Najvažnija vijest vrućega ljeta 2023. godine... Ma što ljeta 2023., nego posljednjih godina kad je riječ o našim bijelim brodovima, objavljena je 12. rujna u Elektroničkom oglasniku javne nabave Republike Hrvatske: Jadrolinija je odabrala feribot (službeno zvani zatvoreni RO-PAX brod) za državnu liniju 604 Lastovo/Ubli – Vela Luka – Hvar – Split!

Premda je sadržaj Odluke o odabiru dostupan samo korisnicima EOJN-a, svi su na Jadranu uvjereni da je to grčki feribot Hermes i da ga svakako možemo očekivati do Božića. Manje je znana fascinantna činjenica da je on potomak slavnoga Japanca Ishizuchija iz Imabarija, koji je pod imenom Lastovo na Jadranu ušao u legendu. Brod koji plovi kad nitko drugi ne može, koji otočane nikad nije iznevjerio i za kojeg svi žele da nikad ne prestane broditi.

I sad će njegov nasljednik Ferry Tsurugi, doduše zaogrnut grčkom zastavom i imenom Hermes, zaploviti za Vela Luku i Lastovo! Spoznaja da postoji novo Lastovo, a onda i mogućnost da ono još ove godine zaplovi Jadranom, nadilazi očekivanja mnogobrojnih zaljubljenika u legendarni feribot iz 1969. godine. Nabavka broda za Lastovo dio je ambicioznoga Jadrolinijinoga plana obnove flote, o kojemu smo iscrpno pisali u Otvorenom moru.

U Elektroničkom oglasniku javne nabave ona je i oglašena početkom srpnja 2023. Tražio se brod starosti do 30 godina, duljine od 100 do 110 metara, širine 17 do 19 metara, najmanje brzine 16.5 čvorova, kapaciteta 400 putnika i 90 putnika. Po isteku roka od mjesec dana, procurila je vijest da je stigla samo jedna ponuda. Grčka tvrtka Horizon Shipping Co. iz Preveze, ponudila je feribot koji u svakome detalju odgovara zahtjevima Jadrolinije. Kad su fotografije Hermesa zaplovile društvenim mrežama proširio se glas: Evo novoga Lastova!

Fotografije pristigle iz Japana na kojima je Ferry Tsurugi samo su osnažile dojam da je to istinski nasljednik broda Ishizuchi, koji je još 1978. godine preplovio sedam mora da bi došao do Jadrana i dobio boje Jadrolinije. Vrlo kratko zvao se Partizanka, a već je 45 godina Lastovo. No, nisu ti brodovi građeni ni u istome brodogradilištu ni za istoga brodara. Prvi je zaplovio 1969. u Imabariju, drugi 1997. u Usukiju. Ali tih 28 godina razlike na njima gotovo se i ne vidi.

Sjajna brzina

Nikakvo čudo, Japanci su i racionalisti i tradicionalisti. Kad osmisle nešto dobro neće to lako mijenjati, a feriboti su im najbolji dokaz. I danas se grade po istoj špranci kao prije 60 godina! U odnosu na Lastovo grčki je Hermes mnogo veći. Dug je 108 i širok 17.5 metara, nosivosti 1300 tona, a može ukrcati 470 putnika i 78 vozila. Pokreću ga dva dizelska stroja Niigata od 7944 kilovata sjajnom brzinom od 19 čvorova.

Kao Ferry Tsurugi porinut je 1. studenoga 1996. godine u brodogradilištu Usuki Zosensho K.K., a u srpnju 1997. predan je tvrtki Nankai Ferry K.K. iz grada Minato. Od tada do 2019. plovio je u Japanskom unutarnjem moru na istoj pruzi Wakayama – Komatsushima, povezujući Honshu i Shikoku. Ipak, brod vrhunskih maritimnih kvaliteta i japanski održavan, poslan je u mirovinu sa samo 22 ljeta.

Grcima, između čijih je otoka plovilo i još plovi mnoštvo nekadašnjih japanskih feribota, to nije moglo promaknuti. Tvrtka Soulitis & Lainas iz Preveze, vlasnik kompanije Kerkyra Seaways, odmah ga kupuje i u proljeće 2020. Ferry Tsurugi stiže u Grčku. No, proći će i godinu dana dok pod novim imenom Hermes, u novome sjaju, ne preuzme prugu Krf-Igoumenitsa na kojoj je i sada.

Za priču o Lastovu i njegovim nasljednicima nadasve je zanimljiv njezin japanski nastavak. Kad je Ferry Tsurugi umirovljen, njegovu prugu preuzima posve novi brod Ferry I. Izgrađen 22 godine kasnije u brodogradilištu u Mizushimi taj je feribot posve istih dimenzija, jednake opreme, a izmjene nadgrađa uistinu su samo kozmetičke.

