U organizaciji JK Orsan Dubrovnik i PŠU Peliška jedra održat će se 43. Južnodalmatinska regata Orebić – Korčula – Mljet – Dubrovnik, od 4. do 6. kolovoza.
Ova popularna ljetna regata tradicionalno se održava u prvom vikendu kolovoza, a svake godine okupi 40-tak domaćih i stranih posada kako regatnih, tako i obiteljskih krstaša.
Regata je podijeljena u 3 etape. Start regate je u Orebiću dok je cilj prve etape 16nm udaljena Pomena na otoku Mljetu uz obavezan obilazak bove ispred Korčule.
Druga etapa regate flotu vodi od Pomene prema Pelješcu tj. otočiću Lirica s ciljem u Prožuri na otoku Mljetu.
Finalna etapa regate starta ispred Prožure i završava nadomak Dubrovnika kraj otočića Dakse.
Kraj poslijednjeg dana regate rezerviran je za svečanu podjelu nagrada za najuspješnije uz neizostavno druženje i zajedničku večeru koja se tradicionalano održava u hotelu Lapad nedaleko od JK Orsan.
Povijest Južnodalmatinske regate počela se pisati 1981. godine. Regata je krenula iz Orebića. Bova je bila ispred Vignja, okretom oko bove brodovi su nastavljali put prema Pomeni na Mljetu.
Druga etapa je bila od Pomene do Prožure, mjesta također na Mljetu, ali se nije, kao danas, išlo prema Pelješcu, dok je treća etapa, kao što je i danas, bila etapa od Prožure do Dubrovnika.
U idućim godinama ruta se prve i druge etape pomicala kako bi se regata produljila. Najprije se išlo oko otočića Aleksandrice ili Lirice.
S godinama je dolazilo sve više brodova s malo dubljim kolumbama, pa je organizatore bilo strah, zbog plićine, ako se ide oko Lirice, da se netko ne nasuče. Zato je već dugi niz godina bova ispred otočića.
Prvih godina start bi jedne godine bio iz Orebića, a druge iz Dubrovnika.
Prva regata održana krajem kolovoza 1981. godine okupila je petnaestak brodova.
Rekordna je bila 1994. godina sa 62 broda. Zadnjih godina jedri između 40 i 50 brodova.

U organizaciji JK Orsan Dubrovnik i PŠU Peliška jedra održat će se 43. Južnodalmatinska regata Orebić – Korčula – Mljet – Dubrovnik, od 4. do 6. kolovoza.
Ova popularna ljetna regata tradicionalno se održava u prvom vikendu kolovoza, a svake godine okupi 40-tak domaćih i stranih posada kako regatnih, tako i obiteljskih krstaša.
Regata je podijeljena u 3 etape. Start regate je u Orebiću dok je cilj prve etape 16nm udaljena Pomena na otoku Mljetu uz obavezan obilazak bove ispred Korčule.
Druga etapa regate flotu vodi od Pomene prema Pelješcu tj. otočiću Lirica s ciljem u Prožuri na otoku Mljetu.
Finalna etapa regate starta ispred Prožure i završava nadomak Dubrovnika kraj otočića Dakse.
Kraj poslijednjeg dana regate rezerviran je za svečanu podjelu nagrada za najuspješnije uz neizostavno druženje i zajedničku večeru koja se tradicionalano održava u hotelu Lapad nedaleko od JK Orsan.
Povijest Južnodalmatinske regate počela se pisati 1981. godine. Regata je krenula iz Orebića. Bova je bila ispred Vignja, okretom oko bove brodovi su nastavljali put prema Pomeni na Mljetu.
Druga etapa je bila od Pomene do Prožure, mjesta također na Mljetu, ali se nije, kao danas, išlo prema Pelješcu, dok je treća etapa, kao što je i danas, bila etapa od Prožure do Dubrovnika.
U idućim godinama ruta se prve i druge etape pomicala kako bi se regata produljila. Najprije se išlo oko otočića Aleksandrice ili Lirice.
S godinama je dolazilo sve više brodova s malo dubljim kolumbama, pa je organizatore bilo strah, zbog plićine, ako se ide oko Lirice, da se netko ne nasuče. Zato je već dugi niz godina bova ispred otočića.
Prvih godina start bi jedne godine bio iz Orebića, a druge iz Dubrovnika.
Prva regata održana krajem kolovoza 1981. godine okupila je petnaestak brodova.
Rekordna je bila 1994. godina sa 62 broda. Zadnjih godina jedri između 40 i 50 brodova.
