Često se isti čvorovi u različitoj literaturi nazivaju različitim nazivima. Iako se to dijelom može pripisati i publicističkoj dovitljivosti, najčešće je riječ o uistinu različitim nazivima istoga čvora, baš kao što je slučaj i s narodnim nazivima riba.

Tako je i ovaj čvor, kao varijacija Brubaker čvora i potpuno drukčiji od izvornog Turl knota, nazvan Dvostruki turl. No, kako god ga nazivali, vrijedi činjenica da je jednostavan i vrlo praktičan.

​Naime, Dvostruki turl vrlo je pogodan za vezivanje debljim najlonskim monofilom, što ga čini korisnim kad je u pitanju lov kirnji ili ugora.

Nebrojeno puta testiran, pogotovo na sjevernim morima, pokazao se pogodnijim od, primjerice, klasičnog Blood knota. Posebno je zanimljivo da mu se nosivost povećava za oko 25 posto ako se u startu struna provuče dva puta kroz oko udice ili zogulina.

Dvostruki turl je vrlo jednostavan za vezivanje, a kada se jednom usvoji teško se zaboravlja.

3 - Obje polupetlje treba pridržati tako da se u sredini zadrži slobodan otvor, pa se slobodni kraj strune provuče kroz otvor obje polupetlje

4 - Sad se polupetlje mogu pustiti, a čvor lagano zategnuti paralelnim povlačenjem oba kraja strune. Premda se namotaji kod ovog čvora gotovo nikada ne poremete, ipak ih je poželjno popratiti, osobito ako je u pitanju jako debeli najlonski monofil

5 - Prije konačnog zatezanja, čvor treba navlažiti slinom, a ako se radi o promjerima iznad jednog milimetra zatezanje je bolje obaviti kliještima. Kraj se otkine na dva milimetra od čvora, čime je on dovršen

Često se isti čvorovi u različitoj literaturi nazivaju različitim nazivima. Iako se to dijelom može pripisati i publicističkoj dovitljivosti, najčešće je riječ o uistinu različitim nazivima istoga čvora, baš kao što je slučaj i s narodnim nazivima riba.

Tako je i ovaj čvor, kao varijacija Brubaker čvora i potpuno drukčiji od izvornog Turl knota, nazvan Dvostruki turl. No, kako god ga nazivali, vrijedi činjenica da je jednostavan i vrlo praktičan.

​Naime, Dvostruki turl vrlo je pogodan za vezivanje debljim najlonskim monofilom, što ga čini korisnim kad je u pitanju lov kirnji ili ugora.

Nebrojeno puta testiran, pogotovo na sjevernim morima, pokazao se pogodnijim od, primjerice, klasičnog Blood knota. Posebno je zanimljivo da mu se nosivost povećava za oko 25 posto ako se u startu struna provuče dva puta kroz oko udice ili zogulina.

Dvostruki turl je vrlo jednostavan za vezivanje, a kada se jednom usvoji teško se zaboravlja.

3 - Obje polupetlje treba pridržati tako da se u sredini zadrži slobodan otvor, pa se slobodni kraj strune provuče kroz otvor obje polupetlje

4 - Sad se polupetlje mogu pustiti, a čvor lagano zategnuti paralelnim povlačenjem oba kraja strune. Premda se namotaji kod ovog čvora gotovo nikada ne poremete, ipak ih je poželjno popratiti, osobito ako je u pitanju jako debeli najlonski monofil
