Kapetan duge plovidbe Nikola Cojić iz Kotora zajedno sa svojom posadom, čiji su članovi većinom državljani Hrvatske, Crne Gore i Srbije, 5. kolovoza na Pacifiku spasili su američkog državljanina s onesposobljene 10 metarske jedrilice koja je počela propuštati vodu, piše Boka News.

Kontejneraš MSC KALINA, kojim kapetan Cojić zapovijeda, nalazio se na Pacifiku oko 850 milja zapadno od obale američke savezne države Oregon, ploveći na redovnoj liniji iz Los Angelesa prema kineskoj luci Ningbo. Oko 9:30 sati američka Obalna straža uputila je poziv putem satelitskog telefona i obavijestila o pozivu u pomoć s jedrilice koja se u tom trenutku nalazila oko 40 milja po krmi kontejneraša.

”Odmah smo se okrenuli i punom brzinom uputili prema danoj lokaciji. Za otprilike sat i pol vremena na radaru smo ugledali jedrilicu, a ubrzo nakon toga nam je došla i u vidno polje. Na 10 metarskoj jedrilici nalazila se jedna osoba – Amerikanac star 72 godine. Jedriličaru se slomilo glavno jedro, a u rezervoaru je bilo samo 10 litara goriva. Kako je jedrilica počela propuštati vodu, evakuirali smo ga i ukrcali na naš brod”, rekao je kapetan Cojić, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Zajedno sa svojom posadom, kapetan Cojić izveo je vrlo zahtjevan manevar kako bi se ogromni kontejneraš dužine 366 metara i širine preko 51 metar sigurno približio jedrilici, a da je pritom ne udari.

Kontejneraš je svojim trupom napravio ”zavjetrinu”. S boka je spuštena pilotska skala kako bi posada, usprkos valovima, uspjela dohvatiti ugroženog Amerikanca i ukrcati ga na brod. Posada kapetana Cojića uspjela je s tonuće jedrilice spasiti i dio osobnih stvari unesrećenog Amerikanca.

Kapetan Cojić pohvalio je svoju posadu, istaknuvši kako su svi u ovoj akciji spašavanja pokazali iznimne vještine, hrabrost i odlučnost da ispune svetu obavezu svih pomoraca –  a to je da pomognu drugom čovjeku kojem prijeti opasnost na moru.

Kapetan duge plovidbe Nikola Cojić iz Kotora zajedno sa svojom posadom, čiji su članovi većinom državljani Hrvatske, Crne Gore i Srbije, 5. kolovoza na Pacifiku spasili su američkog državljanina s onesposobljene 10 metarske jedrilice koja je počela propuštati vodu, piše Boka News.

Kontejneraš MSC KALINA, kojim kapetan Cojić zapovijeda, nalazio se na Pacifiku oko 850 milja zapadno od obale američke savezne države Oregon, ploveći na redovnoj liniji iz Los Angelesa prema kineskoj luci Ningbo. Oko 9:30 sati američka Obalna straža uputila je poziv putem satelitskog telefona i obavijestila o pozivu u pomoć s jedrilice koja se u tom trenutku nalazila oko 40 milja po krmi kontejneraša.

”Odmah smo se okrenuli i punom brzinom uputili prema danoj lokaciji. Za otprilike sat i pol vremena na radaru smo ugledali jedrilicu, a ubrzo nakon toga nam je došla i u vidno polje. Na 10 metarskoj jedrilici nalazila se jedna osoba – Amerikanac star 72 godine. Jedriličaru se slomilo glavno jedro, a u rezervoaru je bilo samo 10 litara goriva. Kako je jedrilica počela propuštati vodu, evakuirali smo ga i ukrcali na naš brod”, rekao je kapetan Cojić, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Zajedno sa svojom posadom, kapetan Cojić izveo je vrlo zahtjevan manevar kako bi se ogromni kontejneraš dužine 366 metara i širine preko 51 metar sigurno približio jedrilici, a da je pritom ne udari.

Kontejneraš je svojim trupom napravio ”zavjetrinu”. S boka je spuštena pilotska skala kako bi posada, usprkos valovima, uspjela dohvatiti ugroženog Amerikanca i ukrcati ga na brod. Posada kapetana Cojića uspjela je s tonuće jedrilice spasiti i dio osobnih stvari unesrećenog Amerikanca.

Kapetan Cojić pohvalio je svoju posadu, istaknuvši kako su svi u ovoj akciji spašavanja pokazali iznimne vještine, hrabrost i odlučnost da ispune svetu obavezu svih pomoraca –  a to je da pomognu drugom čovjeku kojem prijeti opasnost na moru.

Kapetan duge plovidbe Nikola Cojić iz Kotora zajedno sa svojom posadom, čiji su članovi većinom državljani Hrvatske, Crne Gore i Srbije, 5. kolovoza na Pacifiku spasili su američkog državljanina s onesposobljene 10 metarske jedrilice koja je počela propuštati vodu, piše Boka News.

Kontejneraš MSC KALINA, kojim kapetan Cojić zapovijeda, nalazio se na Pacifiku oko 850 milja zapadno od obale američke savezne države Oregon, ploveći na redovnoj liniji iz Los Angelesa prema kineskoj luci Ningbo. Oko 9:30 sati američka Obalna straža uputila je poziv putem satelitskog telefona i obavijestila o pozivu u pomoć s jedrilice koja se u tom trenutku nalazila oko 40 milja po krmi kontejneraša.

”Odmah smo se okrenuli i punom brzinom uputili prema danoj lokaciji. Za otprilike sat i pol vremena na radaru smo ugledali jedrilicu, a ubrzo nakon toga nam je došla i u vidno polje. Na 10 metarskoj jedrilici nalazila se jedna osoba – Amerikanac star 72 godine. Jedriličaru se slomilo glavno jedro, a u rezervoaru je bilo samo 10 litara goriva. Kako je jedrilica počela propuštati vodu, evakuirali smo ga i ukrcali na naš brod”, rekao je kapetan Cojić, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Zajedno sa svojom posadom, kapetan Cojić izveo je vrlo zahtjevan manevar kako bi se ogromni kontejneraš dužine 366 metara i širine preko 51 metar sigurno približio jedrilici, a da je pritom ne udari.

Kontejneraš je svojim trupom napravio ”zavjetrinu”. S boka je spuštena pilotska skala kako bi posada, usprkos valovima, uspjela dohvatiti ugroženog Amerikanca i ukrcati ga na brod. Posada kapetana Cojića uspjela je s tonuće jedrilice spasiti i dio osobnih stvari unesrećenog Amerikanca.

Kapetan Cojić pohvalio je svoju posadu, istaknuvši kako su svi u ovoj akciji spašavanja pokazali iznimne vještine, hrabrost i odlučnost da ispune svetu obavezu svih pomoraca –  a to je da pomognu drugom čovjeku kojem prijeti opasnost na moru.
