Na jugu Italije, blizu grada Civitavecchia, nakon 94 sata jedrenja, kroz cilj regate "Roma per Uno-Roma per Due–Roma per Tutti" u srijedu ujutro prošli su naši jedriličari Ivica Kostelić i Darko Prižmić, kao prvi između 37 brodova i jedini iz Hrvatske!

Jedrilica Ivice Kostelića, ACI 40 (Optimus prime solo), cijelo je vrijeme bila u vodstvu dok je drugi brod, francuski Tintorel, bio udaljen čak 20 milja.

Trideseto izdanje ove regate je krenulo protekle subote. Ruta je duga 539 nautičkih milja i startala iz Rive di Traiano kod Rima, prolazila između otoka Ventotene i San Stefano te obilazila otok Lipari lijevim bokom, nakon čega se penjala natrag na sjever, ravno u cilj ispred Rive di Traiano.

- Nakon furioznog starta i obaveznog prolaska između otoka Ventotene i San Stefano, jedrili smo na laylineu prema Liparima na 10-15 čvorova jugozapadnjaka u orci. Noć oblačna s povremenom kišicom, mračno ko u rogu, a munje ponekad bljesnu oko nas. Pod punim glavnim jedrom i genovom, vjetar u minuti diže na 35 pa na 40 čvorova. Dozivam Prizmu iz kreveta, brzo kratimo jedro u kaosu noćne nevere. Nastavljamo jedriti s 30-ak čvorova vjetra u bok - brod leti! Do jutra napravili smo 40 milja prednosti u odnosu na pratioce! Francuska škola...

Nešto od te prednosti istopilo se tijekom dana jer Eol očito nije bio kod kuće na Eolskim otocima, ali na okretanju južne punte Lipara imamo još uvijek solidnu prednost. Slijedi orca prema sjeveru i obrana stečene prednosti.

Amo ća! - napisao je Kostelić na svojoj facebook stranici dan prije finalnog juriša prema cilju.

S Darkom Prižmićem već je jedrio nekoliko regata u sezonama 2018. i 2019., a prije ove regate testirali su brod i uklonili sitne nedostatke. Volja, iskustvo i špirit doveli su ih do pobjede. Bravo momci!

Na jugu Italije, blizu grada Civitavecchia, nakon 94 sata jedrenja, kroz cilj regate "Roma per Uno-Roma per Due–Roma per Tutti" u srijedu ujutro prošli su naši jedriličari Ivica Kostelić i Darko Prižmić, kao prvi između 37 brodova i jedini iz Hrvatske!

Jedrilica Ivice Kostelića, ACI 40 (Optimus prime solo), cijelo je vrijeme bila u vodstvu dok je drugi brod, francuski Tintorel, bio udaljen čak 20 milja.

Trideseto izdanje ove regate je krenulo protekle subote. Ruta je duga 539 nautičkih milja i startala iz Rive di Traiano kod Rima, prolazila između otoka Ventotene i San Stefano te obilazila otok Lipari lijevim bokom, nakon čega se penjala natrag na sjever, ravno u cilj ispred Rive di Traiano.

- Nakon furioznog starta i obaveznog prolaska između otoka Ventotene i San Stefano, jedrili smo na laylineu prema Liparima na 10-15 čvorova jugozapadnjaka u orci. Noć oblačna s povremenom kišicom, mračno ko u rogu, a munje ponekad bljesnu oko nas. Pod punim glavnim jedrom i genovom, vjetar u minuti diže na 35 pa na 40 čvorova. Dozivam Prizmu iz kreveta, brzo kratimo jedro u kaosu noćne nevere. Nastavljamo jedriti s 30-ak čvorova vjetra u bok - brod leti! Do jutra napravili smo 40 milja prednosti u odnosu na pratioce! Francuska škola...

Nešto od te prednosti istopilo se tijekom dana jer Eol očito nije bio kod kuće na Eolskim otocima, ali na okretanju južne punte Lipara imamo još uvijek solidnu prednost. Slijedi orca prema sjeveru i obrana stečene prednosti.

Amo ća! - napisao je Kostelić na svojoj facebook stranici dan prije finalnog juriša prema cilju.

S Darkom Prižmićem već je jedrio nekoliko regata u sezonama 2018. i 2019., a prije ove regate testirali su brod i uklonili sitne nedostatke. Volja, iskustvo i špirit doveli su ih do pobjede. Bravo momci!
