Vertikalni koraligenski grebeni važna su staništa brojnih morskih vrsta. Ekipa HTV-ove emisije More bila je na brodu sa splitskim znanstvenicima koji nekoliko dana u hvarskom kanalu istražuju takve podvodne lokacije, od kojih su neke i na dubinama od 60 metara.

Profesor Alen Soldo stari je poznanik emisije More. Istraživanja akvatorija između Brača i Hvara provodi s dr. sc. Igorom Glavičićem, kojem je bio mentor na nedavnom doktoratu na poslijediplomskom studiju primijenjene znanosti o moru. Zanimaju ih riblje zajednice na koraligenskim staništima.

- One su nam od Bola udaljene, recimo, pola sata do sat vremena vožnje. Tih pozicija ima desetak, ugrubo govoreći, i onda na njima na neki način napravimo to uzorkovanje, odnosno snimimo ili brojimo ribe da vidimo koliko ih ima od samog početka sezone do kraja sezone, čak neke i preko zime, kaže Glavičić.

Istraživanje ima iznenađujuće pozitivnih rezultata.

- Došli smo do podatka da na ovom jednom koraligenskom grebenu koji ide od površine do 61 metra dubine obitava za sad 69 vrsta riba, dvije hrskavične i 67 koštunjavih i to je zapravo fascinantan podatak, jer nigdje na Mediteranu na tako jednom staništu nije pronađena tolika količina bioraznolikosti riba kao na ovome području, kaže prof. dr. sc. Alen Soldo s Odjela za Studije mora na Sveučilištu u Splitu.

Brojnost i raznolikost vrsta na nekoj takvoj lokaciji znak je i da bi se ona u budućnosti trebala zaštiti od bilo kakvog ribolova. 

- No-take zone se zapravo odnose na manja područja, nekakva točkasta područja. Tu bi se zabranio bilo kakav ribolov, bilo kakvo uznemiravanje. S obzirom na tu bioraznolikost smatramo da bi i okolna područja i okolina upravo tim zaštićenim zonama profitirala jer bi definitivno bilo i više ribe okolo, što je već poznata stvar u svijetu, napominje Soldo.

Rođeni Riječanin Igor Glavičić već 15-tak godina boravi na Braču. Vođenjem ronilačkog kluba u Bolu pronašao je i privatno i poslovno zadovoljstvo.

- Koliko god ljudi s kopna misle da su otočani malo čudni i specifični, kad počneš s ljudima raditi, surađivati i kad se stekne jedan odnos povjerenja i razumijevanja, mogu vam reći da mi je jako ugodno ovdje živjeti, kaže Glavičić, dodajući da se skoro osjeća kao da sam rođen ovdje.

Splićanin s bračkim korijenima Alen Soldo već se, možemo reći, i desetljećima na razne načine bori za zaštitu Jadrana. I kroz rad na Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, a potom i na splitskom sveučilištu, kao i kroz brojne suradnje s cehom ribara i našom administracijom koju često kritizira jer toliko spominjana hrvatska jadranska orijentacija uglavnom ostaje samo slovo na papiru.

- Jedino što možemo napraviti je nastaviti i dalje na neki način to promovirati. Na sreću ima i nešto mlađih ljudi i zapravo se širi taj krug ljudi koji su svjesni potrebe za zaštitom Jadrana, pa se nadamo da će doći do nekakve smjene generacija da bi došle one osobe koje to vide pa da se nešto s Jadranom uradi, ako ne bude već kasno, kaže Soldo za HTV.

Vertikalni koraligenski grebeni važna su staništa brojnih morskih vrsta. Ekipa HTV-ove emisije More bila je na brodu sa splitskim znanstvenicima koji nekoliko dana u hvarskom kanalu istražuju takve podvodne lokacije, od kojih su neke i na dubinama od 60 metara.

Profesor Alen Soldo stari je poznanik emisije More. Istraživanja akvatorija između Brača i Hvara provodi s dr. sc. Igorom Glavičićem, kojem je bio mentor na nedavnom doktoratu na poslijediplomskom studiju primijenjene znanosti o moru. Zanimaju ih riblje zajednice na koraligenskim staništima.

- One su nam od Bola udaljene, recimo, pola sata do sat vremena vožnje. Tih pozicija ima desetak, ugrubo govoreći, i onda na njima na neki način napravimo to uzorkovanje, odnosno snimimo ili brojimo ribe da vidimo koliko ih ima od samog početka sezone do kraja sezone, čak neke i preko zime, kaže Glavičić.

Istraživanje ima iznenađujuće pozitivnih rezultata.

