Na tisuće napisanih tekstova tijekom više od dva desetljeća novinarskog i uredničkog rada, organiziranja raznih humanitarnih akcija, pomoć "malom" čovjeku, promocija Kaštela u brojnim segmentima života.

Sve to, među ostalim, bio je dovoljan razlog da kaštelanski vijećnici izglasaju prijedlog da se nedavno preminuloj novinarki Dijani Putnik, potshumno, 3. ožujka na svečanoj sjednici povodom Dana grada dodjeli nagrada Grada Kaštela za životno djelo.

Lokalni zastupnici podržali su prijedloge da se osobna nagrada Grada posmrtno dodijeli Draganu Božinu, dugogodišnjem članu Hrvatskog nogometnog kluba "Jadran" iz Sućurca i zaposleniku gradske uprave, a skupna nagrada udruzi Hvidra. Nagrade za izrazito humano djelo pripast će Jurici Lisici i Emilu Novaku, a posebno priznanje dobit će nogometni klub "Jadran", Sućuračka amaterska udruga "Putalj" i Hrvatsko glazbeno društvo "Zrinski" iz Donjih Kaštela.

S osam glasova "za", pet "protiv" i jednim suzdržanim odbijen je prijedlog da se vrhunskom glazbeniku, dugogodišnjem prvom klarinetistu Beogradske filharmonije i profesoru u glazbenim školama Anti Grginu dodjeli nagrada za životno djelo, a takva odluka pojašnjena je činjenicom da "predloženi kandidat nije ostavio toliko velik trag u javnom životu Kaštela".

Vijećnici su izglasali i prijedlog o visini nagrada za ovogodišnje laureate, a ona će iznositi nešto više od 1300 eura (10 tisuća kuna).

Tema projekta Aglomeracije u sklopu koje se gradi voda i kanalizacija u Kaštelima obilježila je aktualni sat na kojem su vijećnici postavljali pitanja o problematici asfaltiranja ulica po završenim radovima, sporosti pri priključivanju na završenu infrastrukturu.

Anto Komljen (HSP) obrušio se na tvrtku "Strabag", glavnog izvođača radova, prozivajući ih za nered koji vlada u Kaštelima, a koji su stvorile neasfaltirane ceste, iznimna sporost radova, ali i problematičnost njihova nadziranja, poručivši kako će uskoro organizirati put za odlazak u Zagreb gdje će se u Upravi te tvrtke razgovarati o brojnim problemima koje valja što prije otkloniti.

SDP-ov Mario Banovac upitao je ima li Grad registar socijalnih slučajeva kako bi se znalo kome od građana treba pomoć u bilo kojem pogledu na što mu je gradonačelnik Denis Ivanović (HDZ) odgovorio kako taj registar vjerojatno ima Centar za socijalnu skrb te kako Grad sa Centrom ima odličnu suradnju.

Marija Serajlića (Akcija mladih) zanimalo je kakav je status kaštelanskih kula Cambi i Nehaj koje čekaju obnovu, kao i izgrađenog hotela na mjestu kule Ćipiko u Novom, na što mu je poteštat Ivanović odgovorio kako je kula Cambi zajedno sa uljarom prijavljena na natječaj Ministarstva turizma te kako se očekuje ishod rezultata koji bi trebao biti završen za dvadesetak dana, nakon čega će na red doći i kula Nehaj.

- Kula Ćipiko je privatno vlasništvo i cijeli taj slučaj je predmet je dugogodišnjeg sudskog spora - kazao je gradonačelnik.

Gorana Samardžića s Nezavisne liste Josipa Berketa zanimalo je hoće li nedavno iseljeni učenici iz osnovne škole u Kaštel Starom koji su prešli u prostore gimnazije u Novi na jesen kad počne nova školska godina biti vraćeni u svoju osmoljetku, na što mu je gradonačelnik kazao kako vjeruje da će sanacija krovišta na toj školi do jeseni biti završena.

