Veterinari ipak nisu uspjeli spasiti morsku kornjaču. Velika glavata želva koja je jučer poslijepodne pronađena na ulazu u zadarsku gradsku luku uginula je.

- Nažalost, uginula je dok smo je prebacivali do veterinarske ambulante. Bila je teško ozlijeđena, najvjerojatnije od propelera brodskog motora - kazao je Zadarski.hr Marin Mirčeta, poznati zadarski veterinar.

Okolnosti stradavanja kornjače, inače strogo zaštićene vrste, nisu mu poznate, ali po vrsti ozljeda gotovo je siguran da je nesretnu životinju ozlijedio propeler.

- Izgledalo je kao scena iz ratne kirurgije. Oklop želve je bio rasječen na nekoliko mjesta, zadobila je višestruke ozljede po tijelu - kaže Mirčeta koji se na intervenciju odmah odazvao, čim je dobio poziv iz službe 112.

- Ljudi koji su je pronašli postupili su u skladu sa svim protokolima o zaštićenim vrstama. Kad su vidjeli kornjaču u moru kako pluta uzeli su je na brod i pozvali službu 112, a oni nadležne službe za zaštitu životinja. Ja sam u tom trenutku bio 50 kilometara od Zadra, ali za ovakve stvari nikad mi nije teško reagirati. Ovaj put nismo mogli pomoći, ozljede su stvarno bile preteške - govori veterinar.

Uginula životinja je imala oklop dugačak 75 i širok 60 centimetara po čemu se može zaključiti da je bila starija od 50 godina.

- Nisam biolog, ali iz iskustva znam da takve dimenzije oklopa imaju životinje starije od 50 godina. Teško mi je reći koliko je točno bila stara, ali da joj se nije ovo dogodilo, sigurno je mogla još dosta živjeti - pretpostavlja Mirčeta.

Veterinari ipak nisu uspjeli spasiti morsku kornjaču. Velika glavata želva koja je jučer poslijepodne pronađena na ulazu u zadarsku gradsku luku uginula je.

- Nažalost, uginula je dok smo je prebacivali do veterinarske ambulante. Bila je teško ozlijeđena, najvjerojatnije od propelera brodskog motora - kazao je Zadarski.hr Marin Mirčeta, poznati zadarski veterinar.

Okolnosti stradavanja kornjače, inače strogo zaštićene vrste, nisu mu poznate, ali po vrsti ozljeda gotovo je siguran da je nesretnu životinju ozlijedio propeler.

- Izgledalo je kao scena iz ratne kirurgije. Oklop želve je bio rasječen na nekoliko mjesta, zadobila je višestruke ozljede po tijelu - kaže Mirčeta koji se na intervenciju odmah odazvao, čim je dobio poziv iz službe 112.

- Ljudi koji su je pronašli postupili su u skladu sa svim protokolima o zaštićenim vrstama. Kad su vidjeli kornjaču u moru kako pluta uzeli su je na brod i pozvali službu 112, a oni nadležne službe za zaštitu životinja. Ja sam u tom trenutku bio 50 kilometara od Zadra, ali za ovakve stvari nikad mi nije teško reagirati. Ovaj put nismo mogli pomoći, ozljede su stvarno bile preteške - govori veterinar.

Uginula životinja je imala oklop dugačak 75 i širok 60 centimetara po čemu se može zaključiti da je bila starija od 50 godina.

- Nisam biolog, ali iz iskustva znam da takve dimenzije oklopa imaju životinje starije od 50 godina. Teško mi je reći koliko je točno bila stara, ali da joj se nije ovo dogodilo, sigurno je mogla još dosta živjeti - pretpostavlja Mirčeta.

Veterinari ipak nisu uspjeli spasiti morsku kornjaču. Velika glavata želva koja je jučer poslijepodne pronađena na ulazu u zadarsku gradsku luku uginula je.

- Nažalost, uginula je dok smo je prebacivali do veterinarske ambulante. Bila je teško ozlijeđena, najvjerojatnije od propelera brodskog motora - kazao je Zadarski.hr Marin Mirčeta, poznati zadarski veterinar.

Okolnosti stradavanja kornjače, inače strogo zaštićene vrste, nisu mu poznate, ali po vrsti ozljeda gotovo je siguran da je nesretnu životinju ozlijedio propeler.

- Izgledalo je kao scena iz ratne kirurgije. Oklop želve je bio rasječen na nekoliko mjesta, zadobila je višestruke ozljede po tijelu - kaže Mirčeta koji se na intervenciju odmah odazvao, čim je dobio poziv iz službe 112.

- Ljudi koji su je pronašli postupili su u skladu sa svim protokolima o zaštićenim vrstama. Kad su vidjeli kornjaču u moru kako pluta uzeli su je na brod i pozvali službu 112, a oni nadležne službe za zaštitu životinja. Ja sam u tom trenutku bio 50 kilometara od Zadra, ali za ovakve stvari nikad mi nije teško reagirati. Ovaj put nismo mogli pomoći, ozljede su stvarno bile preteške - govori veterinar.

Uginula životinja je imala oklop dugačak 75 i širok 60 centimetara po čemu se može zaključiti da je bila starija od 50 godina.
