Današnja nesreća na cesti Omiš – Radmanove mlinice, kada je stijena pala na automobil čiji vozač samo pukom srećom nije pretrpio ozbiljnije ozljede, još jednom je otvorila temu o manjku timova Hitne pomoći koji bi tijekom godine, a pogotovo u turističkoj sezoni, trebali biti na raspolaganju domicilnom stanovništvu, kao i gostima.
Dakle, u Omišu postoji jedan zdrastveni Tim 1 (liječnik, medicinska sestra/tehničar i vozač) koji pokriva sve ovakve ili slične događaje. Taj tim trebao je odvesti vozača Audija na koji je pala stijena s obronaka kanjona Cetine u KBC Split na daljnju medicinsku obradu.
Da bi obavili svoj posao, što uključuje dolazak na mjesto događaja, pregled vozača i njegovo odvoženje u bolnicu te povratak u Omiš, toj ekipi Zavoda za hitnu medicinu Splitsko-dalmatinske županije trebalo je najmanje sat vremena, a u turističkoj sezoni trebalo bi im i znatno više, jer su gužve postale epske.
Za to vrijeme u Omišu i okolnim mjestima koja mu gravitiraju više se, u zdravstvenom smislu, ne smije nikome ništa dogoditi jer Hitna pomoć ne može doći po bilo kojega građanina budući da u Omišu ne postoji nijedan drugi tim. Najbliži se nalaze u Šestanovcu, udaljenom 28 kilometara, Makarskoj (36,5 kilometara) ili Splitu (25,6 kilometara).
Te udaljenosti u trenu postaju iznimno daleke u okolnostima kada netko primjerice dobije srčani udar, a nema mogućnosti da se preveze do splitske bolnice. U tom slučaju jedino može pozvati taksi ili sjesti u "Prometovu" autobus na liniji broj 60. No, u tom slučaju ne vjerujemo da bi osoba živa stigla do Splita.
Problem nedostatka timova Hitne pomoći bio bi vrlo lako rješiv kada bi postojalo malo više političke volje. Odnosno kada bi političari, koji, naravno, sve znaju najbolje, pa tako i koliko će hitnih timova biti na nekom području, donijeli odluku da Omišu treba i jedan Tim 2 (dva medicinska tehničara ili medicinska sestra i tehničar, od kojih bi jedan od njih bio i vozač) koji bi "uskakali" kad je Tim 1 zauzet.
Ovakva je situacija tijekom zime i u Trogiru, a ljeti je razlika u tome što Trogir ipak dobije jedan Tim 2 na Čiovu.
Turistička je sezona pred vratima i krajnje je vrijeme da se nešto učini u tom pogledu, a ne da dočekamo sezonu nepripremljeni i da, kad se nešto dogodi, a dogodit će se, svi političari budu zgroženi, začuđeni i da svi kao mantru ne bi govorili iste riječi: "Mi hoćemo, mi moramo, mi ćemo..."

Današnja nesreća na cesti Omiš – Radmanove mlinice, kada je stijena pala na automobil čiji vozač samo pukom srećom nije pretrpio ozbiljnije ozljede, još jednom je otvorila temu o manjku timova Hitne pomoći koji bi tijekom godine, a pogotovo u turističkoj sezoni, trebali biti na raspolaganju domicilnom stanovništvu, kao i gostima.
Dakle, u Omišu postoji jedan zdrastveni Tim 1 (liječnik, medicinska sestra/tehničar i vozač) koji pokriva sve ovakve ili slične događaje. Taj tim trebao je odvesti vozača Audija na koji je pala stijena s obronaka kanjona Cetine u KBC Split na daljnju medicinsku obradu.
Da bi obavili svoj posao, što uključuje dolazak na mjesto događaja, pregled vozača i njegovo odvoženje u bolnicu te povratak u Omiš, toj ekipi Zavoda za hitnu medicinu Splitsko-dalmatinske županije trebalo je najmanje sat vremena, a u turističkoj sezoni trebalo bi im i znatno više, jer su gužve postale epske.
Za to vrijeme u Omišu i okolnim mjestima koja mu gravitiraju više se, u zdravstvenom smislu, ne smije nikome ništa dogoditi jer Hitna pomoć ne može doći po bilo kojega građanina budući da u Omišu ne postoji nijedan drugi tim. Najbliži se nalaze u Šestanovcu, udaljenom 28 kilometara, Makarskoj (36,5 kilometara) ili Splitu (25,6 kilometara).
Te udaljenosti u trenu postaju iznimno daleke u okolnostima kada netko primjerice dobije srčani udar, a nema mogućnosti da se preveze do splitske bolnice. U tom slučaju jedino može pozvati taksi ili sjesti u "Prometovu" autobus na liniji broj 60. No, u tom slučaju ne vjerujemo da bi osoba živa stigla do Splita.
Problem nedostatka timova Hitne pomoći bio bi vrlo lako rješiv kada bi postojalo malo više političke volje. Odnosno kada bi političari, koji, naravno, sve znaju najbolje, pa tako i koliko će hitnih timova biti na nekom području, donijeli odluku da Omišu treba i jedan Tim 2 (dva medicinska tehničara ili medicinska sestra i tehničar, od kojih bi jedan od njih bio i vozač) koji bi "uskakali" kad je Tim 1 zauzet.
Ovakva je situacija tijekom zime i u Trogiru, a ljeti je razlika u tome što Trogir ipak dobije jedan Tim 2 na Čiovu.
Turistička je sezona pred vratima i krajnje je vrijeme da se nešto učini u tom pogledu, a ne da dočekamo sezonu nepripremljeni i da, kad se nešto dogodi, a dogodit će se, svi političari budu zgroženi, začuđeni i da svi kao mantru ne bi govorili iste riječi: "Mi hoćemo, mi moramo, mi ćemo..."