Bez posebne rasprave, jednoglasnom odlukom vijećnika Ivan Šuta imenovan je na treći uzastopni četverogodišnji mandat na čelu Muzeja grada.

Sve to, među ostalim, bio je dovoljan razlog da kaštelanski vijećnici izglasaju prijedlog da se nedavno preminuloj novinarki Dijani Putnik, potshumno, 3. ožujka na svečanoj sjednici povodom Dana grada dodjeli nagrada Grada Kaštela za životno djelo.

Lokalni zastupnici podržali su prijedloge da se osobna nagrada Grada posmrtno dodijeli Draganu Božinu, dugogodišnjem članu Hrvatskog nogometnog kluba "Jadran" iz Sućurca i zaposleniku gradske uprave, a skupna nagrada udruzi Hvidra. Nagrade za izrazito humano djelo pripast će Jurici Lisici i Emilu Novaku, a posebno priznanje dobit će nogometni klub "Jadran", Sućuračka amaterska udruga "Putalj" i Hrvatsko glazbeno društvo "Zrinski" iz Donjih Kaštela.

S osam glasova "za", pet "protiv" i jednim suzdržanim odbijen je prijedlog da se vrhunskom glazbeniku, dugogodišnjem prvom klarinetistu Beogradske filharmonije i profesoru u glazbenim školama Anti Grginu dodjeli nagrada za životno djelo, a takva odluka pojašnjena je činjenicom da "predloženi kandidat nije ostavio toliko velik trag u javnom životu Kaštela".

Vijećnici su izglasali i prijedlog o visini nagrada za ovogodišnje laureate, a ona će iznositi nešto više od 1300 eura (10 tisuća kuna).

Tema projekta Aglomeracije u sklopu koje se gradi voda i kanalizacija u Kaštelima obilježila je aktualni sat na kojem su vijećnici postavljali pitanja o problematici asfaltiranja ulica po završenim radovima, sporosti pri priključivanju na završenu infrastrukturu.

Anto Komljen (HSP) obrušio se na tvrtku "Strabag", glavnog izvođača radova, prozivajući ih za nered koji vlada u Kaštelima, a koji su stvorile neasfaltirane ceste, iznimna sporost radova, ali i problematičnost njihova nadziranja, poručivši kako će uskoro organizirati put za odlazak u Zagreb gdje će se u Upravi te tvrtke razgovarati o brojnim problemima koje valja što prije otkloniti.

SDP-ov Mario Banovac upitao je ima li Grad registar socijalnih slučajeva kako bi se znalo kome od građana treba pomoć u bilo kojem pogledu na što mu je gradonačelnik Denis Ivanović (HDZ) odgovorio kako taj registar vjerojatno ima Centar za socijalnu skrb te kako Grad sa Centrom ima odličnu suradnju.

Marija Serajlića (Akcija mladih) zanimalo je kakav je status kaštelanskih kula Cambi i Nehaj koje čekaju obnovu, kao i izgrađenog hotela na mjestu kule Ćipiko u Novom, na što mu je poteštat Ivanović odgovorio kako je kula Cambi zajedno sa uljarom prijavljena na natječaj Ministarstva turizma te kako se očekuje ishod rezultata koji bi trebao biti završen za dvadesetak dana, nakon čega će na red doći i kula Nehaj.

- Kula Ćipiko je privatno vlasništvo i cijeli taj slučaj je predmet je dugogodišnjeg sudskog spora - kazao je gradonačelnik.

Gorana Samardžića s Nezavisne liste Josipa Berketa zanimalo je hoće li nedavno iseljeni učenici iz osnovne škole u Kaštel Starom koji su prešli u prostore gimnazije u Novi na jesen kad počne nova školska godina biti vraćeni u svoju osmoljetku, na što mu je gradonačelnik kazao kako vjeruje da će sanacija krovišta na toj školi do jeseni biti završena.

Bez posebne rasprave, jednoglasnom odlukom vijećnika Ivan Šuta imenovan je na treći uzastopni četverogodišnji mandat na čelu Muzeja grada.
