Gotovo nevjerojatne vijesti stižu iz SAD-a gdje je mala studija pacijentima koji boluju od raka rektuma dala novu nadu, javlja NY Times. 

Kod svih 18 pacijenata koji su sudjelovali u ispitivanju rak je potpuno nestao i nije ga se moglo pronaći pregledom niti snimkama poput MR-a, prenosi danas Novi list.

Iako se radi o malom broju sudionika, Luis A. Diaz, autor studije objavljene u New England Journal of Medicine, kaže da mu nije poznato niti jednu istraživanje u kojem je rak potpuno nestao kod doslovno svakog pacijenta koji je uzeo lijek koji se ispituje.

“Vjerujem da je ovo prvi put u povijesti da se ovo dogodilo”, rekao je Diaz.

Drugi liječnik, Alan P. Venook, koji nije bio uključen u ovo istraživanje, također kaže da nikada nije čuo za takav slučaj.

“Potpuna remisija kod baš svakog pacijenta je nešto nečuveno”, rekao je Venook.

Pacijenti su se spremali za kemoterapiju, zračenje i operacije koji bi vjerojatno rezultirale trajnim crijevnim, urinarnim i seksualnim disfunkcijama, ali nakon sudjelovanja u ovom istraživanju dočekali ih je iznenađenje – nikakvo daljnje liječenje nije potrebno.

Da stvar bude bolje, pacijenti nisu imali negativnih reakcija na lijek.

U prosjeku 1 od 5 pacijenata ima negativne reakcije na lijekove poput onih koji su korišteni u istraživanju, a koji rade na način da “otkriju” stanice raka što omogućava imunološkom sustavu da ih otkrije i uništi.

Iako su rezultati istraživanja jako optimistični, stručnjaci upozoravaju da je prerano za donositi definitivne zaključke.

Kimmie Ng sa Sveučilišta Harvard kaže da su rezulati sjajni i bez presedana, ali da će ih trebati ponoviti.

U samom istraživanju korišteni su “inhibitori kontrolnih točaka”, vrsta lijekova koji nisu novi i koji se i inače koriste u liječenju malignih bolesti.

Razlika je što su u ovom istraživanju ti lijekovi pacijentima dani puno ranije, prije nego što su stanice raka dobile priliku da se prošire po cijelom tijelu. U konačnici, pacijentima koji su sudjelovali u istraživanju ne samo da nije bilo potrebna daljnja obrada poput zračenja, koje kod ovakvih karcinoma zna i pogoršati stvari, kemoterapije i operacije, nego je rak u potpunosti nestao, barem prema trenutnim pokazateljima.

Jedna od pacijentica u istraživanju, koja je oboljela 2019. u 38. godini, već je bila spremna za operaciju i zračenje kada je saznala za studiju. Nakon provedene terapije liječnici su joj rekli da više nema rak što je njoj bilo gotovo nemoguće za povjerovati. Međutim, dvije godine nakon terapije njeni su nalazi i dalje “čisti”, odnosno pokazuju kako raka – nema.

Gotovo nevjerojatne vijesti stižu iz SAD-a gdje je mala studija pacijentima koji boluju od raka rektuma dala novu nadu, javlja NY Times. 

Kod svih 18 pacijenata koji su sudjelovali u ispitivanju rak je potpuno nestao i nije ga se moglo pronaći pregledom niti snimkama poput MR-a, prenosi danas Novi list.

Iako se radi o malom broju sudionika, Luis A. Diaz, autor studije objavljene u New England Journal of Medicine, kaže da mu nije poznato niti jednu istraživanje u kojem je rak potpuno nestao kod doslovno svakog pacijenta koji je uzeo lijek koji se ispituje.

“Vjerujem da je ovo prvi put u povijesti da se ovo dogodilo”, rekao je Diaz.

Drugi liječnik, Alan P. Venook, koji nije bio uključen u ovo istraživanje, također kaže da nikada nije čuo za takav slučaj.

“Potpuna remisija kod baš svakog pacijenta je nešto nečuveno”, rekao je Venook.

Pacijenti su se spremali za kemoterapiju, zračenje i operacije koji bi vjerojatno rezultirale trajnim crijevnim, urinarnim i seksualnim disfunkcijama, ali nakon sudjelovanja u ovom istraživanju dočekali ih je iznenađenje – nikakvo daljnje liječenje nije potrebno.

Da stvar bude bolje, pacijenti nisu imali negativnih reakcija na lijek.

U prosjeku 1 od 5 pacijenata ima negativne reakcije na lijekove poput onih koji su korišteni u istraživanju, a koji rade na način da “otkriju” stanice raka što omogućava imunološkom sustavu da ih otkrije i uništi.

