Varaličari s nešto dužim stažem vjerojatno još uvijek pamte svojedobno vrlo popularne varalice Rollo, koje su u svojoj unutrašnjosti imale mali kalem pod oprugom na koji je bila namotana sajlica. Ta je sajlica svojim unutarnjim krajem bila fiksirana za varalicu, dok je njezin drugi kraj završavao spojnim prstenom.

U trenutku kačenja ribe sistem se zatezao, a sajlica bi se razmotala, tako da bi se u tom trenutku između varalice i tankog najlonskog monofila ili fluorokarbona našla sajla, otporna na oštre zube predatora. Problem s ovom varalicom na moru ležao je ponajprije u neotpornosti opružnog mehanizma na sol, ali i u nemogućnosti bržeg povlačenja varalice jer bi se pri većoj brzini sajlica zbog otpora izvlačila.

Mali kalem

Igra s trikovima koji se otkrivaju u trenutku griza se, naravno, nastavila i u godinama koje su slijedile, pri čemu su se u međuvremenu pojavljivale i jednako nevidljivo nestajale razne inačice.

No, jedan takav trik koji, po svemu sudeći, ne bi trebao nezapamćen nestati jest serija varalica Sealtek. Riječ je o tvrdo-mekim varalicama čija je glava izrađena od tvrde plastike, dok je stražnji dio izrađen od mekog silikona.

Oblik tijela tipičan je shadowski, što omogućuje lov s obale, ali isto tako i lov klasičnom laganom panulom. Baš kao i spomenute varalice Rollo, tako i varalice Sealtek imaju u svojem prednjem dijelu ugrađen mali kalem s namotanom sajlicom.

No, za razliku od varalica Rollo, kod Sealteka se u trenutku griza oslobađa udica koja je, naravno, vezana na integriranoj sajlici tako da varalica ostaje desetak centimetara ispred ribe.

Zamjenjiv rep

Na ovaj je način omogućena kvalitetnija penetracija udice te su promašeni grizevi ili spadanja ribe s udice doslovno desetkovani. Udica je prilično čvrsto umetnuta u tijelo varalice, što je više nego dovoljno za ostvarivanje kvalitetnog kačenja u trenutku napada, a koje se nakon zatezanja sistema i izvlačenja sajlice dodatno potvrđuje.

Nakon kačenja i skidanja ribe, sajlicu je potrebno namotati, što se postiže jednostavnim zakretanjem zupčastog dijela kalema koji je jednim dijelom dostupan s bočne strane varalice. Nakon što je sajlica namotana, udica se tvrdo utisne u svoje ležište, čime je varalica ponovno spremna za lov.

Naravno, nakon više ovakvih kačenja silikonski se repni dio mora oštetiti, što nipošto nije kraj lovne karijere varalice Sealtek jer je taj repni dio lako zamjenjiv.

Oduševljeni spinneri

Ove su se varalice pojavile na američkom tržištu i među američkim su spinnerima izazvale pravo oduševljenje. Naime, zakačena riba, bez obzira na to što radila, kojim intenzitetom mijenjala smjer i ma koliko se silovito opirala, nikada ne spada s udice.

Varaličari s nešto dužim stažem vjerojatno još uvijek pamte svojedobno vrlo popularne varalice Rollo, koje su u svojoj unutrašnjosti imale mali kalem pod oprugom na koji je bila namotana sajlica. Ta je sajlica svojim unutarnjim krajem bila fiksirana za varalicu, dok je njezin drugi kraj završavao spojnim prstenom.

U trenutku kačenja ribe sistem se zatezao, a sajlica bi se razmotala, tako da bi se u tom trenutku između varalice i tankog najlonskog monofila ili fluorokarbona našla sajla, otporna na oštre zube predatora. Problem s ovom varalicom na moru ležao je ponajprije u neotpornosti opružnog mehanizma na sol, ali i u nemogućnosti bržeg povlačenja varalice jer bi se pri većoj brzini sajlica zbog otpora izvlačila.

Mali kalem

Igra s trikovima koji se otkrivaju u trenutku griza se, naravno, nastavila i u godinama koje su slijedile, pri čemu su se u međuvremenu pojavljivale i jednako nevidljivo nestajale razne inačice.

No, jedan takav trik koji, po svemu sudeći, ne bi trebao nezapamćen nestati jest serija varalica Sealtek. Riječ je o tvrdo-mekim varalicama čija je glava izrađena od tvrde plastike, dok je stražnji dio izrađen od mekog silikona.

Oblik tijela tipičan je shadowski, što omogućuje lov s obale, ali isto tako i lov klasičnom laganom panulom. Baš kao i spomenute varalice Rollo, tako i varalice Sealtek imaju u svojem prednjem dijelu ugrađen mali kalem s namotanom sajlicom.

No, za razliku od varalica Rollo, kod Sealteka se u trenutku griza oslobađa udica koja je, naravno, vezana na integriranoj sajlici tako da varalica ostaje desetak centimetara ispred ribe.

Zamjenjiv rep

Na ovaj je način omogućena kvalitetnija penetracija udice te su promašeni grizevi ili spadanja ribe s udice doslovno desetkovani. Udica je prilično čvrsto umetnuta u tijelo varalice, što je više nego dovoljno za ostvarivanje kvalitetnog kačenja u trenutku napada, a koje se nakon zatezanja sistema i izvlačenja sajlice dodatno potvrđuje.

Nakon kačenja i skidanja ribe, sajlicu je potrebno namotati, što se postiže jednostavnim zakretanjem zupčastog dijela kalema koji je jednim dijelom dostupan s bočne strane varalice. Nakon što je sajlica namotana, udica se tvrdo utisne u svoje ležište, čime je varalica ponovno spremna za lov.

Naravno, nakon više ovakvih kačenja silikonski se repni dio mora oštetiti, što nipošto nije kraj lovne karijere varalice Sealtek jer je taj repni dio lako zamjenjiv.

Oduševljeni spinneri

Ove su se varalice pojavile na američkom tržištu i među američkim su spinnerima izazvale pravo oduševljenje. Naime, zakačena riba, bez obzira na to što radila, kojim intenzitetom mijenjala smjer i ma koliko se silovito opirala, nikada ne spada s udice.

Varaličari s nešto dužim stažem vjerojatno još uvijek pamte svojedobno vrlo popularne varalice Rollo, koje su u svojoj unutrašnjosti imale mali kalem pod oprugom na koji je bila namotana sajlica. Ta je sajlica svojim unutarnjim krajem bila fiksirana za varalicu, dok je njezin drugi kraj završavao spojnim prstenom.

U trenutku kačenja ribe sistem se zatezao, a sajlica bi se razmotala, tako da bi se u tom trenutku između varalice i tankog najlonskog monofila ili fluorokarbona našla sajla, otporna na oštre zube predatora. Problem s ovom varalicom na moru ležao je ponajprije u neotpornosti opružnog mehanizma na sol, ali i u nemogućnosti bržeg povlačenja varalice jer bi se pri većoj brzini sajlica zbog otpora izvlačila.