Najvažnija vijest vrućega ljeta 2023. godine... Ma što ljeta 2023., nego posljednjih godina kad je riječ o našim bijelim brodovima, objavljena je 12. rujna u Elektroničkom oglasniku javne nabave Republike Hrvatske: Jadrolinija je odabrala feribot (službeno zvani zatvoreni RO-PAX brod) za državnu liniju 604 Lastovo/Ubli – Vela Luka – Hvar – Split!

Premda je sadržaj Odluke o odabiru dostupan samo korisnicima EOJN-a, svi su na Jadranu uvjereni da je to grčki feribot Hermes i da ga svakako možemo očekivati do Božića. Manje je znana fascinantna činjenica da je on potomak slavnoga Japanca Ishizuchija iz Imabarija, koji je pod imenom Lastovo na Jadranu ušao u legendu. Brod koji plovi kad nitko drugi ne može, koji otočane nikad nije iznevjerio i za kojeg svi žele da nikad ne prestane broditi.

I sad će njegov nasljednik Ferry Tsurugi, doduše zaogrnut grčkom zastavom i imenom Hermes, zaploviti za Vela Luku i Lastovo! Spoznaja da postoji novo Lastovo, a onda i mogućnost da ono još ove godine zaplovi Jadranom, nadilazi očekivanja mnogobrojnih zaljubljenika u legendarni feribot iz 1969. godine. Nabavka broda za Lastovo dio je ambicioznoga Jadrolinijinoga plana obnove flote, o kojemu smo iscrpno pisali u Otvorenom moru.

U Elektroničkom oglasniku javne nabave ona je i oglašena početkom srpnja 2023. Tražio se brod starosti do 30 godina, duljine od 100 do 110 metara, širine 17 do 19 metara, najmanje brzine 16.5 čvorova, kapaciteta 400 putnika i 90 putnika. Po isteku roka od mjesec dana, procurila je vijest da je stigla samo jedna ponuda. Grčka tvrtka Horizon Shipping Co. iz Preveze, ponudila je feribot koji u svakome detalju odgovara zahtjevima Jadrolinije. Kad su fotografije Hermesa zaplovile društvenim mrežama proširio se glas: Evo novoga Lastova!

Fotografije pristigle iz Japana na kojima je Ferry Tsurugi samo su osnažile dojam da je to istinski nasljednik broda Ishizuchi, koji je još 1978. godine preplovio sedam mora da bi došao do Jadrana i dobio boje Jadrolinije. Vrlo kratko zvao se Partizanka, a već je 45 godina Lastovo. No, nisu ti brodovi građeni ni u istome brodogradilištu ni za istoga brodara. Prvi je zaplovio 1969. u Imabariju, drugi 1997. u Usukiju. Ali tih 28 godina razlike na njima gotovo se i ne vidi.

Sjajna brzina

Nikakvo čudo, Japanci su i racionalisti i tradicionalisti. Kad osmisle nešto dobro neće to lako mijenjati, a feriboti su im najbolji dokaz. I danas se grade po istoj špranci kao prije 60 godina! U odnosu na Lastovo grčki je Hermes mnogo veći. Dug je 108 i širok 17.5 metara, nosivosti 1300 tona, a može ukrcati 470 putnika i 78 vozila. Pokreću ga dva dizelska stroja Niigata od 7944 kilovata sjajnom brzinom od 19 čvorova.

Kao Ferry Tsurugi porinut je 1. studenoga 1996. godine u brodogradilištu Usuki Zosensho K.K., a u srpnju 1997. predan je tvrtki Nankai Ferry K.K. iz grada Minato. Od tada do 2019. plovio je u Japanskom unutarnjem moru na istoj pruzi Wakayama – Komatsushima, povezujući Honshu i Shikoku. Ipak, brod vrhunskih maritimnih kvaliteta i japanski održavan, poslan je u mirovinu sa samo 22 ljeta.

Grcima, između čijih je otoka plovilo i još plovi mnoštvo nekadašnjih japanskih feribota, to nije moglo promaknuti. Tvrtka Soulitis & Lainas iz Preveze, vlasnik kompanije Kerkyra Seaways, odmah ga kupuje i u proljeće 2020. Ferry Tsurugi stiže u Grčku. No, proći će i godinu dana dok pod novim imenom Hermes, u novome sjaju, ne preuzme prugu Krf-Igoumenitsa na kojoj je i sada.

Za priču o Lastovu i njegovim nasljednicima nadasve je zanimljiv njezin japanski nastavak. Kad je Ferry Tsurugi umirovljen, njegovu prugu preuzima posve novi brod Ferry I. Izgrađen 22 godine kasnije u brodogradilištu u Mizushimi taj je feribot posve istih dimenzija, jednake opreme, a izmjene nadgrađa uistinu su samo kozmetičke.
