Meksička državna naftna kompanija Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) potvrdila je vijesti o tragičnoj nesreći na jednoj od naftnih platformi u blizini obale Meksika. Nažalost, u nesreći je ozlijeđeno najmanje osam offshore radnika, dvojica su poginula, a jedan se još uvijek vodi kao nestao, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Kompanija Pemex potvrdila je da je u petak, 7. srpnja, oko 5:25 ujutro na platformi Nohoch Alfa u Meksičkom zaljevu izbio požar. Nakon izbijanja požara aktivirao se sustav za hitno isključivanje, a na mjesto nesreće poslana su četiri vatrogasna broda. Platforma se nalazi na naftnom i plinskom polju Cantarell u zaljevu Campeche, kod obale Meksika. Srećom, vatrogasni timovi uspjeli su spriječiti širenje požara na ostale četiri platforme u ovom području, navodi Offshore Energy.

Prema priopćenju meksičke kompanije, u trenutku požara na platformi se nalazilo 328 radnika, od čega je 321 radnik evakuiran uz pomoć sedam brodova koji su sudjelovali u spašavanju, navodi FleetMon. Generalni direktor Pemexa Octavio Romero Oropeza potvrdio je da su u požaru ozlijeđena tri njihova zaposlenika, koji su izvan životne opasnosti. Dvojica zaposlenika neimenovanog izvođača radova su poginula, još pet ih je ozlijeđeno, a za jednom osobom još uvijek se traga.

Budući da su vatrogasni brodovi stigli na vrijeme, Oropeza navodi da je spriječeno širenje požara na ostale platforme obradnog centra Nohoch. Ponovio je kako je sigurnost djelatnika, ali i zaposlenika izvođača radova, na prvom mjestu za Pemex.

Oropeza je iznio više informacija o radnicima koji su stradali u požaru. Od trojice ozlijeđenih zaposlenika Pemexa, koji su izvan životne opasnosti, dvojica su već puštena na kućnu njegu, dok treći ima opekline na 35 posto tijela i prebačen je u bolnicu u Mexico Cityju.

Uz to, tijekom požara ozlijeđeno je pet osoba koje rade za neimenovanu privatnu kompaniju, ali nitko od njih nije životno ugrožen. Nažalost, u požaru su smrtno stradala dva zaposlenika iste kompanije, dok se za jednim još uvijek traga.

Požar je utjecao i na proizvodnju nekoliko tisuća barela ekvivalenta sirove nafte, stoga Oropeza naglašava da će Pemex tražiti rješenje za brz povratak proizvodnji nafte i plina. Požar je stavljen pod kontrolu i sada se radi na otkrivanju uzroka nesreće.

Naftno i plinsko polje Cantarell jedno je od najproduktivnijih na svijetu. U najnovijoj objavi, Pemex je potvrdio da je nesreća utjecala na proizvodnju više od 700.000 barela nafte jer je kompanija bila prisiljena zatvoriti bušotine u ovom području.

Nažalost, u nesreći je ozlijeđeno najmanje osam offshore radnika, dvojica su poginula, a jedan se još uvijek vodi kao nestao, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Kompanija Pemex potvrdila je da je u petak, 7. srpnja, oko 5:25 ujutro na platformi Nohoch Alfa u Meksičkom zaljevu izbio požar. Nakon izbijanja požara aktivirao se sustav za hitno isključivanje, a na mjesto nesreće poslana su četiri vatrogasna broda. Platforma se nalazi na naftnom i plinskom polju Cantarell u zaljevu Campeche, kod obale Meksika. Srećom, vatrogasni timovi uspjeli su spriječiti širenje požara na ostale četiri platforme u ovom području, navodi Offshore Energy.

Prema priopćenju meksičke kompanije, u trenutku požara na platformi se nalazilo 328 radnika, od čega je 321 radnik evakuiran uz pomoć sedam brodova koji su sudjelovali u spašavanju, navodi FleetMon. Generalni direktor Pemexa Octavio Romero Oropeza potvrdio je da su u požaru ozlijeđena tri njihova zaposlenika, koji su izvan životne opasnosti. Dvojica zaposlenika neimenovanog izvođača radova su poginula, još pet ih je ozlijeđeno, a za jednom osobom još uvijek se traga.

Budući da su vatrogasni brodovi stigli na vrijeme, Oropeza navodi da je spriječeno širenje požara na ostale platforme obradnog centra Nohoch. Ponovio je kako je sigurnost djelatnika, ali i zaposlenika izvođača radova, na prvom mjestu za Pemex.

Oropeza je iznio više informacija o radnicima koji su stradali u požaru. Od trojice ozlijeđenih zaposlenika Pemexa, koji su izvan životne opasnosti, dvojica su već puštena na kućnu njegu, dok treći ima opekline na 35 posto tijela i prebačen je u bolnicu u Mexico Cityju.

Uz to, tijekom požara ozlijeđeno je pet osoba koje rade za neimenovanu privatnu kompaniju, ali nitko od njih nije životno ugrožen. Nažalost, u požaru su smrtno stradala dva zaposlenika iste kompanije, dok se za jednim još uvijek traga.

Požar je utjecao i na proizvodnju nekoliko tisuća barela ekvivalenta sirove nafte, stoga Oropeza naglašava da će Pemex tražiti rješenje za brz povratak proizvodnji nafte i plina. Požar je stavljen pod kontrolu i sada se radi na otkrivanju uzroka nesreće.

Naftno i plinsko polje Cantarell jedno je od najproduktivnijih na svijetu. U najnovijoj objavi, Pemex je potvrdio da je nesreća utjecala na proizvodnju više od 700.000 barela nafte jer je kompanija bila prisiljena zatvoriti bušotine u ovom području.