Iako su rezultati istraživanja jako optimistični, stručnjaci upozoravaju da je prerano za donositi definitivne zaključke.

Kimmie Ng sa Sveučilišta Harvard kaže da su rezulati sjajni i bez presedana, ali da će ih trebati ponoviti.

U samom istraživanju korišteni su “inhibitori kontrolnih točaka”, vrsta lijekova koji nisu novi i koji se i inače koriste u liječenju malignih bolesti.

Razlika je što su u ovom istraživanju ti lijekovi pacijentima dani puno ranije, prije nego što su stanice raka dobile priliku da se prošire po cijelom tijelu. U konačnici, pacijentima koji su sudjelovali u istraživanju ne samo da nije bilo potrebna daljnja obrada poput zračenja, koje kod ovakvih karcinoma zna i pogoršati stvari, kemoterapije i operacije, nego je rak u potpunosti nestao, barem prema trenutnim pokazateljima.

Jedna od pacijentica u istraživanju, koja je oboljela 2019. u 38. godini, već je bila spremna za operaciju i zračenje kada je saznala za studiju. Nakon provedene terapije liječnici su joj rekli da više nema rak što je njoj bilo gotovo nemoguće za povjerovati. Međutim, dvije godine nakon terapije njeni su nalazi i dalje “čisti”, odnosno pokazuju kako raka – nema.

Nevjerojatne vijesti: svi pacijenti u istraživanju izliječeni su od raka! Liječnici: ‘Ovo je prvi put u povijesti da se dogodilo...‘

Gotovo nevjerojatne vijesti stižu iz SAD-a gdje je mala studija pacijentima koji boluju od raka rektuma dala novu nadu, javlja NY Times. 

Kod svih 18 pacijenata koji su sudjelovali u ispitivanju rak je potpuno nestao i nije ga se moglo pronaći pregledom niti snimkama poput MR-a, prenosi danas Novi list.

Iako se radi o malom broju sudionika, Luis A. Diaz, autor studije objavljene u New England Journal of Medicine, kaže da mu nije poznato niti jednu istraživanje u kojem je rak potpuno nestao kod doslovno svakog pacijenta koji je uzeo lijek koji se ispituje.

“Vjerujem da je ovo prvi put u povijesti da se ovo dogodilo”, rekao je Diaz.

Drugi liječnik, Alan P. Venook, koji nije bio uključen u ovo istraživanje, također kaže da nikada nije čuo za takav slučaj.

“Potpuna remisija kod baš svakog pacijenta je nešto nečuveno”, rekao je Venook.

Pacijenti su se spremali za kemoterapiju, zračenje i operacije koji bi vjerojatno rezultirale trajnim crijevnim, urinarnim i seksualnim disfunkcijama, ali nakon sudjelovanja u ovom istraživanju dočekali ih je iznenađenje – nikakvo daljnje liječenje nije potrebno.

Da stvar bude bolje, pacijenti nisu imali negativnih reakcija na lijek.

U prosjeku 1 od 5 pacijenata ima negativne reakcije na lijekove poput onih koji su korišteni u istraživanju, a koji rade na način da “otkriju” stanice raka što omogućava imunološkom sustavu da ih otkrije i uništi.

Iako su rezultati istraživanja jako optimistični, stručnjaci upozoravaju da je prerano za donositi definitivne zaključke.

Kimmie Ng sa Sveučilišta Harvard kaže da su rezulati sjajni i bez presedana, ali da će ih trebati ponoviti.

U samom istraživanju korišteni su “inhibitori kontrolnih točaka”, vrsta lijekova koji nisu novi i koji se i inače koriste u liječenju malignih bolesti.

Razlika je što su u ovom istraživanju ti lijekovi pacijentima dani puno ranije, prije nego što su stanice raka dobile priliku da se prošire po cijelom tijelu. U konačnici, pacijentima koji su sudjelovali u istraživanju ne samo da nije bilo potrebna daljnja obrada poput zračenja, koje kod ovakvih karcinoma zna i pogoršati stvari, kemoterapije i operacije, nego je rak u potpunosti nestao, barem prema trenutnim pokazateljima.

Jedna od pacijentica u istraživanju, koja je oboljela 2019. u 38. godini, već je bila spremna za operaciju i zračenje kada je saznala za studiju. Nakon provedene terapije liječnici su joj rekli da više nema rak što je njoj bilo gotovo nemoguće za povjerovati. Međutim, dvije godine nakon terapije njeni su nalazi i dalje “čisti”, odnosno pokazuju kako raka – nema.
