Zadarska nadbiskupija odustala je od Doma županije!
Nadbiskup Želimir Puljić u četvrtak je uputio pismo premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću u kojem mu zahvaljuje na ponuđenoj zgradi Doma županije za obeštećenje crkvene imovine oduzete za vrijeme komunističke Jugoslavije te naglašava da „unatoč Vašoj velikodušnoj ponudi nismo spremni prihvatiti Dom županije kao jednu od nekretnina za imovinu koju je Katolička crkvi nepravedno oduzeta za vrijeme komunizma”, javlja Zadarski.hr.
- Naše potrebe za smještajem arhivske građe i kaptolske knjižnice u Zadru postoje, ali ćemo ih morati rješavati na drugačiji način. Zahvaljujemo Vam na Vašoj dobroj volji koju ste ukazali prema našim potrebama, no naše potrebe ne smiju biti u suprotnosti s potrebama i interesima naroda kojemu služimo - napisao je nadbiskup Puljić.
Iako nadbiskup u pismu izrijekom ne navodi zašto je došlo do promjene stajališta Nadbiskupije, odnosno zašto su odlučili odustati od Doma županije, iz konteksta se može shvatiti da je tome najviše doprinijelo nezadovoljstvo zadarske javnosti s mogućnošću da Dom županije, koji nikad nije bio dio crkvene imovine, postane vlasništvo Zadarske nadbiskupije.
Nezadovoljstvo takvom trgovinom između Vlade RH i Zadarske nadbiskupije iskazuje se već mjesecima. Organiziran je i prosvjed ispred zgrade Doma županije, portal Zadarski.hr je pokrenuo posebnu rubriku #OSTAVITE NAM DOM, zadarski političari svih političkih opcija podržali su ideju da Dom županije ostane javna zgrada na korist građanima, a neke stranke, poput SDP-a, pokrenule su i peticiju među političarima koju su ovog tjedna proslijedile premijeru Plenkoviću.
Peticiju nisu potpisali jedino HDZ i njihovi koalicijski partneri, a ostat će zapamćeno da župan Božidar Longin, koji je s bivšim ministrom državne imovine Goranom Marićem dogovarao nekretnine za preseljenje županijskih službi, o odluci da Dom županije pripadne Katoličkoj crkvi, do danas nije rekao ni riječ.
Za to da Dom županije ostane dostupan građanima Zadra založile su se brojne osobe iz javnog života grada, sveučilišni profesori, intelektualci, stručnjaci, kulturni djelatnici, društveni aktivisti... svi su bili protiv da Dom županije nakon odlaska županijske administracije bude predan u vlasništvo Zadarske nadbiskupije.
Tako je, barem za sada, završio slučaj Doma županije. Kome će ga država na koncu prepustiti, vidjet ćemo, ali javno raspoloženje u Zadru je takvo da nitko ne pristaje na to da zgrada bude prodana već da ostane u javnom vlasništvu i javnoj upotrebi na korist svim građanima.

Zadarska nadbiskupija odustala je od Doma županije!
Nadbiskup Želimir Puljić u četvrtak je uputio pismo premijeru Andreju Plenkoviću u kojem mu zahvaljuje na ponuđenoj zgradi Doma županije za obeštećenje crkvene imovine oduzete za vrijeme komunističke Jugoslavije te naglašava da „unatoč Vašoj velikodušnoj ponudi nismo spremni prihvatiti Dom županije kao jednu od nekretnina za imovinu koju je Katolička crkvi nepravedno oduzeta za vrijeme komunizma”, javlja Zadarski.hr.
- Naše potrebe za smještajem arhivske građe i kaptolske knjižnice u Zadru postoje, ali ćemo ih morati rješavati na drugačiji način. Zahvaljujemo Vam na Vašoj dobroj volji koju ste ukazali prema našim potrebama, no naše potrebe ne smiju biti u suprotnosti s potrebama i interesima naroda kojemu služimo - napisao je nadbiskup Puljić.
Iako nadbiskup u pismu izrijekom ne navodi zašto je došlo do promjene stajališta Nadbiskupije, odnosno zašto su odlučili odustati od Doma županije, iz konteksta se može shvatiti da je tome najviše doprinijelo nezadovoljstvo zadarske javnosti s mogućnošću da Dom županije, koji nikad nije bio dio crkvene imovine, postane vlasništvo Zadarske nadbiskupije.
Nezadovoljstvo takvom trgovinom između Vlade RH i Zadarske nadbiskupije iskazuje se već mjesecima. Organiziran je i prosvjed ispred zgrade Doma županije, portal Zadarski.hr je pokrenuo posebnu rubriku #OSTAVITE NAM DOM, zadarski političari svih političkih opcija podržali su ideju da Dom županije ostane javna zgrada na korist građanima, a neke stranke, poput SDP-a, pokrenule su i peticiju među političarima koju su ovog tjedna proslijedile premijeru Plenkoviću.
Peticiju nisu potpisali jedino HDZ i njihovi koalicijski partneri, a ostat će zapamćeno da župan Božidar Longin, koji je s bivšim ministrom državne imovine Goranom Marićem dogovarao nekretnine za preseljenje županijskih službi, o odluci da Dom županije pripadne Katoličkoj crkvi, do danas nije rekao ni riječ.
Za to da Dom županije ostane dostupan građanima Zadra založile su se brojne osobe iz javnog života grada, sveučilišni profesori, intelektualci, stručnjaci, kulturni djelatnici, društveni aktivisti... svi su bili protiv da Dom županije nakon odlaska županijske administracije bude predan u vlasništvo Zadarske nadbiskupije.
Tako je, barem za sada, završio slučaj Doma županije. Kome će ga država na koncu prepustiti, vidjet ćemo, ali javno raspoloženje u Zadru je takvo da nitko ne pristaje na to da zgrada bude prodana već da ostane u javnom vlasništvu i javnoj upotrebi na korist svim građanima.
