigurnošću se može očekivati daljnje demografsko pustošenje Zelova. Ako zelovski zet Bulj rodnom naselju svoje supruge osigura vodu u lijepim sjećanjima Zelovljanima osigurat će mjesto uz popa Dragušicu i Jozu-Stevića.

Zelovo je jedno od 14 naselja koja administrativno pripadaju gradu Sinji i jedino čijim malobrojnim stanovnicima nije osigurana uredna vodoopskrba.

Gradonačelnik i zelovski zet Miro Bulj tvrdi da će do isteka njegova mandata na čelu alkarskoga grada i za to naselje biti pokrenuta izgradnja vodoopskrbnog sustava. Do Zelova se iz Sinja ne može stići izravno već preko prostora općina Hrvace ili Muć.

To naselje smješteno je pod Svilajom, na oko 900 metara nadmorske visine. Prema lanjskom popisu, u Zelovu žive 122 stanovnika ili gotovo 60 manje nego što ih je zabilježeno 2011. godine.

Realna brojka stalnih stanovnika ovoga naselja sigurno je manja od službene koju je objavio Državni zavod za statistiku, ali zato vikendom naselje oživi jer u selo stižu Zelovljani koji žive u Splitu, Solinu, Kaštelima...

U skladu s tom "seobom" je u dob stanovnika. Oni stalni uglavnom spadaju u starije, u pravilu "50 plus", dok vikendima stižu njihova djeca sa svojim potomcima koji tako naselju ulijevaju život.

Kao rubno naselje udaljeno 14 kilometara od Sinja, uvijek je bilo na repu ulaganja u komunalnu infrastrukturu. Prvu cestu koja ih je asfaltom spojila s Hrvacama izgradili su sami, dobrovoljnim radnim akcijama kojih je glavni organizator bio seoski pop, mjesni župnik, i tadašnji predsjednik Mjesne zajednice poznat po životu s dvije žene.

Budući da su u to vrijeme, a radilo se o 80-im godinama prošloga stoljeća, Zelovljani bili zaposleni u splitsko-solinskom bazenu mnogi su kućama dolazili samo vikendom. Upravo vikendima su se mogle organizirati ozbiljnije radne akcije.

Vidjevši koliko je cesta od životne važnosti za selo, župnik je odlučio potaknuti mještane na što veći odaziv. Budući da su u pravilu svi bili praktični vjernici, pop ih je s oltara pozivao da slijedeće nedjelje svi dođu na radnu akciju probijanja ceste.

To će im se, govorio je, računati kao da su bili na misi. Uspjeh, naravno, nije izostao, a pop po imenu don Jakov Dragušica ostao je Zelovljanima trajno u najljepšem sjećanju. Jednako kao i tadašnji prvi čovjek sela Jozo Domazet zvani Stević, koji je na radne akcije stizao prvi s obje svoje žene s kojima je skladno živio pod istim krovom.

Tih vremena kada su dobili asfalt Zelovljani se i danas rado sjećaju. Ali od sjećanja se ne živi. Posebno ljeti kada zavlada nesnosna suša, a bunarima se ugleda dno, koje ostaje bez kapi vode.

Bezvodica je bila i prošloga ljeta kada je zbog dugotrajne suše jedina voda koju su Zelovljani koristili bila ona pristigla kamionima cisternama iz Sinja.

- Zelovu se dugo obećavala vodoopskrba izgradnjom vodovoda, ali sve je ostajalo na obećanjima. Grad je lani izradio idejni projekt vodoopskrbe toga naselja i u lipnju ove godine dobili smo lokacijsku dozvolu.

Bit će potrebno izgraditi 13 kilometara tlačnog cjevovoda s dvije precrpne stanice te, naravno, vodospremu i razvodnu mrežu. Procijenjena vrijednost projekta je oko 23 milijuna kuna.

Sada je u tijeku izrada glavnog projekta. U sve je uključena i naša komunalna tvrtka "Vodovod i odvodnja Cetinske krajine". Projekt ćemo za financiranje kandidirati "Hrvatskim vodama".

Vjerujem da ga neće odbiti jer nitko nema pravo uskratiti vodu žednom. Planiramo da u ovome mandatu gradske vlasti počnu radovi na izgradnji – kaže gradonačelnik Bulj.

Voda koja je inače izvor života mogla bi oživjeti i Zelovo. Potencijali toga naselja su višestruki, od stočarstva koje se unatoč svemu još uvijek održava do proizvodnje povrća, naročito ekstra kvalitetnih krumpira.

Tijekom zimskih mjeseci u samom mjestu i na obližnjim još višim padinama Svilaje osiguravaju se snježne zimske radosti koje u špicama znaju privući na stotine gostiju. Kada stigne voda sigurno će se pokrenuti ulaganja u smještajne kapacitete, bilo izgradnjom novih objekata ili obnovom postojećih kuća koje se već dugo ne koriste.

Bez vode sa sigurnošću se može očekivati daljnje demografsko pustošenje Zelova. Ako zelovski zet Bulj rodnom naselju svoje supruge osigura vodu u lijepim sjećanjima Zelovljanima osigurat će mjesto uz popa Dragušicu i Jozu-Stevića.
