Britansko-francuska nadzorna agencija ‘Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade Gulf of Guinea’ (MDAT-GoG) izdala je upozorenje u kojem stoji da se nepoznat broj osoba ukrcao na product tanker, oko 300 nautičkih milja južno od Abidjana u Obali Bjelokosti. Navodi se da je napad u tijeku, bez dodatnih detalja, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Sigurnosni konzultant Praesidium izvijestio je da se napad najvjerojatnije dogodio 10. travnja, oko 14:00 UTC. Brod je identificiran kao Success 9 (IMO: 9258131), pod zastavom Singapura, javlja Splash247. Prema podacima Equasisa, riječ je o product tankeru od 6.135 dwt u vlasništvu HS Ocean iz Singapura. AIS podaci pokazuju da se brod nalazi u blizini Abidjana najmanje od kraja ožujka, navodi The Maritime Executive.

Praesidium je analizirao dostupne podatke te izvijestio da je tanker oko 06:00 počeo usporavati, a do 14:25, kada je izgubljen AIS signal, brod je plutao. Pretpostavlja se da su za to vrijeme pirati preuzeli kontrolu nad brodom.

Pretpostavlja se da je ovaj incident još jedan u nizu te da pirati napadaju tankere za opskrbu gorivom kako bi krali naftu. Praesidium navodi da se Success 9 već neko vrijeme plovio u ovom području, vjerojatno kao tanker za opskrbu gorivom. Još jedan product tanker, B. Ocean od 5.700 dwt, u vlasništvu južnokorejske kompanije, napadnut je nekoliko puta tijekom prošle te početkom ove godine. Pirati su svaki put ukrali naftu i oštetili brodsku opremu. U incidentu je reagirala talijanska mornarica, a posada srećom nije ozlijeđena.

Zbog udaljenosti tankera od obale tijekom ovotjednog napada, EOS Risk Group upozorava na opasnost u Gvinejskom zaljevu. Naglašavaju da je u napadu vjerojatno korišten veći matični brod te da postoji mogućnost od daljnjih napada ili krađe tereta. MDAT-GoG također upozorava na povećan rizik od piratskih napada.

Prije nešto više od dva tjedna, točnije 26. ožujka, napadnut je još jedan tanker, Monjasa Reformer, južnije duž afričke zapadne obale, kod obale Konga. Brod je nestao na nekoliko dana, a nekoliko članova posade je oteto. Oteti pomorci i dalje se vode kao nestali, a vlasti i brodarska kompanija Monjasa izvijestili su da rade na oslobađanju nestalih članova posade.

Britansko-francuska nadzorna agencija ‘Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade Gulf of Guinea’ (MDAT-GoG) izdala je upozorenje u kojem stoji da se nepoznat broj osoba ukrcao na product tanker, oko 300 nautičkih milja južno od Abidjana u Obali Bjelokosti. Navodi se da je napad u tijeku, bez dodatnih detalja, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Sigurnosni konzultant Praesidium izvijestio je da se napad najvjerojatnije dogodio 10. travnja, oko 14:00 UTC. Brod je identificiran kao Success 9 (IMO: 9258131), pod zastavom Singapura, javlja Splash247. Prema podacima Equasisa, riječ je o product tankeru od 6.135 dwt u vlasništvu HS Ocean iz Singapura. AIS podaci pokazuju da se brod nalazi u blizini Abidjana najmanje od kraja ožujka, navodi The Maritime Executive.

Praesidium je analizirao dostupne podatke te izvijestio da je tanker oko 06:00 počeo usporavati, a do 14:25, kada je izgubljen AIS signal, brod je plutao. Pretpostavlja se da su za to vrijeme pirati preuzeli kontrolu nad brodom.

Pretpostavlja se da je ovaj incident još jedan u nizu te da pirati napadaju tankere za opskrbu gorivom kako bi krali naftu. Praesidium navodi da se Success 9 već neko vrijeme plovio u ovom području, vjerojatno kao tanker za opskrbu gorivom. Još jedan product tanker, B. Ocean od 5.700 dwt, u vlasništvu južnokorejske kompanije, napadnut je nekoliko puta tijekom prošle te početkom ove godine. Pirati su svaki put ukrali naftu i oštetili brodsku opremu. U incidentu je reagirala talijanska mornarica, a posada srećom nije ozlijeđena.

Zbog udaljenosti tankera od obale tijekom ovotjednog napada, EOS Risk Group upozorava na opasnost u Gvinejskom zaljevu. Naglašavaju da je u napadu vjerojatno korišten veći matični brod te da postoji mogućnost od daljnjih napada ili krađe tereta. MDAT-GoG također upozorava na povećan rizik od piratskih napada.

Prije nešto više od dva tjedna, točnije 26. ožujka, napadnut je još jedan tanker, Monjasa Reformer, južnije duž afričke zapadne obale, kod obale Konga. Brod je nestao na nekoliko dana, a nekoliko članova posade je oteto. Britansko-francuska nadzorna agencija ‘Maritime Domain Awareness for Trade Gulf of Guinea’ (MDAT-GoG) izdala je upozorenje u kojem stoji da se nepoznat broj osoba ukrcao na product tanker, oko 300 nautičkih milja južno od Abidjana u Obali Bjelokosti. Navodi se da je napad u tijeku, bez dodatnih detalja, prenosi Pomorac.hr.

Sigurnosni konzultant Praesidium izvijestio je da se napad najvjerojatnije dogodio 10. travnja, oko 14:00 UTC. Brod je identificiran kao Success 9 (IMO: 9258131), pod zastavom Singapura, javlja Splash247. Prema podacima Equasisa, riječ je o product tankeru od 6.135 dwt u vlasništvu HS Ocean iz Singapura. AIS podaci pokazuju da se brod nalazi u blizini Abidjana najmanje od kraja ožujka, navodi The Maritime Executive.

Praesidium je analizirao dostupne podatke te izvijestio da je tanker oko 06:00 počeo usporavati, a do 14:25, kada je izgubljen AIS signal, brod je plutao. Pretpostavlja se da su za to vrijeme pirati preuzeli kontrolu nad brodom.

Pretpostavlja se da je ovaj incident još jedan u nizu te da pirati napadaju tankere za opskrbu gorivom kako bi krali naftu. Praesidium navodi da se Success 9 već neko vrijeme plovio u ovom području, vjerojatno kao tanker za opskrbu gorivom. Još jedan product tanker, B. Ocean od 5.700 dwt, u vlasništvu južnokorejske kompanije, napadnut je nekoliko puta tijekom prošle te početkom ove godine. Pirati su svaki put ukrali naftu i oštetili brodsku opremu. U incidentu je reagirala talijanska mornarica, a posada srećom nije ozlijeđena.

Zbog udaljenosti tankera od obale tijekom ovotjednog napada, EOS Risk Group upozorava na opasnost u Gvinejskom zaljevu. Naglašavaju da je u napadu vjerojatno korišten veći matični brod te da postoji mogućnost od daljnjih napada ili krađe tereta. MDAT-GoG također upozorava na povećan rizik od piratskih napada.

Prije nešto više od dva tjedna, točnije 26. ožujka, napadnut je još jedan tanker, Monjasa Reformer, južnije duž afričke zapadne obale, kod obale Konga. Brod je nestao na nekoliko dana, a nekoliko članova posade je oteto. Oteti pomorci i dalje se vode kao nestali, a vlasti i brodarska kompanija Monjasa izvijestili su da rade na oslobađanju nestalih članova posade.
