Reagirajući na dramatičan porast gubitka kontejnera na moru u protekloj godini, Odbor za pomorsku sigurnost Međunarodne pomorske organizacije raspravljao je o tom pitanju na svom nedavnom sastanku, javlja Pomorac.hr.
Složivši se da gubitak kontejnera na moru predstavlja potencijalnu opasnost za pomorsku sigurnost i prijetnju okolišu, MSC IMO-a poduzeo je početne akcije usredotočujući se na otkrivanje i prijavljivanje izgubljenih kontejnera. IMO je rekao da će također raditi na pronalasku rješenja kako bi se spriječio gubitak kontejnera.
Odbor je tijekom rasprave pokrenuo niz zabrinutosti koja se usredotočila na gubitak preko 3500 kontejnera tijekom posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci u Tihom oceanu.
Rezimirajući raspravu odbora IMO-a, industrijsko trgovinsko udruženje BIMCO izvijestilo je da se IMO složio da se uzroci koji mogu dovesti do gubitka kontejnera na moru razlikuju.
To mogu biti loši vremenski uvjeti ili visoki valovi koji stvaraju nestabilnost na brodu. Inspektori klasnog društva, osiguravatelji i predstavnici potraživanja tereta također će razmotriti prakse utovara i opremu te dizajn plovila. Teretne udruge također navode opasnosti od neprijavljenih i kontejnera s prekomjernom težinom.
Stoga se MSC IMO-a dogovorio s BIMCO-om da će pokrenuti nove mjere za otkrivanje i prijavljivanje kontejnera izgubljenih u moru, što može poboljšati njihovo pozicioniranje, praćenje i saniranje štete.
Također, IMO će uspostaviti obvezni sustav za prijavljivanje gubitka kontejnera i postavljanje novog rješenja na brodu za lako prepoznavanje točnog broja gubitaka.
Brodovi su dužni prijaviti gubitak kontejnera kroz standardizirani postupak. Važno je prijaviti što više detalja: identifikacija, teret koji se prevozi (posebno opasna roba ili štetne tvari), mogu li spremnici plutati i predstavljaju li opasnost od sudara s drugim plovilima, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Reagirajući na dramatičan porast gubitka kontejnera na moru u protekloj godini, Odbor za pomorsku sigurnost Međunarodne pomorske organizacije raspravljao je o tom pitanju na svom nedavnom sastanku, javlja Pomorac.hr.
Složivši se da gubitak kontejnera na moru predstavlja potencijalnu opasnost za pomorsku sigurnost i prijetnju okolišu, MSC IMO-a poduzeo je početne akcije usredotočujući se na otkrivanje i prijavljivanje izgubljenih kontejnera. IMO je rekao da će također raditi na pronalasku rješenja kako bi se spriječio gubitak kontejnera.
Odbor je tijekom rasprave pokrenuo niz zabrinutosti koja se usredotočila na gubitak preko 3500 kontejnera tijekom posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci u Tihom oceanu.
Rezimirajući raspravu odbora IMO-a, industrijsko trgovinsko udruženje BIMCO izvijestilo je da se IMO složio da se uzroci koji mogu dovesti do gubitka kontejnera na moru razlikuju.
To mogu biti loši vremenski uvjeti ili visoki valovi koji stvaraju nestabilnost na brodu. Inspektori klasnog društva, osiguravatelji i predstavnici potraživanja tereta također će razmotriti prakse utovara i opremu te dizajn plovila. Teretne udruge također navode opasnosti od neprijavljenih i kontejnera s prekomjernom težinom.
Stoga se MSC IMO-a dogovorio s BIMCO-om da će pokrenuti nove mjere za otkrivanje i prijavljivanje kontejnera izgubljenih u moru, što može poboljšati njihovo pozicioniranje, praćenje i saniranje štete.
Također, IMO će uspostaviti obvezni sustav za prijavljivanje gubitka kontejnera i postavljanje novog rješenja na brodu za lako prepoznavanje točnog broja gubitaka.
Brodovi su dužni prijaviti gubitak kontejnera kroz standardizirani postupak. Važno je prijaviti što više detalja: identifikacija, teret koji se prevozi (posebno opasna roba ili štetne tvari), mogu li spremnici plutati i predstavljaju li opasnost od sudara s drugim plovilima, prenosi Pomorac.hr.