- Došli smo do podatka da na ovom jednom koraligenskom grebenu koji ide od površine do 61 metra dubine obitava za sad 69 vrsta riba, dvije hrskavične i 67 koštunjavih i to je zapravo fascinantan podatak, jer nigdje na Mediteranu na tako jednom staništu nije pronađena tolika količina bioraznolikosti riba kao na ovome području, kaže prof. dr. sc. Alen Soldo s Odjela za Studije mora na Sveučilištu u Splitu.

Brojnost i raznolikost vrsta na nekoj takvoj lokaciji znak je i da bi se ona u budućnosti trebala zaštiti od bilo kakvog ribolova. 

- No-take zone se zapravo odnose na manja područja, nekakva točkasta područja. Tu bi se zabranio bilo kakav ribolov, bilo kakvo uznemiravanje. S obzirom na tu bioraznolikost smatramo da bi i okolna područja i okolina upravo tim zaštićenim zonama profitirala jer bi definitivno bilo i više ribe okolo, što je već poznata stvar u svijetu, napominje Soldo.

Rođeni Riječanin Igor Glavičić već 15-tak godina boravi na Braču. Vođenjem ronilačkog kluba u Bolu pronašao je i privatno i poslovno zadovoljstvo.

- Koliko god ljudi s kopna misle da su otočani malo čudni i specifični, kad počneš s ljudima raditi, surađivati i kad se stekne jedan odnos povjerenja i razumijevanja, mogu vam reći da mi je jako ugodno ovdje živjeti, kaže Glavičić, dodajući da se skoro osjeća kao da sam rođen ovdje.

Splićanin s bračkim korijenima Alen Soldo već se, možemo reći, i desetljećima na razne načine bori za zaštitu Jadrana. I kroz rad na Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, a potom i na splitskom sveučilištu, kao i kroz brojne suradnje s cehom ribara i našom administracijom koju često kritizira jer toliko spominjana hrvatska jadranska orijentacija uglavnom ostaje samo slovo na papiru.

- Jedino što možemo napraviti je nastaviti i dalje na neki način to promovirati. Na sreću ima i nešto mlađih ljudi i zapravo se širi taj krug ljudi koji su svjesni potrebe za zaštitom Jadrana, pa se nadamo da će doći do nekakve smjene generacija da bi došle one osobe koje to vide pa da se nešto s Jadranom uradi, ako ne bude već kasno, kaže Soldo za HTV.

Vertikalni koraligenski grebeni važna su staništa brojnih morskih vrsta. Ekipa HTV-ove emisije More bila je na brodu sa splitskim znanstvenicima koji nekoliko dana u hvarskom kanalu istražuju takve podvodne lokacije, od kojih su neke i na dubinama od 60 metara.

Profesor Alen Soldo stari je poznanik emisije More. Istraživanja akvatorija između Brača i Hvara provodi s dr. sc. Igorom Glavičićem, kojem je bio mentor na nedavnom doktoratu na poslijediplomskom studiju primijenjene znanosti o moru. Zanimaju ih riblje zajednice na koraligenskim staništima.

- One su nam od Bola udaljene, recimo, pola sata do sat vremena vožnje. Tih pozicija ima desetak, ugrubo govoreći, i onda na njima na neki način napravimo to uzorkovanje, odnosno snimimo ili brojimo ribe da vidimo koliko ih ima od samog početka sezone do kraja sezone, čak neke i preko zime, kaže Glavičić.

Istraživanje ima iznenađujuće pozitivnih rezultata.

- Došli smo do podatka da na ovom jednom koraligenskom grebenu koji ide od površine do 61 metra dubine obitava za sad 69 vrsta riba, dvije hrskavične i 67 koštunjavih i to je zapravo fascinantan podatak, jer nigdje na Mediteranu na tako jednom staništu nije pronađena tolika količina bioraznolikosti riba kao na ovome području, kaže prof. dr. sc. Alen Soldo s Odjela za Studije mora na Sveučilištu u Splitu.

Brojnost i raznolikost vrsta na nekoj takvoj lokaciji znak je i da bi se ona u budućnosti trebala zaštiti od bilo kakvog ribolova. 

- No-take zone se zapravo odnose na manja područja, nekakva točkasta područja. Tu bi se zabranio bilo kakav ribolov, bilo kakvo uznemiravanje. S obzirom na tu bioraznolikost smatramo da bi i okolna područja i okolina upravo tim zaštićenim zonama profitirala jer bi definitivno bilo i više ribe okolo, što je već poznata stvar u svijetu, napominje Soldo.

Rođeni Riječanin Igor Glavičić već 15-tak godina boravi na Braču. Vođenjem ronilačkog kluba u Bolu pronašao je i privatno i poslovno zadovoljstvo.
